, but there is still the unbelievable perfect source code of version 0.01.

If the source code was perfect, we wouldn't be at version 0.10.1 Wink

Looking at the source code, to me, makes it pretty evident who wrote it. One of the main reasons that I am assuming Satoshi left is she was not liking the "godliness" that members of the community we starting to attribute to her.

I find extremely annoying the people who go out of their way to use "her" or "she" instead of "him" or "he". Seriously.

It's especially stupid when Satoshi is clearly a male name.

The only thing clear about Satoshi's name is that it's a pseudonym Wink

Sorry to ruin the idea that your "god" Satoshi is clearly a man.

P.S. Not really, your annoyance shows you are another cog in the worldly wheel of problems.

As expected, pitiful ad hominem attacks based on logical fallacies, and this sense of self-righteousness, thinking you can judge everyone else, calling other people problems without looking at yourself. Thinking you are somehow a better human being by being "fair" and using "she"/"her", despite the fact that the name is a male one.

Quite typical.

Yes, but it's a male pseudonym. As long as we don't have more information about this person, the right thing is to refer to him as a male.

"Satoshi Nakamoto" is likely a made up name as a sign of respect to the people who made Bitcoin possible.
...

Its not a made up name at all. Its a real name, it's just not the creators real name  Smiley

well this isn't known, it could be his real name if he is really one person and not multiple people that have developed bitcoin(i still have my doubt about this)

I guess, Satoshi Nakamoto is not one person. "He" is a group of persons. Look at the different writing styles of him here on the board and the released whitepaper. Probably it has been written by a ghostwriter, but there is still the unbelievable perfect source code of version 0.01.

Look up the Sato-Tate conjecture for example, if you discover the other meanings perhaps just use proofofexistence to log that you've figured it out but don't publish your findings as others may enjoy the rabbit hole.

We aren't meant to know who Satoshi really is and I respect he/she/they want to remain anonymous, this name is a beautifully clever way to make that obvious.

the question is can you prove that Gavin Andresen is not satoshi nakamoto?,well i can! but first you have to make donations even if you dont care ho is satoshi, the story is good and can have a huge impact on the price of bitcoin and thats my goal.

Satoshi Nakamoto is probably someone still posting in here, under a moniker and most likely one of the main usual developers. It was probably planned to not want to have a public creator of Bitcoin to enforce the perception that Bitcoin is no one but everyone.
Yeah, he might still be lurking here, but we can't say. Lol at LitecoinGuy's pic

I don't think he is satoshi, apparently, satoshi didn't want to reveal his identity, we may never know who is him, it's doesn't matter, he already left 5 years, bitcoin is still in development.

I reckon it was a group tbh which is why its been so hard to track down any one person, maybe 1 person did the final work and released a collaboration project.

Why do you not just ask Obama, he carry the secret with him in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_football

When Gavin went to the CIA, he revealed the identity to the CIA and they added the name to the little black book. It's listed just below the line that says .... Who killed Kennedy - ###############

There, now you have a bigger and more interesting conspiracy theory.  Grin

Having the "no one owns bitcoin" thing is very good. Since there is no 1 famous creator of it, satoshi nakamoto is probably a fake name, people think the coin is just made "by the people", as they don't tie one person to it. If the US dollar was not stated it was made by the US, it would be though of the more "world currency", same thing with bitcoin.

who cares. even if he is, he won't admit it. people here have too much free time. what i am interested in is that the developers bring bitcoin to the next level.

What is the next level for bitcoin?  I am curious ?

Would it be made better for buyers using BTC?

How do you think we can upgrade coins so that the public uses them and wants them thus driving the price of them higher.

I think you guys are talking about the 'alert code' key. It is used to send an alert message to all bitcoin clients in the event of an emergency.

^^^^ This  Wink
How is it that an alert emergency key "controls bitcoin"

Exactly. It's not.
