How quickly do you react. It was worth mentioning your nickname, you are already right there. Smiley Therefore, don't pronounce lovesmayfamilis's name in vain, otherwise you will call trouble. Cheesy

So my fears about this account turned out to be correct. I can say not much about him, because I don't have such detective skills as you do. Here, rather, my intuition and inner suspicion of the words in the text worked for me, which became stronger after reading Darker45's posts in this thread.

Let the detection occur even with some difficulties, but it still happens.

P.S. I see you've already left a mark in his trust. Maybe now people will stop writing to him what a great guy he is with 7 years 2 years of experience in investing in bitcoin.

Did you call?  Grin Grin Grin What can you say about this account? He does not change his behavior, and as always happens with liars, he is bound to end badly. It is a mistake to say that he is a newbie, this character has been hanging out on the forum for a long time, and he has blocked accounts in his history, although yes, he is becoming a little trickier to detect.

Few days ago Loyce reported a shitposting newbie uche3235 who was word spinning in order to avoid being caught for plagiarism, but it obviously didn't work so his account got banned. Now he is back (this time with a completely different username uche6215 lol) but again shitposting like in previous attempt. I am sure that he will be back with another creatively named alt account, but can mods pls ban this account since his is obviously ban evading.

Word spinning newbie, please ban this guy: Banned!
Some people may ask, what are the risk in Bitcoin transactions?
And the risk are:
i, Bitcoin payment doesn't come with legal protection such as debit card and credit cards have a high rate of protections just in case something goes wrong ( debit card and credit cards it's traceable).
ii,  Bitcoin payment typically are not revisable.
iii, most informations about Bitcoins transactions are public on the net .
Most Bitcoin investors will not tell you about this.

The moderators have one more proof that the guy who was banned and the guy who put on the same nickname are the same person.
Besides the fact that he is stupid with the choice of nickname, Arabic numerals are still far from him. He uses only Latin throughout.

Seriously, everything is obvious to me. Recently, the forum has been flooded with similar topics from newcomers, and this is starting to bother me already, because, as it seems to me, they are trying to fool us all with such stories for the sake of getting merit.

Finding out the truth is as easy as shelling pears: let uche6215 prove what he said with proofs. Uche6215 says that he previously deleted the application where 0.9BTC was stored, but since now he has access to it (even if he sold it), he will be able to provide the necessary information. Right, uche6215?

We would like to know where is the truth in your words.

My question is, do you still have access to your Bitcoin? 7 years is a long time and a lot of previous exchanges have closed down, so it's pointless if you invest in Bitcoin but you don't have access to it anymore.
Op's story isn't true, but to answer your question separately, exchanges are supposed to be used for buying and selling BTC and not for storing them, either for 7 years or even shorter, i would never be comfortable if i had any of my funds in an exchange, your coins should be in your self custody wallet, so if exchanges bite the dust you are unaffected because your have the keys to your money.
So thinking logically, I agree with your opinion, because apparently the OP is a great example of a spammer who is trying to climb in the ranking so that in the future he will receive Bitcoins for his meaningless posts.
That's it, but they don't have to go through this way, instead of lying about holding BTC for X or Y number of years, they should just invest time to learn about BTC and things related to cryptocurrencies, and ranking up won't be hard anymore.

Zzzzzz. LOL! Don't be too naïve, guys. And please read beyond the OP. How can you easily fall for this kind of story?

Uche6215 is celebrating his/her 7th year as a Bitcoin investor when just a month ago he/she shared that he/she's been a Bitcoin investor for two years. I don't know which planet OP comes from or what kind of calendar he/she is using there, but here on earth and with our standard Gregorian calendar, two years cannot just turn into 7 years after just a month. LOL!

Yeah I also read through the post but is somehow confusing because in the post there was no statement of spending 2 years or 7 years he only stated "Few years" and you know this could be 2 years or even more. So which do we believe now 🤔

Maybe op should be more tactical In creating post because I believe there are smarter people over here who loves digging out information if someone claims what he's not. From the name "Uche6215 " he is a fellow Nigerians. Bro calm down here no be 9ja oo

Well I will say congratulations on your investment because I know it wasn't easy to invest in bitcoin for about 7 years without you panicking of selling while others did.
Then boiled down to those saying how come you invested for many years ago and your account isn't that old, well to clear all doubts about bitcoin there are some people who invested in bitcoin without them haven to come here or even without them knowing there's a Bitcointalk where special discussion about bitcoin is being held. I have came across lots of people and I happens to interview them how they knew about bitcoin none of those people could say is from Bitcointalk rather they kept saying it was from a friend while some said twitter and Facebook.
Thought some only bought and left it on the exchange which I think they gain little knowledge about and that of security purposes. Op might invested when he had no idea of here but finally found here, but nevertheless this could be true or false and how do we know?

I don't know whether true or false in OP's story because there was so much controversy when I read all the replies from other people for the story, it became difficult for me. Smiley
To show the truth it may be necessary to show the amount of bitcoins he has today, with screenshots or anything that does not give a loss to the one who shows it.

But if it's true that being able to hold bitcoins for seven years is such a cool and crazy thing that few people can do that's a great move, maybe if true Op can point out when he made that transaction in thxhas form to clear the doubts of many people here in the story you sir.

I'm not insisting, it's just a suggestion if you want to do it.

Op's story is surely not true, it is not so hard to notice that it is a made up story (~)
I would hardly have noticed your post if we did not use such a marketing strategy as a signature campaign.

Before the launch, we had a very long and detailed conversation about the concept of such advertising and some other details regarding which posters we want to include in the UniJoin campaign, and which posters we should avoid. So thinking logically, I agree with your opinion, because apparently the OP is a great example of a spammer who is trying to climb in the ranking so that in the future he will receive Bitcoins for his meaningless posts.

Obviously, he still has access to his Bitcoin since he's discussing it on the forum. There's no way he lost his private key or seed. But holding onto Bitcoin for seven years is impressive! In life, there may be situations where you need to cash out some of your profits, especially when Bitcoin's price rises to $69k (the highest bitcoin's price peak)

Even I cashed out around $2k at that time to buy a good PC, and I don't regret it, given the current price of Bitcoin. I feel like the price of Bitcoin will increase significantly in the upcoming months, and hopefully, reach another all-time high peak.

if this is true then I will Salute him from holding bitcoin that long because I cannot even bring myself from holding in the whole 5 years .
Op's story is surely not true, it is not so hard to notice that it is a made up story, what they have said in the past about their BTC investment, and what they are saying now do not add up, and i don't want to go into that as another user has already brought some of the facts out earlier in this thread. I think this is the new type of spam in the forum, just bring up stories about your BTC investment, or tell us you now accept BTC in your shop, these posts have been posted by different users so many times in the last few months, it is hard to report it because it is about BTC and it is posted in the BTC discussion board, maybe the right thing to do is to ignore topics like that, through not replying to it, nor sending merits to the Op's.

You should read his post carefully my friend. He bought Bitcoin in 2015 and that time the price of 1 bitcoin was around 200-280$, and that show that the OP has earned more than 100x from his investment into Bitcoin.

I read it very carefully, though—just my doubt in the OP story.

But I have one question for you, OP, if you don't mind: you mean you were not aware about Bitcoin price trend in 2021 that marked a new ATH?

Also, you said you deleted the app where you bought the Bitcoin, so you mean you forgot about 0.9 Bitcoin on a centralized platform for 7 years, if your story is true, that means it was really a bad risk. Bitcoin is not meant to be stored in a centralized exchange or a custodial wallet; store your Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet so you can have full control over your asset. If the exchange you left that coin on was dead, that means they would have made off with your coin.
The 67k Bitcoin in 2021 made a lot of noise, I am surprised that someone locked their Bitcoin away for that long and never decide to check the price? That's unrealistic mate, 2021 was the year that confused many people that think too less of Bitcoin, some people that I advised later DM me on WhatsApp, saying they heard the price of Bitcoin was over 60k, I just laughed at them. OP needs to tell the exact name of the wallet he used to store his Bitcoin at least, im hoping it's not on exchange.

BITCOIN THE EAGLES EYES

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
I have invested in Bitcoin since the gear 2015 and I have hold my coins for a long time I almost forgot about it because I even deleted the application I used to purchase Bitcoin, I have been so forbearing that it was during this cashless policy in my country that I remembered about my investment when I first checked the price of bitcoin I was shocked and I didn't believe my eyes until I sold some of my coins, just imagine that if you bought 0.9 Bitcoin and hold it till now, how will you feel?
I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.

I congratulate you on your success!

I first heard about bitcoin when my friend told me that a revolution was coming in the world of digital assets. It was a few years ago, probably earlier than 2010. I remember for sure that bitcoin was worth $ 100 at that moment.
But at that time I didn't have a good job, I was a student, and therefore I couldn't buy even a part of bitcoin.

Then a friend installed an application on my smartphone and gave me a share of bitcoin. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep it on balance and spent it six months later. Then I deleted this wallet and forgot about bitcoin for a while. I returned in 2015, and a year later I registered on the forum...

Well, only a few people have found Bitcoin's potential to grow because some of them just spend it many years ago without minding if it will reach in today's price. And you are one of those people and I'm really happy with you mate.
Big rewards will come to people who trust Bitcoin and are willing to hold it despite the volatile situation of the market. Because I would tell you that holding for that long ignoring the huge drop was really an extraordinary faith and only a few investors can do that while the majority had already been in panic and selling their BTC.

It's good that it worked pretty well for you, what was exactly the price of Bitcoin when you bought it at first? And did you not sell your coins or a portion of them when the price was above $65k? That must have been the point for you to sell some of it and then hold on to some of the money you got and buy back when it crashed to $16k.

The current price might not be a bad price for someone who bought Bitcoin when it was very low and only started going up, but it is not so good for those who have bought Bitcoin when it was high. Imagine someone who has bought at $50k or above, now all those buyers are still waiting for a recovery.

Is it cool to give a friend bitcoin as a gift on his birthday?
I have a friend who I have been telling about bitcoin for the past 2 weeks now and he's paying more attention to it, on the 1st of March is his birthday party I want to surprise him with $200 BTC because I can't attend his birthday party.
So is it apprised to gift a friend bitcoin at his birthday party?
His story can be true as if he wanted to give  his friend $200 gift in bitcoin, he would have enough bitcoin to give it away. It makes sense to give away $200 that is ~ 0.007 to 0.01 BTC months ago when he has 0.9 bitcoin.

He helped his friend to pay hospital bill with 0.046591 BTC too.

I have seen a lot of these self congratulatory threads pop up. And it gets unbelievable to me the more I see them. I read through the OP and of course, I didn’t believe a word he/she wrote. Reading through the congratulations replies, I came upon your comment quoting the OP on his first experience with bitcoin and I wondered if people missed it.

My first experience about Bitcoin,
I was busy saying Bitcoin is a scam for about let me say 1 year and some month not untill a friend of mine was into forex trading so I visited him and I was watching what he was doing so one day he made a big hit for about $2000 for just a night. And That's what push me more to trade Bitcoin with forex trading I didn't pay to learn.

According to the OP, he had been very ignorant about bitcoin, claiming it to be a scam not until a year and some months ago when he visited and watched a friend of his make a big hit while forex trading. That big hit was all it took to change his mind about bitcoin. Then he remembered rather suddenly his bitcoin he conveniently bought and forgot years ago when he was still screaming bitcoin to be a scam.

You must be happy because you own that huge amount of bitcoin in your wallet. I don't know where you hold it, but make sure that it is not in exchange, as you know you don't own it because you don't have the private key on that wallet. I am also amazed at those people who are able to hold bitcoin for more than five years because they have self-discipline and have not been tempted to sell it off in previous ATHs. Those who forgot that they bought bitcoin are lucky because they still figured it out and were able to open their wallets.

I mean that's the definition of luck on a Bitcoin investment, and that's one way you could invest in Bitcoin, just buy Bitcoin and completely forget about it then huuuualaa easy profit.

If I'm the one holding that Bitcoin I will be really happy because that's a big amount of money but probably I would complete the 1 Bitcoin because why not? Also, it's not a good time to sell at this moment because the market is just starting to get hyped probably wait till it reaches All time high again, and then would think if I would sell it at that high or even higher.

Not the best time to sell, but there's nothing wrong with him wanting to sell it now, as profit taking is never wrong, and at the current price, he made a huge profit. We are all looking forward to a new ATH, but the future is unpredictable, so there is no need to be too greedy. If it were me, I would sell some and hold the rest.

OP, you could hold your bitcoin for 7yrs. This is a bold step that you took, since you understood that holding your investment for long will generate you more profit. I wish I could try this strategy of your to hold up to this years, but I will always be tempted to sell at every ATH of bitcoin. I guess you could hold for this long, because you lost access to your investment which helped your bitcoin to accumulate to 0.9btc,which you bought between the price range of $200-$300 in 2015. Bitcoin price is $30,this shows that in bitcoin investment, patient is all that one need to hit it big. You can sell at this price because you have made enough profit. I am holding my coins and waiting till 2025 bull market before I will sell it,so that I can make some good profit from it.
