Hey guys, for the past 4 days now I have been receiving strange TRC10 tokens in a Trust Wallet where I kept my Tron-based USDT and TRX, about 5 of them now. Is it something I should be worried about? Please I need a response if I need to transfer out my funds and create a new wallet to store them.
There's nothing to worry about I also have these kinds of tokens, and these are airdrop coins randomly sent by developers from active wallets, you don't have to transfer your tokens from that wallet, as long as your passphrase and private keys are protected no one can steal your TRX and USDT, some of these tokens are not showing in your wallet at all.

There's no need to worry about this issue either, getting unfamiliar tokens in wallets across platforms is not a hassle. But just to be sure, if you're not sure about your usage behavior, create a new one and transfer money into it.
Yes, it's a good solution instead of having to hesitate on a wallet that we've used, but for me it's not a problem that needs to be discussed because it is a very common thing for wallet users.
leaving it alone wouldn't be a problem either. I myself also have some TRC tokens in the Trust wallet. even when I use safepal new wallet and do TRX coin transactions I also get a new TRC token. sometimes also BTT.

it doesn't seem like it's anything out of the ordinary. for a long time, it seems that every wallet used for TRX transactions has a strange list of TRC token transactions. they are suddenly in our wallet and of course, they will not be able to sell us.
It's been a long time, actually, but no one really made a fuss about it. it's like a scam token in our ERC wallet.

I also received 20+ TRC-10 Coins in the past few days. At first, I was worried who & why someone sending me token with popular coin names even I never heard about those coins that they are TRC-10 based as well So I thought some hackers trying to hack me but I simply ignore all the coins even that has not worth a single penny but little bit afraid too So I am planning to create the new one.

It's normal to a wallet with own blockchain like TRX, ETH, Waves, EOS and many blockchain project. It's easy to create new token smart contract there and usually they are doing airdrop to all wallet that contains the native token of that particular blockchain. There is nothing to worry about this airdrops, Just don't put your paraphrase on scam phishing app.
You are right, I have received tons of such tokens in my wave wallet since 2017 and back then I use to think someday they will have some monetary value to them  Grin but I guess not because most of them are still in the with no value. I don't think there is anything to worry about OP as long as your login details are safe as many have also mentioned.

I envy you for having such trouble. My tron wallet is not have a single coin. How I wish someone could send coins to my wallet as well, even junk tokens. Forgive me, OP, i was just kidding. As long as your keys aren't compromised, there's nothing to worry about. If it's been leaked, your coins are no longer in your wallet. So ignore it.

Thats true, its normal if you're holding a token of that particular blockchain.

I also have experience on that matter with my trust wallet and it doesnt bother me.

As long as you're not disclosing your paraphrase then there's nothing to worry.

Well... token spamming is a well known issue in the cryptocurrency sector. While I was participating in various bounty campaigns during 2017-18, I might have received around two dozen different tokens from these campaigns. But I received at least 50-60 spam tokens in my wallet during this period (almost all of them are completely worthless). The spammers farm ERC-20 and TRC-20 wallet addresses from the spreadsheets and then send their spam (i.e promotional) tokens to these addresses. I mostly ignore them. But after a while, it gets difficult to search for the good tokens.

Those are shit coins do not get bothered, the same is also happening with others too. Just ignore them and nothing will happen. These things are quite frequent for Tron and Ethereum based tokens. In general, these tokens are airdrops and most of them do not have any USD value.
Exactly. I have been noticing the same thing with my Tronlink wallet too and I immediately recognized that these are airdrops and as you said, all of them do not have $ value to them including most recently some thousands of NFTs but will a really low $ value in cents  Grin

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
Necrobumping this thread.

I keep receiving as well TRC10 tokens on my Tronlink wallet and it keeps getting more and more everytime I get a new transaction. I don't know if there some kind of DEX to swap this tokens but I doubt if there was, am I right?

maybe because you are new here you are a little worried when you get token spam and you don't know, actually they are not a threat to our wallet and won't steal anything from there so just leave them there

I also experienced that and suddenly there were many types of tokens in my TRC20 wallet, even though I never joined any airdrops but no need to worry maybe it's just small airdrop for people who have trx in their wallet.
I don't have the same problems as you. But for a long time, and during the past day, I traded with a handful of TRX and got a token called Tofu10.
That curiosity led me to search for the truth and it's a good match for the guaranteed TRX vs ETH match. So it is safe.
If you do come across it, you can count on it.

There were some people creating the spam tokens to be distributed into the all of the TRC20 wallet. That being said if those tokens were spam token and it will not steal or anything related to the criminal activity. it looks like OP has got his answer.
It's happening with almost all of the blockchain with ability for the tokenization purpose.

Its good that you brought your observation about receiving some unfamiliar tokens into your wallet to notice of this forum members and I believed majorities of the comments allayed your fears and suspicion, I hope other newbies who had similar experience will have a sign of relief now, although those tokens might be worthless now you just hodl them who knows maybe one or two might have value when listed in the nearest future.

You shouldnt worried as long as you keep the pasphrase and key in safe place. Its just a random airdrop to your wallets and its relatively safe for your wallet. If it disturb you, i think u can option to unseen that random token in trust wallet.

I have received the same tokens like you and i just ignore it as it's airdrop token. there's no need to feel worry whether it will be giving very bad impact for your wallet. It gives nothing and it will not be a threat for you.
Just keep your privatekey safely and you will be safe.
It's not only happening in TRC but ethereum network too.
