With so much Eth, I would have sold and diversified my investment in some promising ICOs, mainly in projects from the TOP-10.
You can either HODL or you can choose a coin that has far larger growth rate compared to ETH.
Personally I would HODL first and keep a lookout on real potential coin and do some thorough calculations on whether it is worth to port over

In the best case, you just need to keep these funds, if you still want money to bring money, then you need to be able to trade or still invest in projects, I think you do not need to explain how to do it, just read about the Contract Vault project, I'm sure that to you it will be interesting.
The rate of the Etherium is now very low, so selling them now is not profitable. You should wait. I think the Etherium rate will be much more than now at the end of the year.
I would keep the money until the next rapid growth. And then you can think of selling the money, until you can not panic and rush with the sale.
If you want to have pasif income just hold it in afew month, the price of ETH very possible to going up again to the $1200 . But if you want to get more profit you can use half of that for altcoin trading, but this is need skill and times to get profit. And if you trade on pair altcoin with ETH will be more safe doing short trading by take profit between 10%-30% pertrade so the amount of your ETH will increase with lower risk.
If you invest in other projects unsure, I suggest continuing to hold ETH, which will bring you steady growth. If you can take some risks, I suggest that you invest part of your investment in ICO, which may give you a higher return.

for the best thing to do then if your eth the better you hold it long ago and go back to the 5years sure the eth was so good and buy more eth because it's still low then buy and hold that
I congratulate you on having such capital! But I think that you should continue to work in this area and invest in new, promising projects, this brought more profit!
I would personally wait, because by the end of the year the price of Ethereum may be double. Or maybe you invest some of them (10% - 15%) in some other coin.

You can choose to hold one part and change the other part to other coins, such as ada, dash, bto, neo, etc. There may be greater benefits.

You are lucky to have huge quantity of ETH,i think when this thread posted the value of ETH may be low but now ETH stands at $710,you can imagine your return.Multiply your ETH quantity with current value and find out how much profit you earned now.ETH price after Sep-18 would further escalate because improvements will be done till that time and it will lie around $2k-$3k,so i think you should hold to get higher profit like BTC.
I think, you will not only earn money but also lose some, especially if Vitalik Buterin decides to give up working with ETH and starts working with EOS, which is still cheap and very good from the technological point. Be careful! Sell some and purchase something else.
I would keep it in ETH given that it is a strong contender to overtake bitcoin for the number 1 spot this year or the next. I would also consider some other blue chip or potentially blue chip cryptocurrencies, but ETH is a good foundation to have.
