I would divide my portfolio like this:
50 percent USDT , 30 percent ETH and keep the rest 20 percent for some good ICO or some good token I may see, I would rather shield myself against volatility and only take the risk on somethings that I'm pretty sure it worth it .

The type of assets and portfolio you have depends on your needs, Bitcoin is good to hold but for small investors it's better to hold Altcoins like Ethereum or Litecoin,
if it must be divided based on capital, it should be 40% crypto, 40% Fiat and 20% for daily needs.
it is good management when you want to invest.

My portfolio right now is divided into 50% Litecoin 30% Eth and 20% Bitcoin. I want to restructure it between these coins (Or other coins), What should I do? I tune in and out of the crypto markets pretty often so my knowledge isn't optimal.
Most of the investors here saying that "you should put more on Bitcoin and not on other altcoins".
What can I say with your portfolio is that, just invest into the coins who you know will give you profits in the long term. Whether it is Litecoin who has the highest portion of your portfolio or capital, the fact that you are holding them both is what matters.

Now if you really want to restructure your portfolio, I can say 60-20-20. 60% Bitcoin and 20% for both ETH and LTC.

These are just suggestions and decisions up to you, so 50% Bitcoin, 25% Eth and 25% Bnb. If I am personally in your position, of course I will change the previous portfolio back to the correct investment list, I don't want to invest money into the wrong project, do every research and don't forget to always monitor the crypto market.

You should allocate some of your portofolio into fiat, because it's really useful for buying more of your cryptos whenever the price is in a lower price (lower than your buying position), which is called averaging. Put it like 20% of your portofolio is good enough, and believe me you will find it very useful after you tried for it.

I think you have a good investment list, especially with bitcoin and Ethereum, my advice is you need to hold them for long term investment. About Litecoin I don't think this year has a great chance of increasing its highest price again, after last year's halving party. maybe you can convert Litecoin to BNB or ETH again.

Go for 60% Bitcoin 30% ETH and 10% LTC. If i do have that kind of portfolio then i would make out adjustments on what i had partitioned earlier.
But since this is your money then you do have the full control on where you do see that benefits you the most. When it comes to optimal matters then
no one can have that precise analysis because theres no assurance on how these 3 coins will increase in near future but at least we can already
presume out that these had really the potential and much really worth for your money to pour on rather than considering some shitcoins in the
market.

i wont give much also for ltc. though there are rumours that theres really no development going on with ltc, it is better to play safe and not invest too much in this alt. of course, you can never go wrong with btc and eth. with the upcoming eth 2.0, the price increase is very forthcoming.
and yes at the end of the day, after reading all those suggestions, the OP should weigh what's gonna be his take on these proposals.

I can advise you to keep a USDT, at least 10%, the cryptocurrency has high volatility, in the long term, it is often possible to buy at a lower price.

It is a good portfolio
Honestly, yes, I agree that he has a good portfolio unlike others who were asking if their portfolio is good yet there's no bitcoin and it's composed of random altcoins.

I'll reverse it into this.

50% Bitcoin

30% Ethereum

10% Litecoin

If you want to remain with the said coins, you always include bitcoin no matter what changes you'll do.

I have same thought in mind, and the remaining 10% would be best invested on another altcoin that have a promising future.
With the small portion, he can think of it and put it anywhere that he want. What's important is he understands the coin that he's investing. Other than that, I've said that he's in good track as long as he always give big part for bitcoin.

Better let us know what is your portfolio value to give which kind of coins can work for you.Obviously you need to have 50% or more bitcoins in your portfolio then move to the coins which are currently trending if your value is less than 1000 dollars,if you are having high valued portfolio then can further divide a part for etherum, litecoin and other potential coins.

The thing is, once Bitcoin rises or falls, ETH and LTC will not have much of a different price change in comparison with BTC. Over the long term, between the two, I personally think you're going to be better off with BTC only.

Altcoins are usually great to purchase and then wait for bullish Bitcoin seasons. When BTC's bullish, alts go absolutely nuts and, if you cash in at the right time, you'll end up with more BTC in the end. But all of my alt purchases, specifically the top few ones, usually turn into losses BTC-wise over the long term.

The thing is, the perfect scenario (purchase alts -> end up with more BTC) is usually wrecked by emotions for most.

It is a good portfolio but I think it is better to have a larger portion allocated on Bitcoin and ETH next.

I'll reverse it into this.

50% Bitcoin

30% Ethereum

10% Litecoin

You need to have faith in your portfolio. I understand if someone believe more in Litecoin than in Bitcoin, or you compare
all other coins, you choose to believe in the future of that coin and that's the most important.
You can restructure your portfolio, but my suggestion is to try to invest more money or to earn in some ways. I believe
that every portfolio should be upgraded with more coins and new coins.

I will consider the marketcap of the top coins, the larger the size of most of the coin the lower the capacity to pump hard. I will also consider the ability of the coin to pump irrespective of bitcoin price movement. Coin with similar feature to bitcoin dont have any unique leverage to create a different hype. Litecoin is the type that should be lowered in the portfolio. Try 2 more coin with different use case maybe BNB

Your portfolio list demonstrate your knowledge to be indeed not optimal because having 50% of Litecoin is the fast way for you to make lost in future and I will advise you to make BTC 70% of your portfolio. Meanwhile, the only thing I see that you did well was not choosing many coins as your portfolio due to your knowledge level.

Everyone on here will have his own opinion, so I would suggest to do your own research and find what would be the best for you.
What is the reason that you put 60% initially on litecoin? What has changed now that you want to alter this?

IMO all depending on the situational of bitcoin.

If you feel bullish going to bitcoin, bearish going to fiat and side away off course altcoin. Going to altcoin when bitcoin bullish was not a good option, because your altcoin estimation using bitcoin will decrease following the USD estimation the reason price of bitcoin is increase.
