I bought 3 btc on credit for 19k about. What should I do? I am way underwater.
Just hold it. you don’t have any options instead of holding. Same thing happens with so many people I just want recommend those people don’t get panic due to this suddenly fall just hold it. Right now, this is very difficult time to face situation like this. Have patience and don’t think too much about it. Think positive and hold it for very long time to get back your whole investment.

3 bitcoins at $19,000? Aww! You have no choice mate, stay away from your computer and don't check the price. Get back to it maybe after a month or two and see if the price reaches back $19,000 again. Don't sell until you haven't profited. This is why you invested to bitcoin because you want to earn for sometime but things happened to you oppositely.
Many people have the same opinion because you will lose a lot of money if you sell out now.

There is no better way than you have to keep until the price restores. Many people have the same opinion because you will lose a lot of money if you sell out now.

keep it till btc price reaches 40 or 50k then sell
but it will not happen soon

Theres no reason for the price to rise if everyone just holds like that.   This guy has a good challenge, to find a use for bitcoin.   Overall if there is not utility within bitcoin then why should demand exceed supply in order to make the price rise further.     Im sure it can be done but plain speculation holding and nothing else I'm not bullish on as there is so many alternatives to hold and 'do nothing' with as value.   BTC is about very active economy imo

Keep it until the bitcoin price recover. You shouldn't buy at top, Trading Bitcoin requires to have a full attention on the price and the way it moves. Next time study carefully the chart . Now you have to wait few months (maybe years?)

There are many peoples in cryptocurrecies market buy at high price and sell it at low price. These people lose their money and make the whales reach. They are not patient. They panic when the price falls and sell to not lose more money.

If you want to lose money sell now, but note that since you don't sell your coins, you still have the chance to make profit.

As they say from the fall of the price no one is stuck, wait until the price does not recover to the level at which you bought
One of my friend also bought at that point and he is strongly in support of the price rise and he is saying that it will be his future investment and he say that if he will keep that bitcoin for a longer time with himself then he will get a huge profit from that investment and he has a strong believe that the price will go rise more than that value.

There's so many people buy on that rate and stuck some of them lose and some of them bag hold it but we can still have chances to retrieve it eventhough the dump came since as Bitcoins legacy concern I'm sure on middle nor end year of it Bitcoin will show dominance among all and its proven for so many times by it and provably we can see it pumping again in near future.

Don't end up selling it low on fear. You have got the only choice to pick, just keep hold of it. The market has been gaining potential for a pushing, which could happen any time soon taking the price move in a gradual manner and reach the price higher than the price price at which you made the buying.

You have to pay your credit with your day job and meanwhile try to avarege down your price. thats the only way.
That's probably the best suggestion so far in this thread. Those asking to hodl the coins till whenever, apparently didn't factor the repayment of the credit in their suggestions and it's obvious that cannot wait indefinitely without setting off more problems.

The height of OP's mistakes was in venturing into a business he wasn't well grounded in and the way forward is anything that doesn't add to the pressure already on him. So the best bet is, don't sell now, go get a day job to start servicing the debt and buying time, google is your friend on what and how to go about with averaging, best of luck!

Are you not trolling? Can you show the TXID that you really have bought 3 bitcoin while it was $19,000. Since hashes can be seen on when you have bought it.

Not if he has it lying on an exchange which is very likely if new is new to crypto :-)
He can even show a screenshot or what but anonymity in cryptocurrency will be ignored if someone will show on how much he had in cryptocurrencies so he can ignore my question.

HODL. Hope you have strong hands.
I hope he has. There's still a long way for him to see his investment grow back on what it used to be. This is terrible for someone who has been an enthusiast to cryptocurrency and suddenly this has happened. Lack of knowledge and lack of people who will give him an advice can make him sell immediately.

Hold. You don’t really have a choice.
Harsh reality, he doesn't have any other choice. Selling at any point under 19.000 will be a big loss and once when we see price recovered and over that point he will regret big time.
Don't buy at top, he is just a newbie but he should come here and read before investing money, big money 19k x 3 is 57.000$. He should be more smarter with that amount of money.
People who bought at 1.200$ first time when bitcoin dropped to 200$ waited 2 years, more or less he will need to wait that much.

I suggest you Hold on!

Although the price is now falling, you bought three BTC for $19,000.

The price is now $6,600, and your 3 BTC is not getting any less!

The price will return to $19,000! Maybe more!

If you sell now, you'll regret it!
Well i think there is no other choice than to hold or else you will loss a huge amount .Maybe it is really a verry hard thing to do specially when you always see the price that slowly dropping down almost everyday it is really killing those who invest in the high price to see the present price fall.I think we must believe in bitcoin and it's capability to rise again to avoid stress.
This is what over excitement brings. I can bet that he bought bitcoin without doing any research about it. If he had, definitely things would have been different for him. He would have known that bitcoin falls down during holidays and on big events, a pump can be seen.

Also he would know that after every decline, it recovers and when that happens, a new record is set.  Sooner or later, bitcoin is going to touch 30k dollars this year. A little faith and patience is all that is required.

In the case of you, if you sell, it will probably lose at least 70% of the money spent. The most honest advice for you is to hold Bitcoin and wait until the end of 2018 because there are lots of predictions that the Bitcoin exchange rate will reach $ 50000 and by the end of the year. If so, you will have the opportunity x2 the amount invested.

HODL. Hope you have strong hands. It's a long wait for you. And try to have a stable job for stable earning. I am nt recommending to totally depend on bitcoin. It's too risky.

That's the real thing about bitcoin, you don't know when to go up and when to go down, be wish on investing in bitcoin currency. Undecided

Yeah and that is the risky part. Surely, there is no perfect time to buy but to wait for a cheaper one to lessen the risk. Market is too aggressive at present and there is not much we can do about it but to wait and discover more about it. It kills the bored a bit.

Maybe you are not going to like this but you have made the first mistake when you bought at 19000$. You probably expected the price to reach 25000$ or more but that didn't happen and you're in trouble. To make it simple you invested more money than you could afford to lose. And with money you actually didn't have. Huge misjudgement.
I suggest to hold that what you have, so forget about that funds as long as it takes to get to that value again.

It's important to risk management at this stage, not maximizing gain

You are saying something about risk management to someone who did invest more than he could afford to lose, and most importantly with borrowed money. Actually I think he is a troll because such people would never wait so much and would panic sell much earlier when the price started to go down, especially when you took a credit.

If your interest on the loan is high. Maybe it's better to get rid of at least half your holding...
Problem is we might not see a nice pump at least until 2H of this year whereby you would have paid a lot on interest cost. If somehow bitcoin goes into a bear market, you might lose so much money.
