Yes it is big money and only those who have a lot of money or those who are able to keep thinking positively and wisely to remain calm and comfortable with their conditions, whereas on the other hand they have lost a lot of money in gambling. But this is also a learning for all of us not to be frustrated or maybe something else bad because of the suffering that is due to losing money in gambling.

That's too much to take if I were in your shoes. I would never bet that kind of amount in a year, that is way too depressing for me if all that money have gone in gambling. Where did you get all those money to play with? You have a fortune and yet throw it away, that is so frustrating. Even me winning small amounts of BTC I immediately run and stop for the meantime and play again another day.

That's how gamblers manage themselves, they take bigger risk and believe that they can still win despite the fact that they are not winning most of its sessions. Maybe that's really the destiny of gamblers as gambling house are destine to become richer.

Having a self control is really necessary, the only way to be safe all the time is don't spend what you can afford to lose.

That could be an attitude problem and it looks like he is deeply addicted to gambling that he can't think the right thing to do.
Losing such amount( 10BTC) is not a joke for me and it even you are not in the third world country is still a big money especially with the price today.
It may be he keeps on gambling for the seek that he can bring it back in one day.

There's always a problem once a person got addicted to this activities, limitations already been forgotten when you are trying to recover previous loses
and it will possibly ends to the same results, trying harder will make you more suffer. Gambling is not the proper way to treat as an easy access to become
rich, losing that amount of money is painful but you also need to realize that it an add more if you will proceed and continue playing.
