I bought lots of bitcoins when BTC was at 2K$/BTC...
If I didn't spend most of them I could now be RICH! (or even millonaire)

Don't act like me and try to keep the invests as long as possible, I could have earned LOTS of $ but I earned about 500$ instead.
I can't be angry with myself as I didn't lose anything, but I didn't earn as much as I could have earned.

What are your stories about BTC? What do you think about mine?

Have a nice day

Well, you're story and your confession here in the Bitcointalk forum is a good lesson for us. Well, Bitcoin earning is needed. And i know that many of us wanted to have 20BTC. This is a big big money for us and we can't afford to buy 20BTC for real. I hope that many people will inspire to be an Bitcoin millionaire because of you. Hardwork and patience is our need to have a lot of bitcoins in our wallet.

You do realise if no one was spending and everyone was sitting on their coins, bitcoin would be worth zero and only few guys would know about it? If not for you (and others) who were actively using bitcoins, it wouldn't get to where it is right now.

And if you've spent most of it, then it clearly wasn't a long term investment for you. So it's just another case of "would've, should've, could've". There isn't a single person who didn't miss out on great opportunities to get filthy rich. Whenever you bring a subject of Bitcoin in public, there's always at least 1 guy with "Maaan, I was so close to buying bitcoins in 2010 but I didn't, I would be billionaire today" story.

Don't beat yourself up over this, life goes on.
I don't think so if many people are holding there Bitcoin then the process of increasing the price of it is happening as no one is budging to sell there Bitcoin at that price level. But everytime there is a price increase you know that someone will be willing to take the offer when the price is right. That is how trading works if the supply is being hold by the owners of the crypto eventually many buyers don't have any choice but to increase there offer to make it more attractive to the sellers.

I invest in bitcoin when it costs $5/Btc, and my target has been achieved after selling it at the price of $15/Btc, whether it can be spelled out success or not that would be very satisfactory results for me. Now i'm starting to reinvest again because i see the prices are getting down, and hopefully my target can be achieved in early 2019.
Regarding your story, i think maybe you are too hasty to take the decision to sell the Btc you have. My advice when you start investing determine the target that you want, after the target is reached you do not be affected because of the increasing prices. Because Bitcoin is fluctuating then everything can happen, even every minute can change instantly.

instead of sharing his experience but he tries to invite us to turn our gaze away into the past with a myriad of stories of regret which will only make the pain
stand to go further instead of running backward. of course, the experience is very valuable and from there we can learn something.
the roots of a stronger experience will make the tree not easily rocked by the wind

That’s why I advise people to buy bitcoins the moment they have the funds. No more waiting for the so called “right time”. This is to avoid undue stress on why you didn’t invest on that day, week, month or year when the price was _____ .

your story really serves as a good lesson for newbies out there that when you enter or venture into something, make sure you know what you are doing, i dont know why you bought bitcoin long ago when you dont have the goal to earn profit by selling it or spending it like what you said. maybe you have consider the price changes way back then, but that's it, past is past, you cannot whine forever because of what you have done, buy now and maybe you can still regain your loss in the past, just be patient in terms of sudden changes of bitcoin price.

I was close to investing in BTC at the beginning of last year, but it didn't look tangible to me then. Now I'm faced with reality. However, I don't regret it because I now have a chance of making some good profit from BTC. The way up is BTC.
Let's be real here, of course, you still have regrets about not investing in bitcoin when it is still much affordable. I mean you could've earn way more if you did just that compared now when you realized your mistakes and are trying to cope up with it. The rate that you could have earned if you did at the begging of last year is way higher than the chance you now despite the price of bitcoin decreasing a little.

Many people said the same thing as yours. no one can say that the bitcoin price goes up. all of the person that has the same case to you is decides to sell because they need the money and they gain a little profit. Its no ones fault its time to move on. try to invest again and wait for the outcome

Since you had bought bitcoins when it's rate was $2000,you must have holded it for some more time .My story is that i had been in this bitcoin market from two years ago when it's price was just 650 dollars. But i lacked money to buy more bitcoins at that time.I have already read stories of many people who had sold hundreds of their bitcoins in the early years at cheap rates without knowing its potential.

I could be a millionarire now BUT NOT
I saw bitcoin price reaching $20K then it crashed to below $10K - that was the last time I saw bitcoin trading 4 digits. But everyone at that time said bitcoin might die and it could go to $2K. I didn't buy.
Now bitcoin is at $500K!

At the end of my run with buying off of the silk road, I had about 20 BTC worth about $80 at the time. I sold it and ended up getting scammed on top of that. I still think about it, but I'm over it at this point. Se la vi.

Who could have foreseen that bitcoin would become "digital gold"? But only the supply and demand moves the cost of the crypto currency and we turned out to be small cogs in this grandiose mechanism of the formation of a new world currency.

Lots of my friends are at loss right now as they thought that after reaching to 14000$ point Bitcoin may soon get back to 20000$ and bought many, they are frustrated now and think their money is stuck. If you are not patient enough to wait then better not to invest.

Almost everyone regretted not investing in btc at the end of first half of January 2017,as that's the period where the price actually shot up and set the base for all cryptocurrencies. I wish I had taken a risk, then I could have earned much more in a shorter period of time but it's not too late to trade with it now.

You have to live somehow. Can't live without spending. Still, 2000 is a lot of money. You seem to have lived large.
