The author of the post right. Since the currency is really formed by whales, who wield their investments. Transferring capital from one coin to another.

Selling off and making instant gain better than holding long for pump is not sure will ever come. Scammers now allover crypto community and the only to play save is not to trust any project that much, sell off and make instant gain.

With recent events in crypto currency trades since January 2019, I have learnt to cash out

Crypto currency long term hodl is very good and rewarding no doubts
But we are at a stage where crypto is formed by whales and the money controllers

With the persistent pump and dumps by the whales; crypto is like a game at the moment
Yep I agree, and it's supported by the fact that most of coins / tokens on the market are not really feasible and only a hype. Let's say utility tokens, majority of them are currently not usable and the price are almost just a hype and controlled by supply and demand on the market. However, blockchain is not currently a new thing and still in development progress. Later, I hope those utility tokens have real use based on their platforms.

Well sometimes you have to cashout and after buy again, like on bitcoin you could make some extra coins if sell at 5500 and buy at 5100 again, most of people do trades and get a good profit.

I agree with you and think that holding is not always the best way. But during the red times, you have an awesome opportunity to invest, because the prices are really great and will bring you more benefits in the upcoming days.

With the persistent pump and dumps by the whales; crypto is like a game at the moment
At the moment? It's always been like this, whales have always manipulated the market just so they can profit from it, the ones that the take hit from those massive swings in the prices are the peasants like us who can't do much about it other than discuss it in crypto-related forums.

To a lot of people, crypto, especially the altcoin market, has become a 'gamble', some will gamble their money in some altcoin expecting for the pump to dump, if it doesn't work out, they simply move on and find another coin to gamble their money expecting big profits. You've learned to cash out, that's good, now you need to learn how to time the right moment to cash out.

The fluctuating of price of cryptos could linked to so many factors. Sharks & wales, governmental factors, scam projects etc. Scam projects, once biting twice shy; Government factor, some investors are scared that government might finally clamp down on cryptocurrency while sharks and wales, due to some manipulations some already investors are pulling out their funds to reducing losses. I think these factors are responsible for the fluctuating prices of the markets.

the most important thing is the right time. not how many whales are pumping or dumping, as long as we can find the right time, we will never fail. those who fail are those who are affected by rumors and force to enter the market even though the situation is not possible.

Crypto is clearly like a game played by whales, but we also need to be able to see good moments so we don't experience losses, and finding the right moment is very difficult because it requires strong analysis and solid predictions, and also requires experience mature ones.

If you are good at finding the tops and bottom of the price movements then definitely you can make more profits than long term holders. But it has more risks as well than holders so you have to decide which one can be best for you more profits with more risk or no effort and decent profits by doing nothing.

I think crypto market is maturing slowly but surely and we will see massive volumes and stable growth in next 4 to 5 years so market will finally come out of whale control and as a result speculative trading will decrease as well.

You are a 100% right about Crypto been like a game for now,  I don't miss any opportunity to cash out, had an experience about a particular coin that I was supposed to get $195 if I trade but I didn't and as of now it's not even worth $30 again

Brilliant idea friend but I hope you still have some to hold? Don't sell all your coins since crypto is unpredictable it will be a stupid move, but for those who have no other way to earn money or part time real jobs it will be better to take out of your profit to sustain yourself and keep joining  airdrops too, I've been able to live on airdrops since I usually join up to 10 different airdrops in a week

Game of whales and pump and dumps? if you have learnt to cash out, you did good. The market recently fell and a big amount has been wiped because of some issues. But this doesn't mean that the market will go lower than expected and if you don't have plans to get back, it's up to you. And no one will force you to change your mind but I think that time will come and you will change your mind to get back when the market starts to get on the track and bullish run.

The only reason or goal why investors and trader do holding is the big rewards that they will earn. Cryptocurrency are very unstable and we all know that whales can really manipulate the market and even the price.

It is important to know how to return to FIAT at the right time and amount of investment. And yes, the crypto investment is always risky.
Actually, investing in any kind of cryptocurrency are very risky and we can't do investment without any risk. If you are risk taker you are capable to invest in any kind of crypto simply because once you take the risk there will be a chance that you could get good rewards. I have been investing in crypto for a couple of months and right now I keep on holding it.

It applies to so many coins coming from ICO and some on stable coins, you must know where your exit point, because of the whales controlling the scenarios you might be late to sell your coins, this has been the issues for those who can't keep up, they are left as bag holders.
