When I saw this thread and replied to it, I realized that the crash game could be similar to the cash-out option in sports betting, as we end the bet early to secure a profit, even though there’s a chance to earn more. This often leads to regret when we see that it could have delivered a bigger profit. Do you think there’s a similarity in any sense?

It's the basic tenant of gambling and risk itself, it's the unknown, so if you don't want to risk then cash it out. However, I will tell that you should not feel that regret in the end because you obviously doesn't have the courage to continue with the game and see how far can you go, that is a lesson learned from us. So there is the advantage and disadvantage of it and at the end of the day, it's your decision to stop and take profits.

But at least though in sports betting, you have control, and maybe think logically. In crash, there is none, it should be instant as before you knew it, before the multiplier crashes. Also it's skills vs luck, in sports betting, there is skills that's why again as I have said, you have enough time to think about early cash out.

So for me, there's a big difference between the two.

I don't think there are similarities between cashout in sports and crash games. Cashout in crash games are only available as long as the plane keeps flying higher but the moment it crashes it disappears. Cashout in sports betting remains stable or keeps increasing as long as the game is going according to your prediction. Sports betting is more better than crash games in so many ways. The house edge in crash games is one thing makes it hard to make profit from. I'm a gambler that has experimented on both sides and I can say that it's better to stick to sports betting.

I'd say that there is quite a major difference between sports betting and crash games. Like every other casino game out there, they are built on engineered algorithms that are designed to be profitable for the casino only - the player might take short term wins but will never win long term. They are designed to give the illusion of player control, but that is the funny thing about gamblers, as they often have an endless greed and sow the seeds of their own (financial) destruction. It is the buzz that everyone is chasing, the "just one more" before I go mentality that keeps so many people hooked on these games. Even if you win once, they almost expect you to plow the money straight back in again chasing a greater high.

Yes, there are some similarities, in the case of the crush game, we cash out the game after seeing the possibility of the rocket falling and stop it, but here we cash out the game before seeing the possibility of the rocket falling. However, in this case, the game should be stopped before the rocket falls because here the rocket can fall at any time and we can lose the bet. On the other hand, in sports betting, cash out can be done based on the result before the match ends, but there is a big difference even though there are some similarities. The difference is that in sports betting, if cash out is done before the match ends, and if the result of the match changes after cash out, here the odds may change if the result is in favor, but the holder may regret it.

Actually, if you look further, the scheme is a bit similar where all decisions are ultimately in our own hands whether to continue to the end or stop halfway.

And, if you look even further, all games of chance relay in the same principle: the higher the risk, the higher the potential profit. On the other hand, it is no different from investments, where the higher returns are often linked to higher risks (like in venture capital).

So, if you look for similarities, you'll find out that this is not something specific between cashing out early in sports and in crash games, but common in all random-based disciplines. The difference is that in some of them you can't finish early. But we could make the analogy even with Bitcoin: hodl forever and risk a decline with no future recovery, or secure profits by selling when the price is good enough?

But there is a slight difference between crashes and sports betting where we are certainly aware that the crash pattern is actually simple where we can determine where we will jump without caring what will happen later whether there will be a bigger increase or stop but in sports betting the results can be certain but at some moments it becomes difficult to get certainty.

Like in soccer betting where everything is focused on the 90 minutes so for example when the club we bet on is comfortably ahead then there is no reason to abandon the bet and run until the end because it will be a definite advantage in contrast to crashes where we don't know where they will stop.

That's one thing people do not understand in gambling, you don't need to be greedy in anything that has to do with gambling, so gambling is game of less interest and you need to be smart during gambling, if you have a reasonable option that is higher than the funds you use to stake in the gambling, you have to ensure that you secure your capital first and if their is a reasonable profit you can cash out without hesitation, but some people out of greediness that make them to lose what a profit they're supposed to make.
Yeah that is the real truth about it because most people are always greedy when it comes to cash out, without noing that prevention is better than cure. At least as a good gambler once you're been offer a cash out that is bigger than the amount you used in the game it will better for one to cash it out rather than waiting for the game to end then at last you ended up regretting which is very wrong decisions. However, just like me ever since I experience such thing in gambling wherever I place a bet I don't wait for the game to finish again, I always cash out on time to avoid being regret at last.

There is a similarity and it lies in psychology. And that is cashing out early to avoid the risk that is involved in doing otherwise. Both are simply keeping losses small and making bigger profits than their bet. Both aims to avoid the regret that comes when the outcome is what was not anticipated. If we study this closely, we could even find other games that share the same similarities.

Trying out to compare betting into some casino games is never been the same.We do know that when it comes to crash games then its something giving out that instant result when it comes to the outcome of such roll on which it will really be that up to you whether you do cash out early or not. It might be on the same principle since we are talking about having some cash out early decisions be made. The only difference is that pretty obvious on which comparing out a pure luck based games than into those things that involves application of analysis and skills about on betting on a certain sports. We do know that the odds or chance of winning could really be that affected out basing into your knowledge towards into a certain sport.

In regarding about cash out feature generally then it will be that up to you on how you do handle up things accordingly. If you arent that having the behavior on trying out to observe things accordingly and really just that wanting for you to play up even more despite of the loses you do make then it is really that showing that you arent that good when it comes to self control and moderation on which we know that this isnt really suggested or recommended on the time that you do deal up with this space.

Almost similar in that you can cash out before the match ends or in crashes before the rocket falls.

The difference in sports betting is that there is still hope until the end and depending on which team is chosen with it, if the game turns around then the bookies will offer smaller or even nothing to be able to cash out.

What is clear is that both types of bets have the option to cash out.

I don't consider both to be similar aside from the fact that you have the chance to take something before it could lead to nothing; the crash game always is unpredictable. You can lose everything just after you click on a bet without even having the chance to get anything out of it.

That regret some people feel on the crash game for cashing out early is just pure greed if you ask me. What if the game ended just a few minutes after you cashed out?

Will the person still feel the regret or not? Cashout on sports betting is far better than crash games. You sit down to predict your game, and you also have a few minutes to decide which chance is far better: wait till the end of the game and take the whole winnings or just cash out and avoid the risk, which crash doesn't give you such an option.

Yes I think there is a similarity between them in as much there is that cash out chances either before the game crashes or the sport games wraps it rounds up to an end.

They both have the cash out options to optimize players take profits if they had been lucky to be of the winning role even while the game is still ongoing and so on as well once accepted the cash out you automatically exists halfway either to breach potential of loosing it all or you misses out to take huger amount of wager when the game wraps up.

Difference being in sports betting the end is fixed and you can't decide to continue after that point. In crash there's no pre-fixed cap, unless you have chosen that exit point before the game, so your greed can grow almost indefinitely.

Also, in crash, you have no sense of the future outcome, unlike following the game live.

I remember someone posted a screenshot of his crash bet a long time ago in this forum as well. He was seen regretting why he didn't cashed out. It suddenly plunges.

I also figured in the Crash game, the player's money also fluctuates while the plane still flies so there is no fixed amount until you click the button. It's safer to just cash out when you are not sure how it will end.  The greed I think is caused by how much the player has lost since he started playing casino games, hard to win in these mini games.

I would say there are no similarities among them. With cash out in sports games you are typically seeing two options if you could leave it or take the offer. And there is a timeline you can give yourself to cash out in case you decide to leave it for some time. But in crash games every single time you wait you become closer to losing if you don't take your profit. Also, there is no consistency in the game so you might want to find a pinpoint to cash out. In the end, the crash game is more terrible when it comes to risk.

Technically you are right. There are so many similarities because they both involve deciding the right moment to make a profit or minimize loss before things go south. But there is a difference in terms of time factors. In sports games, the cash-out offer might remain till the game ends. You will have a hedge over your bet and the offer increases as long as the game is going your way but in crash games, you are watching a multiplier increasing and hoping to cash out before the game crashes. You do not know the end, as the game might end in a few seconds after thinking you should wait more.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Yes of course there is a difference in cashouts in crash and Sportsbook games.
Crash games do have to cashout at the beginning to secure your winnings, there is no waiting at the end because the rocket is definitely falling, so as much as possible can cashout at the beginning if you think the multiplier is enough.
Sports betting depends on the match so the bookies will usually change your chances of winning to cashout, including in terms of games and scores.

There is some similarities but also major differences. Cash-out amount changes as the score of the match changes, it could go up if the expected outcome is looking likely, go down if it is unlikely and even get removed altogether. In crash, the odds only goes up till it stops and you either have jumped safely out or you crash.
