Looked at rich list, funny/strange that guys at very top apparently do NOT use coin control, all kinds of haphazard small amounts in there..do you guys NOT care about maximizing your holdings..or does it really all grow the same anyway  Undecided

HYP is #32 in marketcap on CMC (#22 on cryptocoinrank) and, probably more important, also #32 on volume.

Remember guys: volume matters more than price. Volume is an indicator of actual interest (it is still too early to talk of utility, but we are working on it).

It's too late to profitably invest at this moment, isn't it?
Don't forget that HYP has unlimited amount so it is never too late - there are just time now when you can do some insane profits (it is mostly a matter of luck) and some moments when you just stake and cash with time. The virtue of inflation is that it is never too late.

So, no, it is not too late. You will just need more patience.

Will annual interest rate be reduced sometime?
Or it will be always 750%?
Always 750% (this is not NVCS) but a max generation mechanism will kick in in two months.

Hi all.
I am new to this coin and was curious what the latest wallet version is? I am running OS X and seem to be having trouble syncing a wallet. Have 0 active connections to hyper stake network. Have closed and relaunched a few times. Have deleted the peers.dat file. Nothing seems to be helping.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks!

If that doesn't sort you out join us in irc (##hyperstake on freenode.net) and we can try to help you further

Thanks. Looks like I am running v1.0.6.0HyperStake-1.0.
Can you send me a link to the latest OS X wallet? Link on first page of ANN gave me the version I posted. Thanks!

I have 12 active connections normally but if I want to add more peers from http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/peerinfo ,I can do it ?

Yes when you start your wallet, do it from terminal or command line. "HyperStake-qt.exe -maxconnections=20"

addnode IP only add

or

addnode IP:port add

?

I've always included the port when doing addnode

Thanks a lot billotronic  Cheesy

northern exposure

done, ty for advertisement.

lol PoW... man this coin has spoiled me. Maintaining my wallet is a LOT easier then chasing after profitable coins to mine. Much easier to participate in chain security without the need of $$$ in hardware and upkeep.

I think thats the key of HyperStake, ppl need to realize it, PoS have lot of future and this coin from my point of view is the #1 about it.

Really is fantastic what the HYP community can do, and totally agree with you when you wanted hyp at 1k sats. Trust me, me too  Wink

Anarchy is not chaos.
At present, I'm not interested in selling, as I'm building. After my initial investment, I had and emergency and sold well over half at relatively low price, and have since been rebuilding. I'm above where I was, but I'm not where I need to be.

Once I hit the range I'm aiming for, I'll be selling approximately 25% of my stake income for the sake of moving the chain, and profit taking of course, but I'm not in a hurry to hype HYP. It's been growing at a fantastic, and frankly, frightening way so far. Given it's open ended nature and very high rate of POS, I would have been quite happy for it to stabilize in the 1K satoshi range. 6 times that scares me, given how much more there's going to be.

That being said, this seems to be one of maybe three High POS coin communities that understands that the POS function is the same as mining, and that more staking coins equals a hedge against rising difficulty or lowering price. This is cool! I doubt that the price can sustain, but then again, I never thought it would get this high.

All of the above militates towards ALL HYP stakeholders holding far more than they sell. Make the price of entry a bit high, even with the high rate of coin generation. This will tend to preserve the value over time even as the supply expands.

Well done, so far, people! This experiment has gone rather amazingly well Cheesy

Crypto markets are volatile. High PoS markets tend to have thin order books because everyone is staking. My suggestion is to buy or sell over several days if not weeks so that you can average out your price instead of play the game of trying to time it exactly right.

agreed with you
unless everyone is willing to introduce HYP to everyone so we can get a new buyer
thats why i introduce and promote hyp in fb ,to all people and my friends through the forums
