Its really hard to make such a decision .You have need 100% confidence on your trading before quit your job .Trading is always profitable if you are a good trader .You said you have 4 years experience i think its enough to be a good trader but remind that trading is always so risky .You have to put your best on research hopefully you will be always on profit site .Be the best of luck mate.

12 years in trading, and 4 years crypto trading you must be very confidence in trading activity and have a lot of experience with that. Actually that is what people must do, because some others do something reckless and quit their job after get first profit and think trading is best way to earn money. So, good luck for OP.

It is a slightly controversial decision because if you choose to quit in your real job and choose to do full time trading it will be a little risky, try to contemplate, it might be when you succeed but what if you fail? won't you regret your decision?

I think sharing what you are doing is a good way to show the world that you didn't quit your job to become a full time crypto trader out of nothing. Most people would tell you that you are a moron for doing something like this because bitcoin is unpredictable and many of them do not profit the way a successful trader does but as long as you keep sharing your trades here and they see that you are the real deal they will realize that maybe it wasn't such a bad idea for you.

I am more of a long term investor myself so I didn't went the exact same route that you did but I have kept working and working real hard for bitcoin to make money and kept it aside and now I am capable of living without going to work somewhere, I still work and make money on bitcoin like you but not trading, just putting my effort. People like you do give hope to people who dream of what you are doing. You are a legend, keep up the great work.

Closed. Even though the move is not really sharp, the number of contracts matters. But always set it up according to your risks
Also let's remember its only one market. What I do is watching around 10-15 markets and waiting for the perfect set ups. More practice and anyone is able to do so

In general, if there is a constant price movement, and you are good enough in this, and there is a small buffer or, let's say, a supply of fiat money. It is quite possible to leave work and live in a crypt.

You have had a risky decision in life. because trading is not an area for anyone. The job requires participants to have a cool head and perform some golden rules.
but if you feel like it, you will definitely learn very quickly. Anyway, wish you luck and hope your decision to give up your current job is correct.

It's a very brave management, I hope you can be lucky in the two crypto trading and don't regret your decision
Brave it is and if the things he have said is true then good for him. Just don't like the idea of quitting our full time job for this trading crypto thing where uncertainty is very high. He might regret later his decision.

The earliest investors in crypto are now full time crypto geeks but they make sure they have other sources of income as well. If you have other sources of fluent income flow for your needs, you are very welcome to leave your job and become a full time crypto trader but if the scenario is not like this, it is going to be pretty dangerous for you to do so. Dangerous in the sense that you are risking many things by relying on the income from full time crypto trading.

That is right, and I think he can do both full-time job and trading at the same times so he can have two sources of income which will give him more money. Besides that, he can use some of his income from those jobs to invest more in crypto, and I am sure that it will give him more profit in the future. But the decision has been made, and we could only wish that he can always make a profit in every time he trade.

it is not a problem as long as you really focus on trading and making profits, because trading is a job that might be uncertain. but if you dare to behave and be consistent with trading you can overcome all your financial problems
Since the market behaves in so many different ways, I feel it is way too important for OP to have a back up plan and that would be when you has another way to financing his needs. That way, it would not bother him to be part of crypto market and trade full time. Or it is possible when you have some good amount of money in your current account.

Hope it's good decision for you and luck always be with you.

Actually I'm not interest to do full time on crypto, I better focus on stock exchange because the value is reasonable.
You can earn profit today but you will loss in next time and the chance is increase exponentially

Not your Keys, not your Bitcoin
I see that you have great trades lately, i will follow in a next one. Congratz for quiting your job to start trading for living. This is my end goal, I just started learning more about TA, and I found that interesting more than my first profession.
There is nothing as interesting as sitting down at the comfort of your home, on you pc to make money more than those who are doing office work, there is not going to be any stress of a boss shouting on you for coming late and not doing this and that.

Although trading is not easy because it requires some brain works too but I will rather prefer to do it to some stressful jobs we have out there. So I am also hoping that one day, I will quit my stressful job for trading but my challenge has been that I don’t have time to fully learn trading deeply and practice it, because to become a pro trader, you must have dedicated lots of time to it I think.
The current market all the jobs are stressful work because if you use your brain automatically stress level is increase in human body. But traders are must active in crypto market at the same we can explore all the area so stress level is decrease in crypto trading.

Indeed looks like a piece of art. May you please explain the abbreviation? Cannot get it

Thank you a lot!

Hey. Here are the most popular price action abbreviations. Gonna add some more charts on that later as soon as they appear

1. dblhc - double bar low with a higher close on second bar
2. dbhlc - double bar high with a lower close on second bar
3. beovb - bearish outside verticle bar; second bar totally encompasses the
prior bar with a lower close on the second. usually signals a continuation
of the current trend
4. buovb - bullish outside vertical bar

Thumbs up for your mentality!
It is indeed a brave move to do so.

There is an old german saying: "If you do not dare, you can not lose anything!"

Trading cryptocurrencies is probably one of the most profiting businesses one can do currently.
If you are able to compound over time and have a decent risk management, the odds of succeeding will turn to your favour.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you keep updating this thread!  Smiley
