why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?

Patience is just a transition effect lest you be fooled and easily carried away emotions to sell at a low price because it will make you lose, hold the coin you have and make a deposit again to play another coin.
That is right, set aside emotions, don't over think that because the price decrease does means that bitcoins and other altcoins are getting dead, it is not like that, it was just a pure normal thing and just look at it at a positive side that when price dumps we can buy more so that when it increases we will earn a lot.

20% in crypto is not so hight. Remember that untill you will not close position, your loss is not fixed. I can add that around 1 or 2 weeks there was a huge decrease in all crypto and my friend lost 30% of portfolio but he add a bit and after a week he had even more Smiley

So what? When investing in any crypto you should be prepared to lose 100%. Are you a trader or an investor? Anyways, the question seems weird for both. You shouldn't be panicking that quickly.

Most likely you are new to trading in general because if you understand trading you would know right away that correction is inevitable. If you bought on the peak price and sold it at the bottom then you need to rethink your strategy. Always have a game plan when doing a trade because if you do not have one you will lose not only 20% but 100% of your budget. Do more research about technical analysis or at least the very basic of candle sticks. Try to also research wave patterns.

Also be cool and do not be emotional this seems easier said than done but if you become emotionally unattached to your trading you will be a better trader.
Most people always panic at first when they are new to trading. However, it is always good to have a strategy.
Trading is more like; 'if this happens, I expect this to happen' and with that it would be so easy to make decisions on your trading without making too much huge loss and making some good profit. We have all been there but the good thing is to always be patient.

That is the risk with crypto investing and you cannot take that away.
You cannot cry there because of your loss. You shouldve read more about cryptos before investing.
But if you are patient enough then you can wait and try to pull more investors on your side with the crypto you are supporting.
That is what you can do for now instead of just crying out there or going with their flow in panic.

You didn't lose your budget. It's an asset and if you made your final decision to sell off those on a low price that you could say you lose your budget/investment. 1 thing to keep in mind, never ever ever lose your initial investment. If you bought it for 1$ dont sell it any lower, you can set stop loss if you want but never let yourself lose. Dont be carried away by your emotions.

In trading is recommended to use stop loss for maximum loss that you can get.
20% is maximum i think in my strategy. Altcoin remain down since price of bitcoin is grow so much.
In addition there is another strategy to cover the loss, ie immediately do buy back at the base and hold for correction.
always monitor bitcoin prices to get the right moment.

Please only hold if you think you can handle the paper loss. Otherwise cut your losses immediately and wait for prices to bottom out and establish a support level.

It is not so easy to find out when prices will bottom out. So start buying in a small amount at every small dip then you will get coins at a good average price. If I think the coin is good for the long term then I will not sell but will buy some more if prices go very much lower than my purchased price. I was holding Verge for last few months and in last few days it gave me superb profit and that is the benefit of holding good coins.

This is inevitable, you just need to wait a moment and hold your coins. The loss is not so great and soon you will be able to win back your entire loss.

Dont worry, if you did not buy on the top the price will be going up again, the volatility of cryptocurrency is high so just wait to going up.
20% is not that much, you can still recover when you improve, that is trading, we lose sometimes but what
is important is we focus on the our goal, eventually we can recover as we improve our strategy in trading, we have to learn in every mistakes committed.

I 100% agree. Someone I know held a certain coin while it plunged down and gave him a 30% loss. He hoped and hoped, but ended up letting go since it got only worse after 3 months.

the hold is the best thing that he can do. myself still hold the coins that I bought at 3 months ago and today, I see good movements from all of my coins and I still wait the best price that I want. it seems we're gonna see the altcoin is rise back and reach the highest price. I think if these conditions run well, at least we can make until 50% profit from the last time we bought the coins. but if bitcoin price shows the increase of the price then we need to wait for another time.

Some alts are not down for now. Just keep on holding and believe that you will earn thru holding and waiting for the pump of btc and alts.

You are not alone dude, I think there are many people out there who also lose 20% of their budget or even more, including me who have ever lost my budget up to 50%. That's why we call it trading, we can not predict when prices will rise or fall. My advise is if the price of the coin that you bought down far away,  you can sell the loss to buy back at a low price if you play short term, but if you are patient enough to wait then you can hold the coin until the price rises, all depends on your decision, and do not forget never panic if the price drops, take it easy because the price will surely rise
Indeed, if you want to learn, you can learn a lot from this. But still I would like to add something and that is to read the situations clearly and try to put it in some mathematical form so as to predict about the future of the bitcoin or any other crypto currency. The more interest you will put in market; the more profit you will expect. And last but not the least, that losing is also part of the game but losing always means you are a bad player.

just wait a week, it will be christmas and greens everywhere Smiley more and more money pumping into crypto too
cryptocurrency down is only temporary, but in the next few months it seems to be able to get a very good price and can rise to the highest position. altcoin prediction in 2018 will be able to touch the highest level.
