While this looks cool, I think its really important for a flag to be easy to produce. Thats why all of the world flags use only a few solid colors and generally simple shapes with straight lines.

i'm bored so i figured I'd try my hand at a flag.... the text at the bottom and the bitcoin symbol can be changed to something similar if you choose this one

edit: Just FYI, in Russia, Communism isn't that controversial (or, more precisely, it's controversial but you won't shock anyone with a hammer and sickle)... the Communist Party gets a significant portion of the vote regularly.
