I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Dear community. Has this also happened to anyone? I was trying to connect my trust wallet to  pancackeswap but it return error every time. Then I went to pancackeswap website and clicked a link to their telegram group and joined. I immediately received a phone call and I explained my problem. I was sent a link to troubleshoot the problem: www.app.walletimports.com and followed the procedure. I didn't know it was stealing my secret  key because I believed that pancackeswap is a reputable company. They stole my 0.055 BNB. Be careful with that telegram group.
You may not like it but scammers like that are part of the market and are always trying to look for an opportunity to earn some easy money, this is why you must not trust anyone with information that could give them access to your coins, it does not matter what they say or who they try to impersonate, do not give that information away, because the moment you do so then that is the moment you will lose your coins and you will never see them again.

Scams like this have often happened and scammers know which members can be cheated, the safest thing for us is always to keep the wallet and don't be too easy to connect, study it first and if in doubt it's better to leave.

On the off chance that you experience such way when it comes reaching support better to get out quickly while its not late to forestall hacking. Pancakeswap is a legitimate organization the reason is your obliviousness on giving your private key and joining an informal message bunch. You need to re-check the site that you made, companion, since this can influence your next exchange.

Once a man, twice a child!
This happened to almost all crypto newbies I know I'm sorry for your loss now I believe you've learnt your lessons, no one will DM you for legit reasons it's always scam DMs, here are other things to look out for

1. Don't run after what's not yours, when you see unknown tokens in your wallet address it's a scam, they will trap you once you try to sell the tokens, just ignore the tokens you don't know anything about

2. Use coinmarketcap to get the real tokens and coins websites and contract address and always disconnect your wallet from any connected Dex or website after purchase is been done
Your first paragraph should also have been numbered too because it contains viable advice. In every crypto telegram group, the mods and admins always have that tag of "we won't DM you first". It's a policy thing for projects because they know that a lot of scammers are on the loose seeking whom to devour. But I've seen a lot of peeps not reading at all. Most times they ask questions whose answers had been answered by the poster right before them. Yet, they won't know because they don't read.

In same manner, I find a lot of strange tokens in my Trust Wallet that I didn't buy. I get to see the tokens only when I run a bscscan on my wallet. Without that, I only see the tokens I bought myself. So, do I chase or try to claim those strange tokens? Of course, not. I know doing that will lead to a wallet hack. But I know a lot of people fall for that kind of scam. It's greed that leads to that. If you didn't buy it, don't attempt to claim it. It's a gimmick that will eventually get your wallet hacked.

Number 2 is the right way to go. Always follow projects by getting their links through CG or CMC where they're listed, and not through a back door.

I don't know how many people do this but I believe it is a better way to get to any exchange be it DEX or CEX. I will always go from the exchange link on Coinmarket Cap or Coingecko. This way I believe I am connecting to the right exchange and have that bookmarked for future use. I hardly connect to any lint from telegram it is from the Admin and getting a call instantly was even suspicious. Sorry about your loss.

You as a full-time Member on bitcointalk should ought to have know by now that you were escorted into the lionsden, you had the chance to block and repot he spam the moment you received a called from stranger but you went ahead to click on a mysterious link.
You will see, it's Bodly written on their Telegram group that they have no support outside the chart, Infact all your problems should be discussed on the group as there are many impersonators claiming to be an admin. Next time, don't entertain any messages or calls from unknown admin.

Binance #Smart World Global Token

It is quite unfortunate that there are many scammers who are taking advantage of many people in this industry. And these scammers are very creative on finding ways and means to get their victims. I am one of the victims too...having lost my BAKE tokens from my Trustwallet and until now I could not still fathom how the scammer was able to withdraw the tokens because I am already aware to never share the private key to anyone...the big fault I made was not having the password set-up for the wallet which Trustwallet do also require the same for every transaction. a big lesson for me and for all of us to do everything to safeguard all of our digital assets...and lately I saw many tokens just entered my wallet for no reason and now I know those are scams too.

You were scammed for $30.00 USD (0.055 $BNB). As far as crypto scams go, you got off extremely lightly. I hope you learn from this and do some research on how to stay safe in the crypto world before you go any further.

1st tip: The Binance world is the home of the most scamming by far. Find a new pond to play around in.

2nd tip: never use the compromised account / wallet again. The scammers own it.

3rd: DO NOT USE THE DEVICE AT ALL that you installed the bogus app on for anything important. No banking, no financial apps, no important personal data, etc. The scammers almost certainly have installed malware alongside the fake app (you gave them permissions to intall an app and link your wallet) and likely own that device.

You need to completely wipe that device, it's operating system, and reinstall everything from scratch.

A good place to learn about crypto FOR FREE is "DAN Teaches Crypto". Their security and safety lesson is about 1 hour, and well worth the time investment. Judging by this posting, you ought to do the whole free course.

Good luck.

can you give us a link or picture of the telegram group so that we are also careful because currently there are many fake telegram groups disguised as the original pancakeswap group...

It makes no sense to publish fake groups here, since someone will definitely follow these links and may lose money. It is much easier to learn how to correctly identify the original website and social networks of the project using Coinmarketcap data.
All you do need is common sense but there are people who do really lack this kind of thing which would really be resulting on losing money.Everything which turns out to be good to be true then better
have doubts on dealing or transacting with it because it is mostly a scam and also  dont believe easily with those groups if we do consider on how rampant the scams are
which had been using up these messaging platforms and other means then you would really able to save up your ass up on these conditions.

The call you received was never from pancakeswap. You got hijacked by the scammers but never you got to realized until the operation became successful. Be wary of TG communities as there are too many rippers there.

Indeed now more and more lively fraud via telegram and also gmail, this is what we need to be aware of because they just want to try to deceive us in any way just for the sake of getting our personal data.
I've also had an incident like what you said but I realized it myself because it was just a scam. What's more if it's dealing with our crypto wallet, it must be guarded as well as possible.

Telegram has been the most used avenue by scammers to perpetuate their dastardly activities, scammers cloned binance Telegram group and used it to scam unsuspecting newbies, it's a pity the OP fell for this kind of trick probably the OP joined a cloned pancackeswap telegram group created by scammers unknowingly gave out private keys to the wrong hand, a further research or enquires using google would have resolved that issue of not connecting the two wallets.

Sending a DM is the easiest method we can avoid if we are vigilant, when we want to connect a wallet, make sure to look for a lot of information, currently the easiest way for scammers is to send BSC or MATIC tokens by including the address on the official site so people will be interested in going there.

Be wary of people who send DMs on telegram, when we type problems in the group, many will try to solve it, but rest assured it is scammers who are trying to steal our assets with various methods, and I often get DMs like that asking for fees for transaction fees, connection to wallet and so on.

Please check the trustworthiness of the links before clicking on or connecting the wallet to unfamiliar websites. When you want to use pancakeswap, you can find the exact link on Coinmarketcap. As for the link you provided above, it's a scam site, there are always crooks ready to steal your money in any way. Be very careful before connecting the wallet and never reveal the private key

I have heard of Emails, messages but which one is the phone calls again. So sorry that you fall a victim though and this will also allow others to learn from your example.
If it was a DM I could easily recognize it as a scam. But with a phone call I had no time to think clearly. But I have learned a lesson.

You have been scammed, all the official teams from the telegram project will definitely include it (not DM first), so if you receive a DM from anyone without you ever asking, then it is scammers, when your wallet is connected to the site they provided, they have recorded the private key and they will take anything there, of course this is a valuable lesson for anyone not to believe in DM first.
