Hi guys.
I have summarized all your ideas/advice and would like to thank you for your answers and advice. I have now expanded my team and also talked with an adviser. During the next month, we will structure the whole concept.

A pre-sale for our token will be performed.

We will develop a new version and also a mobile app for the platform and a mobile wallet for our user.

Since i am a new member i can not send private message to some of you.
I promised to send token to you who answered this topic, so please send me a private message with your Eth address.

Best regards

Let them swap/convert your tokens to one self created token within the Ethereum chain.

Calculate how much you need for future purposes by calculating the potential growth.
10 billion+ tokens?

And if you really want to maximize this concept, make sure you get listed and make the token exchangeable.

come to the question creatively. you can make a very cool platform. you can make your followers get paid and you have received the enrichment for the use of your platform. similarly, you can invite people to assemble a pool to participate in pre-ICO .

I would convert your special tokens into tokens on Ethereum of Waves platform, to make things easy and more transparent, but it's not the only option.
Then you can do something like certain advertising rights cost a certain number of tokens (you have to make clear rules).
At the point there's liquidity (money from advertisers) you can buy back tokens from the publishers for real money.

Just if you work yourself with money you may have to become a financial institution under more strict rules (I am not sure, just thinking); or you can check the sites where people sell pictures/photos and the way they handle the money.
Even if you'll make a crypto token, you'll have at first to take a closer look at the price, else everybody will sell low and you'll end up with too many advertisers.

And you'll have to start paying the publishers only based on how much your platform earns from them (or the potential of earning from them).
And yeah, prepare for spam and rules broken/bent.

At some point, people will get tired if they cannot turn what they earn into money. The reason why I don't play game of points is because every amount acquired is just dummy and worthless afterall just some imaginary riches. Imagine what would happen to your platform if it can afford people the opportunity to change into something worthwhile.

My advise, I think its time to start opening up to other things that are about moving to the next level. When it get to certain point even your dream can be too big for you alone to carry that you have to bring in new people and that is the stage you are now for you to have garner such amount of bloggers on your platform.
One you need to start accepting those corporate organisations ready to advertise but rather than collecting money for the space, try something like partnership in that instead of them paying you, let them have a market place where those token holders can use their tokens in addition to some amount of dollars to buy on your advertisers site. Doing this will save you a lot of trouble of managing financial laws of having to convert tokens to money, and again the companies approaching you gets what they want which is publicity everybody wins.

Maybe you're underestimating the willingness of people to simply earn tokens and numbers in the hope that one day they strike it big. It doesn't help when we've had tokens like Nano (mrai/xrai or whatever it was called) easily "earned" at one time and then just spike in value making instant millionaires for a few. I was guilty of it myself in the very early days, faucet hunting when I was learning my way around, those numbers had a way of making me feel rich. All imaginary, as you said. But then we have had examples like the one I mentioned.

But yeah. People need to create value, and useful value at that... they don't realise it yet, or maybe never will. But as long as there will always be examples of the points game making it big, people will refuse to change their dreams.

First of all,I'd ask that what was the essence of the token you award to the writers? Does it have any specific value to them- I mean you created that with the aim of making it a cryptocurrency one day or you just created for fun (as in what we get in games and other imaginary treasure hunts).
Well if the former is your reason, then I suggest the 'steemitlike' method of payment. That makes the tokens more valuable and users can actually get real money from that. And yeah! you'll need to list on an exchange but first have a definition (i mean motive for your tokens) and it might interest others to join. As for ICOs, I won't advice you to embark on one, but hey you can start one if you think you will have a good project to embark on

I had some reasons why I created these tokens.
1. To learn more about crypto development because I'm a developer, I wanted to increase my knowledge.
2. I wanted some kind of merit system that shows visitors how active a blogger is.

So, what about my suggestion above? I think that way you can end up with your token listed on exchanges even without your asking them to. But first of you will need a good monthly income from advertisers and that depends on the popularity of your platform. You have never mentioned the name of the platform, by the way. I  would like to take a look at those blogs if possible.

I think that best decision - is to create tokens on blockchain - NEO or Etherium, make some promotion and list this tokens on Exchange. I think that you should just issue tokens, but ICO it is not good idea. It will be very hard to find investros.
if you read and followed the discussion, it's apparent that the token is already created/issued and almost fully distributed
his core question was about how to make his token to have some value and turn into $ for his platform users
solution is actually pretty simple, by understanding the use of token and basic economics behind it
which seems was missed out (neglected) during creation or introduction of that token to his platform

Hi guys!

I have a platform with about 3000 bloggers. All bloggers and users earns token when they create posts or commenting other topics.
My users are young girls between 18-30 years old and they do not know anything about token or crypto.

Everyday, companies have contacted me and want to advertise on my platform, but I have declined their offer.
We have some great blogging functions that connects influencer and companies in a good way, thats why they are contacting me.

I want my user to convert their token to US dollars on my platform and give them real money becouse they are not doing anything with the tokens they earn.

What should I do with all the tokens I collect from the bloggers.
My token is not available in any exchange and I have about 1 050 000 000 tokens which is almost the Max supply.

Do you have any advice?
Is there any potential future on my platform / token?
Should i do an ICO?
Should i try to get listed on some exchange?

Thanks in advance

If I were you, I would accept advertisement offers from those companies. Your coin has no value + it's your own creation so I can't ubderstand how do you collect your own coins?
It's bettee foe you to collect finances and develope or do other things because creatinf ICO is hard alone and you need to meet developers, pr managers and etc, so it needs even more finances.

As far as you are receiving offers for advertisement on your platform I think what you can do is to accept an offer and then distribute the money they pay you, BTC, USD or whatever, among your most active bloggers accordingly to the amount of tokens they have. Thus your tokens will start having some real value and maybe in the future, if your platform becomes very popular and good paying advertisers will be willing to deal with you, the value of your tokens may even start to rise.

Allow me to summarize the OP: You made up a token out of thin air, have 1.05 billion of them, and give them away to 3000 people who know nothing about cryptocurrencies. And they pretend to be girls (lol). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I want my user to convert their token to US dollars on my platform and give them real money becouse they are not doing anything with the tokens they earn.
You can't just create a token and expect it to be worth anything.

Every blogger earns equally on my platform.
Prepare for massive spam and plagiarism if you start paying them Sad

If your token is not listed on any exchange then is has no value.
And even listing it on an exchange doesn't give it value out of thin air.

I want my user to convert their token to US dollars on my platform and give them real money becouse they are not doing anything with the tokens they earn.
they're not doing anything with the tokens because you don't provide any use for them
you need to implement and incorporate the tokens to some parts of your platform

You can allow advertising customers to buy your tokens, you will receive crypto/fiat and give that reward to your blogers.

Thats one of the options i have been thinking, but iam not sure yet.
Thanks for your advice Smiley
That's the ONLY option you have right now.
you need to generate some money to be able to give/distribute/offer some money to your users
unless you want to pay them out of your own pocket and go bankrupt in no time Tongue

One of my goal in this project is that companies open their own vendors/webshop on my platform and sell products. The blogger can promote products and also buy those products whit the token they earn. All user whould be able to buy products with my tokens.
Everyday, companies have contacted me and want to advertise on my platform, but I have declined their offer.
We have some great blogging functions that connects influencer and companies in a good way, thats why they are contacting me.
concentrate on these two ideas and built the system on your platform to make them work with your token
when you have your own token, you need to decide its main purpose or usage
then you need to think the basic economics to make your token becomes valuable
from that point, you need to maintain your platform for continuance of token use

I'm curious, how do you finance your platform? how do you pay bill and expense for running the platform all this time?

If your audience, and your bloggers, are both not interested in crypto, then there is really no need for you to explore crypto/ICO/blockchain options. You mentioned that you already have tokens, you own most of the supply (I don't really understand this part, are you saying that you actually own/have a blockchain already?), then all you need to do is issue the tokens as payments, which can then be redeemed centrally through your platform for a dollar value. You can set this value to be fixed to make things simpler (I suspect that IS simpler).

No need for exchange listing, no need for ICO, you already have the product and the model doesn't have to be blockchain outside of your own management of tokens.

I really can't understand, why this project needs tokens, cause, it is really simple to make token on your project only (right now), but is it story for worldwide?
Why you think, that it need ICO ?
