Not a good idea to invest your savings on bitcoin because you are dealing with huge volatility then might you get panic when market moves in bad direction, so maybe best for you to invest first on knowledge there are so many things we can read up and also try to figure out what skills you have since there are jobs online where you cam generate income so better enhance your skills and earn with it rather than trying your luck on risky situation which you can't handle.
your decision is very right, it's never too late to invest, especially in bitcoin, maybe now the price is quite a bit up, but bitcoin is not at a high price now, now there is still time to invest in bitcoin.

Never see bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme, it’s never like that. Learn to educate yourself about bitcoin, it’s history, and everything that you can find from reliable resources. And make sure you only invest what you can afford to lose, otherwise you will be left broke with bitcoin because you invest all your hard-earned money because if the thought that it will always be profitable.
We must invest suitable funds for bitcoins and not use larger funds because after all investing in crypto has risks and is not a get rich quick scheme, many beginners do not know that and invest funds without minimum limit, they also do not have enough knowledge to learn market potential. If you want to invest in bitcoin, then start with the basics first and DYOR everything you want to learn as they can be very significant once you are already doing real investment with bitcoin. And never expect for quick profits like some greedy people who only invest for money, learn first and then you will know how to make profits with it in the future. Don't "invest" in bitcoin just because the number can go up. Invest in it if you actually think it will go up because you agree/align with the investment theses. Because for every bitcoin-positive person here on Bitcointalk, there will be a skeptic on other social media.

Bitcoin is phenomenal, so it’s a must investment for all of us. One is not late or early, as long as you know what you are doing and you have faith in bitcoin. However, investing in bitcoin has its own risk. You should be knowledgeable on bitcoin first, its background and its history, so you will know what steps to take when you are already investing and hodling bitcoin. But one piece of advice, only invest what you can afford to lose as bitcoin cannot guarantee profits all the time. You are welcome here. Some time ago, just like yourself, there was a woman who registered on the forum from South-Africa. She was a housewife and wanted to do something more than just kitchen stuff. She got good encouragement and guidance from forum members. So you are in the right place. First, I want you to keep an open mind. As much as your money in your piggy bank can be affected by inflation, bitcoin is very volatile and it is not a good hedge against inflation. So make your choice wisely. I see that some resources have been recommended by some users. Go through them, it will help.

Since it is the money in your piggy box which means you will have no need for it any time soon and also according to you, those are left over monies given you by your husband.
You may decide to invest in bitcoin but your good gain will come on the long run. Do not expect huge profit om the short term.
If you can be disciplined and wait for a very long time like 3yrs, your savings may worth as much as you didn't expect it to worth.
How about talk to your hubby to invest and how did you know about bitcoin?
It's never too late to make an investment with bitcoin currently we are facing with the floor price of the 16k to 20 price which is seems nothing more lower with that, in investment you can make a long term to short term investment which is seems like you will go for the long term for your future plans, but of course make sure you don't get carried away too much easily with those market price movement might cause you a losses due to getting fear and it's just only investment but also a risk of your emotions

At least, gain more knowledge about bitcoin first before you start investing in it. Read articles, watch videos, join discussions, or do anything that can feed you with knowledge. You have to be aware of what you are investing, so you'll better understand its risks. From that, you can decide better than just asking if you should.

You should inform your husband and don't ignore him in this case,when it comes to investment both of you should put your heads together,so that he will not feel irrelevant if he discovers by himself,he might also support you with some funds to increase you investment.
