It is our responsibility to cross check before we make any payment. Atleast you've got scammed of small amount which is around $30 in present value of BNB. There are people who've got scammed of big money. From the description it looks like you've got into a phising site and has used scammer group's telegram support. You need to be careful, because no support will request to send amounts in BNB or in any other form to solve issues.

In most cases they initially take control of the wallet and further request for deposit of funds to retrieve the wallet from their control.

Dear community. Has this also happened to anyone? I was trying to connect my trust wallet to  pancackeswap but it return error every time. Then I went to pancackeswap website and clicked a link to their telegram group and joined. I immediately received a phone call and I explained my problem. I was sent a link to troubleshoot the problem: www.app.walletimports.com and followed the procedure. I didn't know it was stealing my secret  key because I believed that pancackeswap is a reputable company. They stole my 0.055 BNB. Be careful with that telegram group.
I don't think you need to post that link here but you can send Tx from wallet stealing your BNB I never trust anyone DM me I think you should be careful and you can learn from this experience, Next make sure you look at the links and detailed information before connecting the wallet to the website.

your experience is a lesson for others, indeed many unknown people send links in the name of pancake swabs, but don't rush to click on the message because the link is phishing to move the contents of your wallet that is connected to their wallet, I can't comment much about the case you are experiencing because it is clear that the scammer is in the name of pancakeswab, you should create another wallet to transfer the remaining assets you have before being drained, obviously pancakeswab will not send you a link before you join one of their projects,

~But I am wondering that I got the telegram link from the official pancackeswap website which led me to a scammer!
You should have not been too naive. Just because some things have the word "official" doesn't mean you should trust all of their bullshittery. Even if you got the first link from the legit PCS site, it's not meant for a support service, even themselves has stated that they didn't offer any single support system. The Telegram group they offer is just mainly run by the community.

You can see full detail about it on here: Customer Support

I wanted to report the incidence to cyber crime  authorities but when I wanted to provide the chat we had as an evidence I found that they have deleted it!"
I think that even if you have proof, it is still uncertain whether they will proceed with it or not and so does the chance of they can trace back the scammers. Well, I believe that there is nothing you can do but to learn more about cryptocurrencies spaces better, by that, you have the knowledge and the experience about what to do when you encounter problems. I suggest you should read this security thread collection: Beginners & Help Encyclopedia: Security

Many scammers on Telegram it is so shameful,  they have advanced to the level of calling people's number now! Unbelievable, it is unfortunate you have to go through this terrible ordeal,  next time don't entertain any calls or pm from anyone except you contact an admin first,
Telegram is so insecure I don't know how the devs can get rid of these scammers.

Yes, Telegram has been the den of scammers, for a long time now. Next time, OP will know what must be done whenever this will come up again. It’s just unfortunate that he had to through such to learn this. I also think that the link provided was use for phishing, which is another lesson to not click links provided right away, especially if someone you do not know or did not have any contact before.

Sorry for your loss but I am afraid that there is nothing you can do about it. Scammers will always try to impersonate a legit company/person to gain your trust. Telegram can be a good source for chatting and finding information but it is also a gold mine for scammers...

It's a shame you were caught in this classic scam even on the accusation board there have been lots of reports of phishing sites in the name of Pancakeswap, but you might panic or be in a hurry so you get trapped and lose some money in BNB so be more careful next time because phishing sites always have many ways to convince their target to trust them more.
This has been your experience, I hope that in the future it will not happen again and for all beginners, you must still be careful.

Sorry bro you may have been scammed by just a member like you on the telegram group. This is unfortunate because you acted very fast without patience. Telegram groups have admin and they are responsible for such help. I believe pancakeSwap has admin working for them and responsible for challenges. They should have there names on the pin message and against their names on the telegram group. Sorry you may have been scammed by someone else that is not pancakeSwap. I hope you get it resolved , sorry.

"Admin will never DM first" this is a golden rule when you are using telegram. There's a lot of scammer waiting for user like you to trick you that they are and you to go on shady website to fixed your problem. Admin will never let you connect your wallet on a website didn't belong to the project itself in your case PancakeSwap. You will receive lots of scam PM everytime you post a question to your wallet.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you already learned your lesson from this.

One must be always very careful when an unknown person gives the link to click. You must be double sure when clicking links from an unknown person it might be a hacker impersonating someone else. I might feel the hacker spoke to you as a Pancakesswap support executive and you have been trapped by him. Even don't try to connect those coins that are in your wallet as a free airdrop. Always double-check the website you are accessing or connecting your wallet. Many newbies scammed like this in the starting we all learn this by our bitter experiences.

Telegram. No. That is the home of the scammers. Their reputation is being wrecked by those evil minds.
To your problem, it is your mistake. Whenever someone pm's you, checking the credibility of it should be the first thing on your mind. By clicking links like you said, yes perhaps you were redirected to the right support of Pancakeswap but it doesn't mean anyone who will pm or call you is from their office. It could be anyone who saw your query and you became a target. You can just jot this one in your experience lists and create a new account.

Im so sorry to hear that. You should check the telegram account that shared the link before clicking on it. Whether the admin/official account of the group or not. Many fake accounts on telegram trying to scam in various ways. We have to be careful to avoid scammers

I got the telegram group link from the official pancackeswap website!

You received a link from scammers who read about your problem in Telegram pancackeswap. Scammers very often impersonate group admins and in order not to get caught in such a scam, you should have written to the admin yourself, who is listed in the pinned message of the group.

How sure are you that you're on the right site? As we all know, Telegram is the usual platform that scammers are using nowadays so you should double-check every site that you're using. I'm sure that they asked for your personal information including your private keys. I guess it's a lesson learned for you. Being scammed is too frustrating but sometimes, it happens for a reason.

I don't know if you just mispelled it here in this post but you are writing pancakeswap with an addition "k" so you wrote "pancackswap" this could have also been the reason why you have been scammed or why you landed on the wrong website when you tried to connect your wallet. I can imagine that this is all part of the scam system. You go to the wrong website then of course your wallet connect doesn't work then you get a message that you need to join the "scam" telegram group and in this telegram group it says that you need to contact the phone support which tells you to do stuff so they get your tokens.

That is one of many ways that scammers will do to trick users. I have experience can not access PancakeSwap but then I do not force myself to keep trying to access the exchange and make sure my internet connection does not have any trouble. Maybe I will wait for 5-15 minutes before I access it back.

I never knew if PancakeSwap has a telegram group so I do not know about that. Actually, you should feel strange and suspicious when someone phone calls you and suggest you send the troubleshoot to a different website instead of sending it to the PancakeSwap website directly. In this case, you can not do anything as your money is already sent to them. I am sorry to hear you lost. I believe you will make a big profit in the future.

The fact that they called you is already suspicious enough for me. Pancake swap is a reputable exchange so there's no way they'd scam that much and ruin their integrity. Are you sure the one who called you are really the support though? or just impersonating supports?

Be careful next time though. Don't answer calls from someone saying they are from support because they are most likely a scammer. It's customers who calls the support.

Trusting all sorts of telegram spammers is very harmful to your safety. Just by asking a question about something in the chat, all sorts of well-wishers are immediately trying to help you. They write in a personal as if they are admins and solve any issues. I had a lot of such offers and be very careful.

Op, I believe it's good that the amount of money you lost is not very significant because it could have been much worse. Are you sure you joined an official telegram group chat rather than some chat created by scammers? Just by a simple act of googling, I found this list of groups and channels. They do have a Telegram group chat, but they write down many times that the admins won't ever DM you (I believe same goes for calls by extension) and that the chat is for announcements only (not troubleshooting). So it looks like scammers simply join the chat, seek for people in trouble, DM them as official representatives, guide them to basically providing all their wallet access info via a website that allegedly helps recover the money, and get the money from the actual wallet, using the data the victims entered, themselves.
