hold for now because eth prices are very low. you can sell it when the price is stable again. or when the price passed the highest price last year. or another option you can divide it into several coins like btc, xlm or the other.

I think you've probably sold 250 ETH in January or earlier. January's ETH price has reached $ 1200 and there's no reason you can keep it too much profit. If you sell then you are now more than 250ETH if you have bought them.
t's so interesting to look at similar topics when the coin was still very cheap. I hope the guy did everything right and got his profit. As far as I remember in August, ETH cost almost 300 dollars.
I will suggest that you continue to hold this amount of ethereum until the market recover fully from the bear but if you are in urgent need of money, you can sell some part of it and and hold the rest because I believe when the market recover, the price will grow very high.
I would not have sold coins today. It seems to me that the price is very low. I am confident that the market will go up soon and you will have a chance to sell coins more.

For me, HODL is becoming a big meme. Try to ride the waves on good solid coins. The main ones that seemed to show promise are the ICOs with great organisation and idea, as opposed to the best marketing strategy. ICOs like Rentberry bring the ideas of long-term leasing to the blockchain and Eterbaase brings the idea of a great compliant exchange with a new algorithm in this blockchain trading scene.
Usually, the problem with ICOs is the fear of people thinking "will they actually follow up on these ideas?", or the commitment of the team to the project. To me, pick teams that are transparent on social media resume sites etc and this wont be a big of a problem.
250 Ethereum is a very big figure. I think you can wait a bit or you can sell a few different coins to invest more.

250 ETH is really a huge amount of ETH, if I were you I'd wait for the market to be bullish again. Maybe sell around $1000 price range. It depends if you need the cash or you can wait a bit longer.

Looking back to the Aug 2017, the price was pretty same like today price. So it is up to you, can sell your Ethers (if you still holding) with no or small profit. Or if you believe that we are at the end of downtrend you can continue to hold and maybe price will be more interesting to sell your Ethers.

WOW. So, you do not trade, do not exchange some of your ETH for the other altcoins, and just hold all this time? You must be a VERY patient man. I respect you but I would better think about being more active.
You can sell all your coins if you buy it at the high price (from 700$ upwards ) then you wait for a reasonable price (around 300$) to buy it again or move this money to buy bitcoin . I think altcoin price will have a strong dump before it goes up again.
