Hey guys, for the past 4 days now I have been receiving strange TRC10 tokens in a Trust Wallet where I kept my Tron-based USDT and TRX, about 5 of them now. Is it something I should be worried about? Please I need a response if I need to transfer out my funds and create a new wallet to store them.

It's normal to a wallet with own blockchain like TRX, ETH, Waves, EOS and many blockchain project. It's easy to create new token smart contract there and usually they are doing airdrop to all wallet that contains the native token of that particular blockchain. There is nothing to worry about this airdrops, Just don't put your paraphrase on scam phishing app.

you are feeling worried about your funds and you can try to create a new wallet and transfer all of your funds from the old wallet to the new wallet but as long as you are not revealing or giving your phasephrase and then you must be safe. It looks like an airdrop token.

Yeah, I initially suspected them to be airdrop tokens, but coming in all at once within 3-4 days made me start being suspicious of foul play.
if you are participating in airdrops, that won't make any suspicious. You'll be lucky to have those but much lucky if they have a market value.
Want to know if that is tradable already?

Anyway, that was really surprising but you don't need to worry about it. What makes you worry is when you can see a cashout from your account to an unknown wallet address because this means that someone is in control of your wallet. Until not seeing this, it is just fine.

If you continue to receive tokens I don't think it will be a problem because it's like an airdrop, something that is at least worrying is when your funds are lost gradually or all at once, then of course that becomes something you have to overcome. All options go back to yourself because there is a lot of input you get, but if I were you then to be honest, I would personally accept it as long as it's safe and doesn't deduct anything on my main funds in my wallet.

In my opinion, it is normal for tokens to enter our wallet without knowing the source. I also experience this sometimes, so there is nothing for you
to worry about. As long as we keep the phase pharase properly, our wallet will be safe and fine. In my opinion there is a hide feature that can be
used if we are disturbed by the incoming tokens suddenly. This is usually the promotion of several projects by randomly sending airdrops.

It's a shame that I don't have access to a old Tron wallet of mine, I used to hold 130,000 TRON coins
Wow! That's a lot of stack in there. You should do all you can to recover that. 130k worth of Tron could be worth more than a Lamborghini in future. It's the same way early adopters lost a great deal of their cheaply purchased Bitcoin. Now a whole lot of them regret not securing or being serious with their wallets' security.

I would not trust such free airdrops, as they can be scammers who use token names similar to the names of popular projects.
What would scammers do if they airdropped tokens to you, nothing. Except you meant hackers. And that can only get you easily if there are malware somewhere in a link they ask you to click. Other than that, airdrops don't make anyone vulnerable.

I also face the same problem but I understand that these kind of garbage tokens often comes in tron wallets so you mustn't not be worried about it, just avoid them if you feel comfortable to create new wallet then you should do so after all we mustn't compromise with the security.

Nope, it's not something you should be afraid of. It's just a randomly airdropped worthless tokens. I used to observe the same thing a few years ago with my Waves wallet. Those were airdropped to me from the Waves community for merely hodling the Waves token. I never got around understanding how to redemn those tokens because it was either the tokens didn't exist on any exchange or they were worth nothing. Perhaps, that's the same situation with you now. I don't think it's a hack building up.
It's a shame that I don't have access to a old Tron wallet of mine, I used to hold 130,000 TRON coins and holding this amount of Tron in my wallet have fetched me few dollars more through Airdrops, the trick is if you own large amount of Tron some of those Airdrops will worth it, might be 10$, 20$ value worth of tokens, I sold some and some never get listed on exchange

Sometimes some of these tokens are sent, and then you cannot convert them to dollar.
which is often sent on central platforms, that means that you will lose your identity and may not get that money.
Some tokens are sent to you when you log in to a website or platform.

A large part of it aims to know your privacy, so remember no one is sending money for free.
Transfer your money to another account.

As long as you are sure that your wallet is 100% secured, then you can safely ignore those. No one can do anything (other than annoy you) to your funds by send you random tokens. I guess those are spam transactions. Like others said, they are probably trying to promote their shit tokens. They are mass spamming those tokens to others wallets and hope that they will look up those tokens, be interested and invest in those. But you shouldn't. Look at those token names "UnicSwap". Are they trying to copy uniswap or something?

Edit:
I'm kinda surprised that many people don't know about this, there is rewards for holding Tron coins in your wallet, that's you will get free airdrop tokens every once in a while, the higher the Tron coins you have in your wallet the higher the airdrop tokens you will earn, some will be shitcoins for sure but not all of them, there are few you will be able to sell, that is if you have enough

-snip-
Oh didn't know that. Why would someone want those shitty airdrops?

There is nothing to be worried about, that's how Tron network works, even if you have 5 pieces of Tron coins in your wallet you will receive new tokens as Airdrops, this is legal and official, you won't receive any if your Tron wallet is empty, I have different Tron wallets that's how I was able to find out

I have seen that happen in waves wallet, where you will receive unknown tokens with no value attached to it, samething have been experienced in ERC wallets and now Tron as well, therefore since they have no value just overlook them and pretend as if they are not there and since you are using like Trust wallet, then you can actually hide them from showing, hence so far your private keys and so on are kept safe, your assets are secured. However, many people are always skeptical and anxious of their funds and assets, therefore if that is the case with you, you can actually create a new wallet and transfer everything to the new wallet, while securing your details.

No need to worry dude. I have experienced the same incident.
It was just a useless coin that was discarded on purpose.
But my advice if you are worried, you better create a new wallet. To be safer and your worries resolved

Those are shit coins do not get bothered, the same is also happening with others too. Just ignore them and nothing will happen. These things are quite frequent for Tron and Ethereum based tokens. In general, these tokens are airdrops and most of them do not have any USD value.
