I also lost a big chunk again from my portfolio because of the switch from bitcoin to bitcoin cash that the market made today. I am really sad about this but what can we do, this is life and this is the way markets work, Some people win and some people lose, that is that really. I hope one day we can all make some good gains again Some people made it big again from this bull run, some of us are still struggling with our portfolios, we just have to keep our chin up and hope for the best.

It is just a correction of the market. After a long time increasing, the investors will sell to get profit. That is very normal. After Chismast holiday, the market will recover.

Keep calm and don't panic sell, if you bought at the top then be patient until the next run or cut your lose and treat it as expensive experience. You don't lose a long as you haven't sell the coin so if you believe the future is bright then just hold it longer.

They all go down because people are panicing and dumping them and some other whales collect them in dip and will profit an tripple their investments so don`t panic and hold.

Do not fuss, most often you need to remain calm and not sell coins when they fall. Yesterday I wanted to sell bitcoin at the time of the fall, but did not do it, now it becomes more expensive.

Losses can be recovered and because of those losses you will be more careful in doing your next actions in maybe trading or investing and it is really great to see some people who are falling down because that is the test for them if they are going to make their losses as their inspiration or they will just let their losses take over them and make their fear wins.

why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?

how do you feel? definitely feel depressed if you have to lose capital worth 20%, in the trading world we must be patient and should be able to analyze the market do not get too lust to get a lot of profits and do not easily fooled by negative issues, save coin you buy as an investment.

Well that's common though and many traders won't even flinch if they lose that amount since it can be earned back if you know what yo do. And simply being composed and holding instead of selling at a loss can avoid those setbacks

You are not alone dude, I think there are many people out there who also lose 20% of their budget or even more, including me who have ever lost my budget up to 50%. That's why we call it trading, we can not predict when prices will rise or fall. My advise is if the price of the coin that you bought down far away,  you can sell the loss to buy back at a low price if you play short term, but if you are patient enough to wait then you can hold the coin until the price rises, all depends on your decision, and do not forget never panic if the price drops, take it easy because the price will surely rise

I think everyone on cryptocurrency loss their budget too like you and they still try to recover their money although it is difficult. I think it is normal because I am sure that someday your loss will be back and even you will earn a big profit because you don't panic and still wait for the price increase back. the most important thing here is how we can manage our emotions to not panic and not worried because we are losing our budget and if you are having difficulties to manage your emotions then I suggest you take a rest for a while from cryptocurrency and do not open your computer.

why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?

not all digital currencies decline, if it decreases it is just price correction and take profit only, if you are hooked and sell your coin at cheap price then you will lose, should hold and wait until the price back to normal.

Did you lose the 20% of your budget just because of cryptocurrencies are going down? If it's the reason then probably you earned 50% of your budget as of now because the digital currencies are continuously increasing these past few days and most of the expert keeps on telling to hold you coins and wait for the shocking positive value this coming year. However, the bitcoin experience decreasing of value today compared to yesterday's value which is almost at $20,000. As the matter of fact, most of us had lots of questions and thoughts about the negative issues happening to bitcoin's value.

I tell you a story and you should know what to do. I heard someone said he bought bitcoin at 7k, then nervous and sold at 5k. Now, you should know what is the current bitcoin price.
What a story! However, your story plays out for someone that is holding for long anyway and I really do not know what a trader will be looking at to let the value gets so low to that point before selling for profit unless the person is probably a newbie.

The truth is for anyone who is not a trader, there is no point being bothered about what the value of cryptocurrencies are at those moments. The best thing is to buy when they are at dips and even get more profit in the long run.

Dont panic, the cryptocurrency is so high fluktuasion and if you choosed the right coin and that coin good in fundamentally the price will be going up again, just wait patiently, but if you bought in the top for the better cut loss it and buy again in cheaper price, but this is need more time to do it.
Your first and last sentence are contradicting. First you said just wait patiently because it's only fluctuation. But in the end, you are saying it's better to cut loss when the price is lower than you bought it. See?

Don't worry man, 20% in crypto is not so much, take care about risks and decide, whether you trade or invest
Yes this is not so much big amount.
If you have invested 100 btc and it down 20% (down 20 btc) is it still "not so much big amount?"
