There have been lots of suggestions on where to place your $50 but most are general so i'll concretely suggest placing your investment into an exchange and trade it for an altcoin with growth potential, specifically, I would suggest investing in Litecoin (LTC). This is just my opinion but do your own research and you should see the potential of LTC. Its a better version of bitcoin that will soon be integrated with newer technologies such as smart contracts, lightning network, etc.

Just do more research on LTC and you will see its potential. It is currently pretty undervalued.

Good luck!
Most of the suggestions were general because mostly people hesitate to give any suggestion to someone for the reason if things went wrong, they will be considered guilty of it. I think the LTC is not suitable for the 50 dollars trade. You should better get some study of the alts by yourself. You will find many options in it.

You don't need to rush yourself in doing the actual trade, in fact, so if you are new to this world
You need to be patience first and need to start from the scratch for you to learn about trading. Now having a 50$ and where to
Invest my advice to you is invest it to xem, bay, maid,  and icobid.

The best way I could suggest is trading. In the recent days found digicoin pumping high, as the value of a single coin is quite low you could get a good number of coins and make profit out of it by the next price pumping. The value is pumping quite often so that you can get at least a small profit or else just analyse and buy a coins with small value and hold for a long time period.

Will you think trading with 50$ in altcoin trading possible? If yes, please the provide below the concern site information first and then check about it. I will suggest him to try on sports betting or slot roller in gambling it may give feeble returns for his investment. It depends on the half luck and strategy factor with this.

lol yeah 50$ probably wont be in any platform's minimum qualification. might as well play it on dice and hope 3 to 4 good rolls first before you ebter trading because that's where you'll really grow your money. or try to deposit money and buy btcs. though I don't think now is the right time for that

Starting trading with capital of $50 is more than fine, but suggesting them into highly manipulating altcoin seems not good suggestion imho.

Traders are simply following volumes just to pick their trading pairs. But it will not work all the times as insiders may trap at any time. But being a high-risk traders, I guess they can go for trading them. Because it is just do or die scenario. But I will never recommend them.

Seriously following pattern of altcoin price movements according to bitcoin fluctuations and making use of corrections will be leading to make good profit out of $50 capital. But altcoins are always vulnerable to fall down, we all need to keep it in mind always.

First, you can replace your money on 2 different exchangers and find profit from their price, example poloniex to bitrex. Trade your money from dollar into bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Maybe if don't want waste time try to mining with minergate and hashnet. Choose one from my advice and do your best but of course, there's risk for all activity. Read some web/ blog about invest and join a group to solve invest problem. Hope you can make decision about right invest for you money. Good luck.

If you are new to trading then its a good investment to make in altcoins that holds lower price but you should invest in any particular coin only after reading the news related to it and if you find that it has an ability to grow in future then you can invest in it and wait for the price to go higher.

How altcoin trading or investment would good than bitcoin, both would consume same amount in your investments but will allow make it double as price rise in the chart.
Now all the btc news about bitcoin adoption only so blindly you can invest on bitcoin.

We are going through positive news about bitcoins that price will rise in future but those are only speculations as anything can happen in future and no one knows what exactly will happen in coming days so risk will always follow you when you are investing in any crypto currencies.

Best one can suggest at the moment is choose a legit wallet, exchange funds for bitcoin and keep them in wallet. Next go and explore the bitcoin and blockchain world. With time being, you will able to find many more ways to earn bitcoin. Keep earning bitcoins and adding them to your wallet. Gradually, you will be able to make a consistent rise in both the quantity as well as value of your bitcoin.

$50 is actually a very small amount for investment. So don't expect getting big returns from your small investment. You could try investing on alt coins, but since you are new to crypto-currency you shouldn't actually do that unless you know what you are doing.

Try investing on legitimate casino like crypto-games.net. You won't be making huge profits though. Just few satoshis. But you might enjoy watching your small investment going up little by little. Smiley
I also think that having an investment on a capital of 50 dollars is actually small. But it does not matter if you will tart on small scale investment because the success of a chosen investment depends on how you will going to manage it. You need to work hard and give your full dedication on a specific investment because we all know that all investment have risk so to lessen the risk we should do our part to do our best and to set goals and to earn. I agree on making small investment to grow because all big thing is always start on a small things.

Good way to grow it is to be an active investor or a trader, you start with a small amount of money so you need to be very aggressive if you want your money to take you further, there are a lot of players in the community where were able to manage to grow their money in a short period of time so I believe you can if you choose the best method to generate money.
An investor does not need to be active in the case he is dealing with bitcoins. But continuous monitoring and updating knowledge on bitcoin related stuff are always recommended.

$50 must be a perfect amount to get into crypto world but it would have bought double the benefits if OP decided to act some 6 months back itself. But buying some bitcoins and saving them in cold storage for few years are the thing I prefer to do if I were the OP. I do not want to get struck with altcoin trading with only $50 capital.
Yes investing in bitcoin with $50 does not needed any kind of activeness for bitcoin to become profitable because if you are holding it for long term then there is no chance for you to be active because you just needed to be active you are planning to buy again. Long term investment is just like one time payment and just keep holding it for a few years to get a lot of profit.

Investing only $50 of bitcoin for long term is a waste of time. You won't gain any significant profit either. Better put that $50 into some ico for 2x or 3x speculation or use that $50 as a starting capital to trade. Search for a large volume coin and trade daily.

Yeah $50 is too small amount to invest in bitcoins and to make profits from it you have to wait for a very long period of time and even after waiting longer you cannot expect huge profits from it so the best thing would be to invest that money in cheap altcoins who has potential to grow in future.

You tell that you have 50$ but it's low amount for invest. i think you can earn with 50$ invest. if you know about coin currency you can trade. if you want to trade first you follow alt coin. other you can like revenue share site that earn limit profit. it's not risky.

Trading on altcoin is more riskier compare on bitcoin so IMO invest on bitcoin is wise move since bitcoin has decrease at the moment, so it's time to BUY !
I'm sure bitcoin will reach $ 2000 before 2018
Well, we don't know which decision that has been taken by him but $50 still a good amount even though it is not so much.
Buy bitcoin at cheaper price and sell it at highest peak should profitable for the beginning, but you have to predict it precisely based on news and speculation. Then, trading bitcoin-altcoins could doubled your capital within a month, it won't be so easy and a lot to learn about.

I never invested in ICOs, it looks too risky for me and I don't see most of them being successfully, I see many ICOs failing and people complaining about it... If it's possible to have 4x initial investment profit it's very good, but I doubt a bit it's possible with a decent chance of success. Another options can be safer, but bringing a lower profit on short term.

You have a thinking like that since in the first place, you took that system having a too much risk to the point that you think many of the projects today are a failed one. If you will just look at the brighter side of the picture, that is the challenge here. There is no easy money here at least make some wise actions to deal with this kind of system and have a guts to take all the risks that will you faced.

To add in the first place, why deal with the project that obviously a failed one at first look at the start?
