I am a 47 year old person, about 10 days ago I created a topic, namely: can a 47 year old person invest in bitcoin?
Yes, I remember reading your thread. Ride on your tenacity.

and at the same time I have advice for people who are the same age as me or older than me, don't give up investing because of age, because age is God's secret.
Not to burst your bubbles or dampen your spirit but I hate to tell you that what you just experienced could've turned the other way with losses. Don't get carried away with your first win. Crypto is a crazy and unpredictable industry.. I hope you won't take it out on your friend or whoever that introduced you to this forum when the loss comes; for it will surely come. To even state my opinion, I don't think we're in the bull season yet. For all I know, this could even be a bull trap.

and today i feel happy because i look at the market and when i see the price of bitcoin it turns out that there is a good increase in price. and at that time I bought it at a price range of 17000 and now I see a price range of 20000.

in some cases, it can be called beginner's luck. it is certainly a good thing for you to personally feel the positive benefit of the increase in the value of bitcoin.
now is the time to think about further moves. You can hold it for a long time, and probably expect a higher price (which will almost certainly happen at some point) or you can close positions and take (or reinvest) only profit.
it's your investment, but don't be too emotional to get attached to any asset, if you think it's a good opportunity, sell/buy...

For those that have invested this year, they would have seen by now why bitcoin is profitable and no further lesson is expected than having the experience by themselves, this is just a little stir and the major isn't yet occuring, wait till the bullrun begins and hodl, this is the major targets investors has with bitcoin.
Its not only this year. How about those earlier, probably they are still grateful on bitcoin despite of its low price right now. I think that OP is overwhelmed with the gains he made. Its not again, about the age but the ability to invest in such coins without budging. I do hope the market continue to recover and ease the pain of some of our retailers.

OP, I'll touch on your age again for a minute. Why does he bother you so much, and why do you talk about him on every topic? How old is the current president of America? Have you thought about the age difference? For him, you are still a snotty kid.
But on the topic, to really enjoy your investment, forget about checking the price of Bitcoin for a while. Set a goal for how long you are willing to part with your money by investing in bitcoin and at what price you will be satisfied with the profit. While sticking to regular investments despite the price, you also need to understand that this time should be two to three years or more, a time when you can receive benefits that will be many times greater than your joy today.

thanks for the advice friends,, but I personally don't really think about the price because I invest for the long term, and I express that I am happy because I see the price. and indeed the nature of bitcoin is fluctuating,
Such emotions are perfectly normal when investing. It is difficult to resist the urge to check the price and to not feel excited or dismayed when the price goes up and comes down respectively.

With more roller coaster of emotions, you will eventually begin to feel more disinterested in what takes place in the price from day to day and instead focus on more long term goals.

AT 47, there is still so much to look forward to and I hope you investments can make you a bit more secure as you enter that new phase of life.

I am glad you appreciate the price fluctuation of Bitcoin, this is just the beginning, you will be in awe after a year or two when the halving commence and the hype of Bitcoin market starts to pile up.  You might find yourself in a surprise that the current surge of Bitcoin will be not in compare when it really surge to break ATH.  But of course you should also be aware that Bitcoin fluctuation does not only include the ups, it won't be called fluctuation if it don't go down.  So better fasten your seat belt and enjoy the upcoming rollercoaster ride of Bitcoin price trends.

Precisely because you are a beginner when investing in bitcoin, you will be disappointed when the price of BTC goes down. You simply will not be able to abstract from the market and every day you will recalculate your losses and think that you could buy bitcoin much cheaper than you did earlier. I wonder if you have set a goal for yourself, at which price you are ready to sell your BTC?

You are happy and at the same time I see that you are a bit short-sighted. When the next price drop comes, will you be sad? I recommend you to look further, much further, to one, two, three cycles from now. With bitcoin becoming scarcer and scarcer, with more and more adoption and therefore more and more demand.

I am indifferent to the price these days. I prefer it to go up, but volatility is inherent to bitcoin and we will continue to see many ups and downs over the years.

Think also about the properties that make it unique, instead of worrying so much about whether it goes up or down a bit.

and I feel happy because I haven't been investing for a long time, suddenly the price of bitcoin has gone up

I can clearly say that I am happy for you. Well, I am also happy to see the trend looks good again. It's a nice feeling, but I am also a bit wary because we're not out of the danger zone yet.
What I want to say is that you should not care so much about this small and short movements. Look on long term charts. The price can continue to go up or can go down again (and can even become scarily low, depending on the price one bought), but that doesn't mean we have to be overly affected by these movements. Again, it's only a couple of days of moving up; that's not much, not yet.
So: keep your cool, don't be neither overly confident, nor depressed by the price movements. Or at least don't take financial decision based on such short-time movements Wink
