You sold car owned by your girlfriend and you will hold ethereum until 2028, it is easy with other peoples money, have you consider to sell your car to buy ethereum? It is cheaper than it was when you bought it, would you buy it now too?
no.. i didnt sold my own car, just because i didnt have one. the only thing i did, was put ALL My money, plus a loan from my bank (ING direct), plus money borrowed from other 5 persons (3 friends, mom, sister). i would seel everything i dotn really need to survive right now.. (food, home..) this is sacrificing a actual wellness for a greater wellness in the future.. thas called investment
I hope all this is not in vain.

Yeah, you really are a risky guy to do that. But if you've thought this through and made this decision, I wish you the best of luck. I also believe that crypto is a very promising direction and perhaps not now, but in the future you will be able to get a very large profit from your investments.

Many of you say i am crazy or stupid and i should be shaking right now... but you are very wrong.. in fact, I am absolutely not nervous or worried. if you read my later posts, you will find i invested my ETH on 4 altcoins, and the value in ETH (not in US$) didnt changed much for these coins. Anyway, i assume risks and consequences. ANd the big difference among us, is i am not a mercenary like many of you, that just followed the hype.. i am talking about them who are here for few fast bucks, .. i am different because i am for the longterm as i BELIEVE in blockchain.. and i didnt took this decision as if i was blind or stupid! I did my propper research long time ago, and strongly think crypto will be a standard in the future.. maybe not tomorrow, or next week, or month.. also not next year.. i am not in a hurry! i think i got everything i need to live...it took most of my life to realize material things wont make me happier.. i dont need much anymore because i found i was already happy
.. I am not interested about lambos, mansions,... I am more interested in a more fair world for everyone. The big fishes (venture capital, banks...) have their profits being cutted, and this makes me really happy! Our life quality will improve in the longterm.. almost everything will be public, transparent and fair...

I guess not every investors would choose to invest in the way OP chosen, but everyone does have the freedom to make their own investment choices and there is totally nothing with it. I believe the OP does understand the risk involved on the investment he made, and I will definitely check out this post made by the OP after 10 years later. I think this is wrong, there are a lot of analysis aboutbtc and they say that btc can drop to 2k-2500 dollar and if this happens we can see 40-50 dollar for ethereum, so you must be careful there is no dip in market.
Why it is wrong? As you said they only say that bitcoin will drop to 2k to 2500 dollars. Those people cannot control tge movement of prices in the market. And noone knows what will happen. The move of this man is so risky. But if the gamble succeed that man will get huge profit.

Well..as least ETH seems to recover a little.. although i dont have ETH anymore.. all my ERC20 tokens are pegged to it!!!! but it makes me really happy to see this cryptofever/enthusiasm again in the market... hope this is the beginning of the next bull run.. run?¿ no! better a marathoN! everlasting glory to crypto

We all know that if you take all the risk you will get huge profit if it will succeed. Ethereum is one of the better coins in the market. So me too invest some of my money in this crypto. Believing that it will paid off in the future.

Exactly. This might not look a rational move to invest in ETH this way but trust me the revival of the technology will multiply your investment many a times. So good luck for the future and have a lucrative return.

I like your optimism, people who think you are stupid or worried about what you have done are those who have less understanding of cryptocurrency. They only dare to invest when the price of the crypto currency is going up, in the event of falling prices they will be quick to sell and save their investment. these two users hit on the most important... no one of us knows when ETH will find its bottom, .. and if we keep waiting for this, maybe we never have a pair to step in, and miss the train! The main principle of any trading is buy low and sell high.. i think the prices are low enough.. and risky decisions provide usually the biggest profits.. this is a matter of patience, and i can wait really a lot of time..
