You must learn to study projects yourself and do not trust the recommendations of other participants or can lose your money. Unfortunately many inexperienced investors can recommend shitty projects.
It is not a good idea to start your journey with investment in ICO. Because it is the cost of their own funds, which are limited and in case of collapse you will lose your livelihood. Start with the bounty or something.

Honestly, I am not a fan of ICO's in the market today, because there are lots of scammers out there. But seeing your ICO's whitepaper I think its a good choice. As a reminder my friend, just be more cautious on what investment you will be making because there are tons of ICO's today are not legit which they will take your money and run away.
Currently, the number of ICO-funded projects is too much and that makes investors feel very confused with this market. But for myself, I invest in ICO projects as a picture very good at this point. There is a good way to check for a good ICO project in many scam projects in the cryptocurrency market.
You will not sell your coins if you are not getting any profit. So it depends on you if the coin is not profitable for you then hold it for a while until it goes and become profitable for you just analyze well. And if the altcoins you hold is very profitable for you and then take that away.
I think it's better not to invest in projects where KYC is not needed. For me, such projects are questionable.
