That is not good at all because you always need to have some back up money in case something happens.
You cannot survive in this world without money and wait until you get your profit from Bitcoin.

If I had invested my savings in Bitcoin would it be more likely to be broke? Cheesy

Do you keep your savings in a currency that loses value over time?

A degrading currency would really make him broke indeed; Otherwise making an investment in Bitcoin has proven worth it in the long term. That is why most people on this forum are actually buying Bitcoins and storing them so that they wait for a gradual price increase. This kind of investment is quite good because due to the gradually growth of the popularity of Bitcoin, its value grows also constantly.

Nope you will never be broke if you  invest your savings i n Bitcoin. You can say  you have no cash for now but you can have them whenever you want by simply converting your Bitcoin to cash again. It's that simple.  Being broke means you don't have money and there is no way to get one as soon as possible and that is just the opposite if you have bitcoin in stash.
Yeah even you spend it or not you will not be broke it was just regret if the price increase and you buy it cheap ,but it's part of the bitcoin community and we see many use of it why don't use it if needed.

The key is to never invest more than you can afford to lose.
I think its fine to do higher investements in low-medium risk investments tho.

It's better to keep a larger part of your savings in bitcoins than in cash. Cash devalues with time while bitcoin appreciates with time.

How does it come then that you are now broke because that means that you have spend in on other things.
It would be better for you to spend it on Bitcoin because then you could have made your money back.

If you are not going to spend your savings for a while then bitcoin is a good way to invest your money, but don't sacrifice everything for buying lots of bitcoin, start with a small amount then if you see that is going good then try increasing the volume.

If you never spend your savings on Bitcoin then how does it come that you are broke because that does not make much sense at all.
If you are broke then you must have spend your savings on something else.

Same in my case but in slightly different way. I have not invested my money in bitcoin till few months before (recently started it) but I spend my time (and we know, time is money), I actually sold my services and digital goods and accepted payments in bitcoins in that way I accumulated a tiny amount. It totally depends on what you think about your investment and what are the results are. If your investments are often end up with loss and you see exactly the same loss (downfall after $1000 mark) in bitcoin then it’s obvious for you to not breaking since you have not invested.

I think that you should invest some of your money i to Bitcoin because I am sure that if you do that that you are going to be able to make some money.
The only thing that you have to do is buy coins and hold on to them and when the price is high you sell to make a profit.

I love that question. I don't think most people realize that fiat is inflationary by nature. If you bought a brand new house in 1970 that cost $30k, it'd be $250k in today's money. So if you had put that $30k in a bank/cash, you'd have essentially LOST $230k, or 90% of your money. And this is a GUARANTEED loss because that's how fiat is.

I guess it depends if you save some bitcoin back to 2013-2014  when the price crash you are now millionaire 😁😁 but if you want to invest in this time I cannot answer what will happen in the next few years may be the bitcoin crash or increase much more.

Price up 36% since this post.

Would you consider being broke if your wealth increased by 36%?
You are right... but, we are in peculiar spot right now. Many people consider current Bitcoin price as not suitable. What I mean by that?
They simply think bitcoin is too expensive ATM to buy it and expect a price to go EVEN higher from $650.
They are afraid that - as many times before we will hit market ceiling and bitcoin will go back to $350 again.

It depends on where you invested your savings. If you are lucky you will not get broke if you know well the company that you put your money in. But as they said Invest only the amount you afford to lose.
