Thank you again for your support guys, and yes, I just learn a valuable lesson here.

I am just new in the amazing world and I want to learn as much as possible about it, so I will try to keep myself active on the forum.

Yes it is important to stay in this forum more because it is a helpful place to be concerning cryptocurrency learning. Read through others posts and comments and you will learn more and also contribute useful posts yourself too. And now that you have recovered your token and the issue is solved, you can lock this thread.

First of all, I had already configured the "smart chain" in my wallet even before my mistake, so my wallet already had a BNB account and some BNB-based coins.

What I do was check the transaction in BSCScan and then copy the contract of the coin that was moved (this was suggested on a document of binance academy previously shared in this thread).

It takes me time to discover that the contract of that coin was different than the contract offered by SHIB. I had already tried to place the SHIB contract in my "Smart Chain wallet - Add new Coin" option, but the coin was not found (which is logical since the original contract is ETH based).

When I put the contract of the coin that I get form the BSCScan website in my "smart Chain" wallet, then something like a SHIB version for BNB just showed up. I add it and my almost 7 million SHIB was there.

Of course, my SHIB is now on a BNB wallet, in order to claim them or do something I need to move to a ETH based wallet, but they are there... safe...

This is my explanation of what happened, I have probably misused some terminology due to my ignorance on the subject.

Next time you should be careful while transacting tokens and shitcoins, even the address may look same but it may comes from different blockchain but luckily you send the SHIB to metamask, if you send to any other exchanges then literally you will lose your coins because exchange say we already have this in our terms so we won't do any help and also this may taught you about why we need non custodial wallet for storing cryptos.

I actually get the SHIB on my BSC accout  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I read from above and thought that your shib will disappear but luckily it didn't happen. because erc and bep20 are on the same chain then you probably don't lose it but if you send Bitcoin or other altcoins on a different network then you can't get it back.

I think your tokens are not lost if you know the right settings, bep20 and erc20 networks works hand in hand, this means that your bep20 wallet address and erc20 wallet address are always the same if you import with the same private key, this is also to say that your bep20 and erc20 private keys are the same, I know this because I use bep20 and erc20 networks often.
But now where there will be a problem is if shib does not have a smart contract on bep20 network, then the only way to recover your shib tokens will be to contact binance support to see if there is any way they can help to recover your tokens, but know before hand that they aren't likely going to do it for free, you definitely will be charged a fee if its possible for them to recover the tokens for you.
Goodluck.

I think your issue will be resolved by the Binance support team, try contacting them and provide them with the information that proves you have done it. I used to be confused about using the wrong chain once, but it's not a problem, Binance is really safe and secure. But anyway, it is considered a valuable lesson for you when participating in this market.

Yes, that's true, and the Binance support team is an upper-middle market asset in the crypto market, and what is happening right now is not a fatal one that has lost its shib, and try to observe or deepen why this all happened, what happened could make you lose that shib, and try to exclude yourself from the Binance team again so that it doesn't happen again.

I just read the OP's reply and it is up to OP if he will be able to recover the loss. This is another way of development against decentralization because there are already options that mistakes like the one OP stated above could now be resolve. I think we can still see more of this kind of feature in the future.

i've tried add binance network in metamask but not tried yet for send bsc token. overall it is good information for crypto community, most of them even didnt know this important knowledge.

It happens to even those who already had some years of experience in crypto, it is called mistake which no human is above, newbie or not, similar case happened to me just 2 days ago,  I mistakenly send some busd to my binance usdt wallet, when I realised my mistake it was already too late, transaction already successful, thought I lost my coins but somehow (strangely) I got notification deposit was successful, couldn't believe it but was glad though, as humans we are bound to make mistakes. Glad you are able to receive your coins back with help of the forum members.

It's good to see that you've figured it out with the help of the other members because some newbies when they create a mistake, usually it's really hard to retrieve such wrong network transfers but since it's Binance, they and you did a great job and all of those who helped you as well.

And since your problem has been solved, it's okay now to lock this topic and if there's a newbie that would do the same mistake, he can just go back to this thread and follow the guidelines how you did it.

Winding down.
Thank you again for your support guys, and yes, I just learn a valuable lesson here.

Normally we commit mistakes, I felt that because it also happened to me and that is worse because I sent it to the wrong address and no way of getting it back. But in your case, there's still a chance to get your money back.

We are here in the forum not only because we earn money but also gain knowledge. Please don't be afraid to ask questions as this is how we improve our understanding of crypto and technically the way it works.

Is there a way that can be done with their mobile android app?  Or none and only in the web browser?

It is good to know that OP has successfully resolved this issue.  Fortunately, the wallet supports the BSC network to which you sent it.

How did you resolve it? Did you add the correct RPC network for your SHIB and then added the SHIB token details as a custom token for that network or you did it with another method. I am asking because more than 1 method was shared on the thread. Whichever one works, share it so others would learn from it and prevent issues like this in the future or even people with the issue will have a straight way of resolving. Nice to hear you still have your tokens. That's one benefit of Ethereum sidechains and layer 2 networks.
yea , i am curious too how did he resolve this problem. maybe if he share the ways to recover this mistake , we will have important knowledge how to overcome if this accident happen to us. i am sure , there are alot people outside there have same problem with OP but they don't know where have to ask. It really be new knowledge from some people/

I just heard that SHIB gives some rewards to hold but my about 60USD SHIB was in Binance where I get no rewards, so I just decide to move it to my metamask.

The problem is that I move my SHIB from binance to metamask by using the wrong network, I used BEP20 insted of ETH network.

I just lose my SHIB??

Is there something that I can do??

Considering the amount of SHIB that you had I think even trying with Binance support won't make a lot of sense. Binance support is generally non-responsive to such queries as they receive tons of them each day and they had clearly warned users beforehand about this. You can try nagging them with a lot of emails each day about this and if you are lucky enough and they are grateful enough they might decide to look into your issue but despite that I doubt they would actually do anything. You can try following this reddit link if it matches your problem https://www.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/jz1vdj/accidentally_used_the_wrong_network_transfer/ He got his tokens back somehow.

Great to hear that you got your SHIB token. You shouldn't believe any staking rewards sites, most of them scam. Maybe you were lucky this time, but you could lose your tokens to choosing a wrong rewards sites. Although Binance has already provided so many staking altcoins, you can choose those altcoins. As a again, you won't make the same mistake.
