Hey guys ! I have come into a problem. I finally have waited the minimum amount of coin age. Now the problem is it says my coins are not minting. I'm a bit annoyed after waiting for so long to finally meet minimum age and now I get this. I just want to stake and make some coin over here. I have 19k coins staking together I know that they reccomend 10-20k so it should be fine. What is going on please help me ?

Thank you. Good for everyone else very useful. The pity is I only saw it now after my wallet finished downloading the blockchain.

I think the OP should sticky this or add it to the main post so it is easy to find.

Thanks I will give this a try. I'm having issues with many of my wallets. hald work just fine the other half all do the same thing. Connection refused. All was fine till a few days ago. Could this be a DNS setting ? I use a DNS to stream hulu. perhaps I should reset my line and reconfigure my DNS or perhaps turn the DNS setting off and see. I'll let you guys know how it turns out,

Edit: I didn't type the right name for the .config file -_- The issue is resolved.

Thank you I will add those too. Does using connect instead of addnode make any difference ?
I think something funny is going on with my pc. A few other wallets are doing the same thing. Refusing connections. Why all of a sudden ? I guess I should check my security settings.

-connect gives higher priority to the IPs specified and will only try connecting to them. -addnode adds the IPs to the list of peers (of which there could already be hundreds or thousands)

Generally you'd only use -connect if there's an issue and you want to force a connect to a certain set of IPs.

If you're getting connection refused messages then it's possibly something like a firewall. Check both your PC and your router. Fix that problem and your HYP one will probably go away. Smiley

It won't find nodes and I did add them from the website the guy 2 posts above mine told me to add. I found them before I say his message. Still it won't sync.

I am on block 831070 when I run getblockcount

There are plenty of nodes to connect to. Maybe you are running an old wallet version or something and nodes are refusing to connect to you? Any hints from your debug file?

It says the connection has timed out everytime in the debug file. I have version 1.1.3 which is the latest one.
I am not sure what is going on. I added the nodes to the .conf file
I got the nodes here http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/HYP/nodes.php

I have downloaded the newest wallet and deleted those 2 files. I downloaded the bootstrap and put it in the correct folder as well. When I run the QT it just sits at the loading screen and does not get any further.

It could take even one hour for the wallet to load, just wait

"importing bootstrap data file"
It has been like this for 4 hours now.
Should I use the 32bit installer ?

The initial sync can take a while, even with a bootstrap file, because the client is still verifying every block and transaction. The bootstrap is not a ready-to-go blockchain; it's more like a fast local peer.

If you're running Windows, you should be able to find debug.log somewhere around Users\\AppData\Roaming\Hyperstake or similar. Viewing that should give you an idea of the progress.

Yeah if you are looking for a blockchain dump, I believe they have an older one at cryptochainer.com. I always prefer bootstrap because you can be sure that it is completely valid. Unfortunately HYP is x11, which means the hashing that is done during verification is painfully slow.

Edit - also to see how far you are in the bootstrap process you can look at the debug file, it will tell you what block you are on.

So where are the nodes ?
I will try to close the wallet and open it again and look for nodes but it would be easier to get them here.

I left it over night it is now working. The problem is no nodes are connecting so I must add them. So where are the nodes ?
