This is why it's important to meditate on the good things you have.  Close your eyes, go blank for as long as you can.  When you come back to conscious awareness it's time to take inventory of the many good things you are blessed to have: you are breathing, you can see/hear/smell/touch, you have food, shelter... perhaps you even have wealth in a modest or even extravagant sense.

Of course, it's just part of life: living and learning.

Just wish I could take my own advice.

Yeah, sometimes I have the same problem.  I wil be up but I get too greedy.   Especially on a winning streak.   Maybe bet smaller from now on.Losing a lot of money like that is a terrible feeling.   Your stomach drops and you feel like crap.   Best of luck to you.

Have you recovered some of the funds after the gambling loss, or you are no longer active?

Sorry for your loss man a substantial amount. I've lost about the same and know how you feel. I'm bitcoin less and don't care anymore about this fad. Welcome aboard the ship of hopeless gamblers.

That happened in Feb. I'm sure OP got over it by now. I don't know why someone decided to dig up this thread

I know, I remember that post from a long time ago. His reply makes no sense.

Most likely he is trying to up his post count

#magicbeans

I made quite  a big loss of 5BTC today. I had 8.5BTC left, and at PD, I made a big bet and won 4BTC. Then, instead of betting the 4BTC, as I usually do so that I won't lose my principal, (I think I accidentally hit max, otherwise it is not possible), I bet my entire balance for some odds (1.4x or so), and Lost!

Just for the info: my total loss = my total earning till date for 2 years here = 17BTC. Sad
Bet IDs 3738681123 AND 3738420804 Primedice

I made the simple mistake of not checking my bet twice, since I was kinda nervous. Sad

So, goodbye guys, I realized that once you lose all your Bitcoins, you will lose interest.

I will probably a few years later. (I am now wishing contrary to what I wished before, that the price will go to some $50 or so, so that I might be able to buy back some and come back here. Smiley )

Goodbye

Yours sincerely
Watoshi Dimobuto aka magicbeans

no one really fully disspears from bitcoin because its just that good  Wink

Not about gambling, but if you get scammed for a 100 BTC, then you will get demotivated to continue.
I found that people with more money tend to be scammed easier that poor people. If you have that much of a money your basic instinct is somewhat asleep and you will get hasty with your money. But from the other side if you have your last money you would not give it away that easily... Lesson learnt.

damn thats pretty unheard of seriously lol.

Stunna being like damn, i feel ya bro, heres back your .1btc loll.

I am sure he wouldnt have had that kind of attitude while giving it back .
What will you do with that 0.1 BTC Watoshi ? Gamble it or withdraw it ?

I think he has left us quite a long time back..the thread is simply going on and on..

what are you talking about, go to the page before this and scroll down. He replied to this thread today very early in the day lollll.

He`s still here, but not gambling i take it.

He's still around because he started a promo campaign for safe dice (escrowed the funds). The promo is still ongoing (to be ended on 20th Feb), so he's just checking/updating on it.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/safedice-giveaway-contest-03-btc-in-prizes-winners-paid-949266

Hopefully when it ends, he'll cool off and will stick around on the forum.

I just saw 0.1BTC in my balance at PD. Cheesy
I think Stunna sneaked it into my account. Smiley

P.S. Only 99.5% of my loss to recover. Smiley

That's generous of him. Did you end up gambling it?
