Its understandable that we want to maximize our gains by waiting for an all time high, but we also need to take profit in order to lessen the risk if the price suddenly drop. The problem is we are greedy and forget these things then we will only realize our mistakes after the price plunged again making us to wait for a bounce back. This waiting game is the hardest for investors/traders especially if they see the price still in a bloody situation. Though a bearish market is a normal cycle in crypto some of us cant bear seeing their assets losing its value.
