Should we take out the spreadcoin code?
Maybe that will stop the forking.
I'll make a hardfork soon.

I think taking out the Spreadcoin code and rolling back the blockchain to 40,000 is the best option. Everything was fine until the Spreadcoin based staking began. If they wish to have the final staking blocks at 5000 they should just keep it they way they first implemented the stake blocks and not make it more complicated than it needs to be. If it is not broken do not fix it, yes?

send you link with my backup plan i had and implemented code in blackcoin source/base to help the hard fork faster.( could also get nova coin base) we really need to have the coin working again. not able to pos a pos coin is not good Smiley

though i keep promoting ppl to buy if we can't pos.

i believe in the idea behind the coin and i won't give up. !!!  Grin

Does anyone know what this is?  That is not my wallet address (all of my wallets have labels like the one that says wallet3) but it appears in my history like a block I mined.  I have seen a few of these, each with a different address, some of them happened when I was forked so they disappeared after I resynced but this one made it into the main chain.

txid: 4db08faabc35c2c94f8c45b5ef2afc35c71e060d83dbfcc32e2e42fe44d64679

go to console and hit listaddressgroupings
this will tell you all the addresses currently into your wallet and their balance
it may be one of your addresses that receive change

I do see it listed there along with a number of others that I do not recognize.  If these are all mine where did they come from and why are they not listed under the receive tab where the addresses I generated are listed?
because your wallet.dat have a informations from right and forked chain now. But database not have that info that's why you are now synchronization successfully at start because you wallet.dat find same with fixed database lns ends in some checkpoint but to next checkpoint you are again come back to your own fork and start download a txid from your wallet.dat. Check your debug log now for more clear info about your address. And same situation would be take a place around. Fix that by the way like that want to do dev and MinerTWXnot impossible now. Because they are already twice now fixed a forked chains variant and now database have a lot of issues same type like you see. You understand what I'm say now?

No, no, no, no
mellon, please don't tell him things like these!
I already explained why this is happening, it is perfectly normal!
Its not so normal.Yes adresses are generated automatically its right,But to send any transaction to someone you must know adress(public key) How you get new adress in your wallet you are click on "New address" button and only after that new adress(public key) generated automatically(its mean that you are cannot set public key manually only mark it by label for more comfortable use). Each public key for each new transaction automatically generated private key but you are always see in history public keys of your wallets and public keys another wallets if your are withdraw funds.Private keys uses for sync with blockchain and for sending transaction to the current public key,if you are do mistake when you send funds on incorrect adress you are lost your funds.Because each transaction have only one right public/private key pair.
Edit: Wallet adresses (public keys) generates automatically but you are manage that process manualy(you must press button "new adress". To receive any funds from anybody you must share your public key to opponent. If you are not  generated new public key (so you are not know adress and you are never receive on the unknown adress any funds because anyone not know that adress and right public/private pair for transaction cannot be found ). Its already include a PoS rewards scheme. In receive coins history you see ever only adress that you manage for automatic generated. And mark it by own label to each adress "wallet3" on screenshoot. You can easy check it : open any wallet of any PoS crypto currency that you have and look on it. So here not.you say about that he always marked his adresses in wallet if he generate it. But he not generate that adress and PoS reward cannot be sends to that adress but he see it,Thats not normal only if not.you forget to mark it or may be anyone else do that and not say to him Smiley And not forget also that its a PoS reward transaction so that adress was generated minimum 8 hours before and also have any balance for staking.

GUYS.

Stop staking and wait on the dev. Ppl still trying to stake make it only worse. Buy it for now while price is cheap is best option.

Again stop staking too many ppl see they stake like crazy on a fork and they won't update and cause that forks keep alive in many chains and that makes the rest fork all the time also.

MY best advice i can give for now. STOP STAKING

qt wallets generate an address automatically each time you send coins to someone, in order to receive change
a different address is used each time... then this address participates to your total availiable balance
the wallet never tells you which address is used to send/receive coins and when
so, if you see them using listaddressgroupings, these addresses are all yours and belong to this wallet

if you have a private key for your main address and attempt to import it to another wallet, you will NOT get your whole balance in the new wallet, only what is left to this address.... you would need all the private keys to all addresses generated by your wallet

It is a bit complicated but that is how all Bitcoin (qt) clients work to protect your privacy

edit: and yes, coins can be lost if you don't know how change addresses work and have the illusion you are using only one address (or two, or three, as many as you generated). In fact, a new address is generated each time you send coins to another address and can be used independently. This is the normal behavior of QT clients.

If you resync crawler with this:

connect=91.121.6.19
addnode=91.121.6.19
maxconnections=1
listen=0
staking=0

then it sholuld stay in sync and skip dnsseed?

aquitasIJ:

When you get online. Please check your pm's
Now crawler gets forked doing nothing also.

My advise unless you have a lot of time to keep resyncing. Stop staking and buy up all cheap lodge until permanent fix is around.

P.s. i just resynced crawler node it was forked but back to checkpoint server.
i am on same chain also now

all 3 hardcoded seednodes are on different chain
can anyone post on which one is the checkpointing node

91.121.6.19 = checkpoint server
explorer is not same chain as node

gonna resync crawler node yet again then
connect() to 91.121.6.19:17014 failed after select(): Connection refused
do you have rpcallowip=* in the main node conf file?
If not maybe can you add it, seems its refusing connections again

my bad
try add
listen=1
to the main node
so it wont refuse connections

there is an issue for other PoS coins (also for asiacoin, peercoin and paycoin and most likely others) which now appeared for LDOGE as well:

Quote
Safe mode: WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers. (code -2)

their solution might also be fixing our problems:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11111115
Same issues have been fixed by blackcoin,Spreadcoin and FailCoin Developers Teams I'm can garantied that. That's why I'm PM MinerTFw two days ago about that and it's would be much more helpfully to look on their source. At first on FailCoin because they are used script algo too.

ok i see. i slightly edited my post to make it more clear what the issue is.
Look on my big post and logs in it. I'm hope you are understand all that I'm write in it. Because now you are one who are hear me and understand right what I'm posted. If you are have any questions or any help PM me at any time, already Dev from FailCoin Team now is on exams,but it sent me info about what he have a problem and how he fix it when exams ends.but I'm know that he make hardfork with relaunch and he is can fix it only after one week of hard work on new blockchain.
