It is actually from an installed wallet. It seems I can insert custom data with transactions. Is that what signing a message means?

Signing a message is using your address to create a message and provide a unique signature that is verifiable using multiple sources to prove that you actually own that particular address. Also, in recovering hacked accounts, a signed message from any address that you may have posted in this forum prior to the hack is needed for you to prove ownership of the account.

Regarding the ETH address that is under you control, is it from myetherwallet.com or from an exchanger? If it is from myetherwallet.com then you can sign a message from it.

It is unlikely that the admins will help you recover your account if you do not have a staked address.
Your best bet is to convince somebody in DT trust that your account has been hacked (possibly through contacting celeborne and verifying the ETH address), then they can give this account negative trust. Then you can negotiate with the person in control of your account to get your account back.

Forum comment made in the following thread will probably have a completely different IP because it was not written by me or from my location: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20032454
As same as all comments after this made with the account.

Hi there,

Loyal bitcointalk user here since April 2013. I've been a while away from the forum, but hours ago I tried to log into my account but that was not possible. I clicked "forgot password", entered my mail but nothing arrived at my mail address that was used for the account "Frost". At that point I wondered if my account would be hacked and opened the profile: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/frost-94117

It was now clear that my account is hacked. Profile picture was changed from a Curt Cobain photo to picture with the logo "Social". The person was active on August 20, but that was not me. I looked into the account and saw tons of new posts that I didn't write.

Most of my last posts were made in this thread when I bought two GPU's: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19512302
Everything after this was not written by myself.

I used the account for both, communication about cryptocurrencies in English threads and German threads. Which means, I do write fluent German as I am German. I wonder if the new account holder can do this too.

Isssue is that I didn't sign an address with this account. Using the wayback machine, there are two addressed linked to my account, however I don't control the keys, which means they were addresses from platforms, not from a wallet. I must have been stupid back then in 2013 and should have put in addresses that I control.

I see some possibilities to proof that I am original account owner...

- I can show you a topic reply notification mail from the forum related to the  thread were I made my last posts: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19512302

- A mod/admin contacts the user celeborne https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/celeborne-965120 who sold me the two GPU's. He must have PM'd me his Ethereum address where I did send him the Ethers for the 2 GPU's. Since I still control this wallet, I could send a transaction from it again with custom data included.

- I contact the new account holder and hope that he gives my account back. I assume he bought the account in the forum. Sadly it's a hacked account, and I was the owner previously.

- My log ins must have been from German IP's until the posts where I bought the GPU's. After that the IP's might have changed because the new account user might be from another country.

- I still control the previous email address from the provider @alice.de

Please help me to get the account back. I've been loyal user since 2013 and would be happy to get the account back.
