I downloaded the wallet.

But, why it keeps out of sync and 0 connection to hyperstake?

Does anyone know what happened?

Windows 7 64 bit.

Thank you so much.

just downloaded as well, wallet been up for 5+ minutes, no nodes yet, going to look back and see if I can find someone to addnode to get me going.  Maybe the nodes are down possibly?

http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/peerinfo

in debug console
addnode add

added a few, have 11 connections after a few minutes.

after a little further research, this forked from trk, wtf, and I sold 10k of it before this happened I'm pretty sure.  Man i had my head in the sand, ugh, this is like qrk2!

Anarchy is not chaos.
Which block & address does the stake interest go into?

What's the best method for combining the stake interest into new blocks?

thanks

that is the 1600-4000 HYP question Cheesy

We've been discussing the "best" strategy since page one of this thread, and I do not believe we've arrived at a consensus. I will say what I think best under a couple of different scenarios.

The first one is my strategy, and it's by no means authoritative. The idea behind it is simple enough: I want to have coins staking every day. I have not yet achieved this goal, but that's part of the strategy.

One, get your coins in to about 4 or five blocks, assuming you have in the neighbourhood of 5000 coins. (I started with less and have just got to this point with my most recent stake)

For my example, those coins are in blocks of 1000, which some here will tell you is below the minimum. That argument has merit, so bear in mind this is MY way, not anything official. I'll deal with the other in a minute.

At the beginning of each day, use coin control to send a block of 1K to yourself for 4 days, leaving you with five days of 1K blocks. Starting approximately ten days later, from my experience, these will stake a block each day. As soon as the stake confirms, recombine them into larger blocks (the full amount of the two new blocks). Repeat the cycle until you have five blocks of 1600.

Then, each time you stake ALL blocks and/or you have 1600 coins in change from minting, combine them into blocks a day past your last stake. Keep this up till you reach 28 blocks. Then, each time you stake, recombine until you hit about 4K per block. then you should get a stake every day Cheesy

The more conservative approach, I suppose, is to combine in to as large of blocks as you can between 1600 and 4000 coins. Again, you probably want to do this over a period of days so that you have a chain of staking blocks, but this will give you a higher chance of staking early in the period. From there, the stategy is still pretty much the same, get as many blocks in a day by day chain as you can, and that gives you a steady income and helps move the chain along for all of us.

i just want to ask...how to merge my coin, i have 3126 coin in my wallet...Smiley

That one I can answer.  Check out https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/13257-splitting-and-combining-blocks-using-coin-control/.  If you still need help after that, just ask. We're a pretty friendly group here.   Smiley

OMG My HYP finally staked after many many frustrating days. 318.82 HYP added to my wallet ! WOW...

Congrats, all good things come to those who wait Smiley

If this block took a while to stake, I suggest you merge the two blocks that got generated. It will mean a likely qiucker stake next time.

Excellent, with HYP nearing $10k 24 H volume according to CMC, I think next goal should be just maintain this level of volume.
I think most ppl that are into high POS coins know that a stable price is more important then regular pump and dumps.
While BTC and other alt coins took a little plunge, HYP and other high POS coins staidstayed very stable.

FTFY. Sorry, I"m a bit obsessive on typos from smart people Cheesy

Anyway, spelling aside, I agree. I've been with TEK for a long time and HYP since it started. In both cases, the level of FUD and stupidity is much lower than a lot of the competition.
It's actually one of the reasons I was initially liked TEK and HBN, the communities were less full of nutjobs and seemed to be at least marginally aware of economic theory.

FTFY. Sorry, I just had to.... it made me chuckle when the typo fixer makes a typo in the same post. You made the same clerical error when you corrected my "loose" last time. At least it put a smile on my face this Friday morning. :-)

I plead lack of sleep! Cheesy Between us, we'll get this shit straight. Glad to be amusing some of the time.

High-PoS is different. Difference scares sheeps away, what is left is people willing to think by themselves.

Protestants after Gutenberg, free thinkers in the 18th century, gays up to the 90's (but not anymore, now that gays are almost mainstream), gothic music lovers in the 70's and 80's... Examples abound and high-PoS is no different.
If the success of HYP continues, expect the SNR on high-PoS to go down. But that's a price I am willing to pay Smiley

what happen with my staking
time to earn reward 1day and then time to earn reward 23 hours,nd then 22 hours and then 1 day again,
always like that,..
is this stuck..

It is based on difficulty, and difficulty goes up and down, so time calculation changes. Also remember this is just a guess. It can't tell you when.

that's why estimated is bolded
