Quick update: Tesla hasn't sold any Bitcoin(probably besides the 10% previously). At least, for now.

Thankfully Elon has stopped Tweeting about Bitcoin for now.

Despite their statement of declaration that Tesla will not sell their coins held, I speculate that they might have sold it days later. Elon appears to be behaving similar to the average cryptocoin trader in the forum after dumping hehehe.

Also, why would Elon continue to risk $1 billion of shareholder’s money by destroying Tesla’s own investment in bitcoin? Tesla might not be holding bitcoin anymore!

I don't think that this is the case.

It is highly unlikely that Musk would risk a potential case with the SEC in terms of market manipulation just to earn a few hundred million bucks by cashing out before notifying the rest of the market is informed.

But I do believe that inevitably, TSLA's bitcoin position will be unwound. They do not seem to be in the BTC business for the long run at all. Musk is more of a circus show that is currently playing to the beat of the speculative mania.

well, I also think that Tesla is selling the coins they hold. however, I didn't think about the numbers. it's just that the current decline is really quite impactful. it is certain that many coins were sold so the price decreased to the way it is today. maybe he wrote like that to appease other holders.
Let him sell all his coins and allow the bitcoin market a breathing space the recent decline in the price of bitcoin had shown how massive Elon Musk dumped his bitcoin, however whatever happens bitcoin will surely recover, this is not the first time bitcoin will witness such a rapid dump and consequently regains it bullish sentiment thereafter its a pity that the elites and the rich will continue to have much influence and manipulate the price of bitcoin having invested massively in it, how I wish this tide ends once and for-all which quite unlikely,

This is old news but it's related to the topic now.

Musk Says Tesla Sold Bitcoin to Prove Liquidity as Cash Alternative

Quote
Elon Musk said Tesla Inc. sold 10% of its Bitcoin holdings to demonstrate the token’s liquidity, while adding that he’s retained his personal investment in the cryptocurrency.
It's okay if this is what happens, but if they will sell their bitcoin for good, or have sold it already, then it will eventually affect the market badly especially if they will make an announcement again that they did that or will do that.

It's his strategy to be able to acquire more when the price dips, I doubt if he already sold all his holdings, maybe just a portion of it to get an impact in the market and see what other holders will do. Our only option is to join the FOMO or just relax when the price dips and buy more whatever our decision we must take into consideration that crypto is getting more adoption so holding and acquiring more can still be in our option but we must learn to trade to properly grows it.

Elon's is like a joker character he always having fun with something very important matters especially afterwards he already know he's gonna win the race with those billioners... wherein even some of his fans will become upset because of what he's doing. He doesn't care about criticism also.
When ever Elon Musk makes fun there will be a huge impact on the market and we have seen that time and again and if he is still holding the Bitcoin he invested through his company then he is having a high risk fun because his company is holding billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin and who knows whether he wanted to trigger a crash and now the market is going down and till now there is no interest from big investors yet and the next couple of days is crucial to know the direction of the market.

Elon has clarify that speculation several hours ago if TESLA hasn't sold any bitcoin. Case closed.
So all this spilled over to Elon Musk because they were the cause of the shitposting? wow
But Elon Musk's direct clarification is not wholly convincing except in a special tweet that the $ 20 drop-in bitcoin was not his doing but indeed market conditions that had come to an end.
Ahhh, so indeed this is full of drama which Elon is still an aspiring artist. LOL Grin

I also think Elon has already did that. He cannot be holding at least a billion USD worth of Bitcoin while at the same time criticizing it. That is a suicide for him. He must have already sold a lot or all of it before starting to issue statements against Bitcoin. But it is his decision. He is the owner of his Bitcoin. He is absolutely free to do so.

I think Elon is behaving more childish than an average crypto trader.
correct he will not let it that happen while making issues with bitcoin it's definitely a suicide. Lol . And also he might joking and having fun with tesla because of the results after hes testimonials.. I don't think so. This guy may pretend towards his community and fans he has sold Tesla's bitcoins to lure another investors to sell their coins and dump the market, but in fact Elon keeps his bitcoins intact on the wallet waiting for a new ATH.

He plays with words all the time, constantly changing his statements every few days.
Today he says bitcoin isn't good for the environment, but tomorrow he can say the issue is already being fixed, so bitcoin is not going to be harmful anymore. I hope sooner or later investors get tired of these jokes and stop taking him seriously when investing in crypto market.

Even i am thinking on the same line, if not he would not come up with the theory of carbon emission and the high electricity usage if he is holding billions worth of Bitcoin and then all of a sudden withdraws accepting Bitcoin as a payment for Tesla and he wants the price to go down and may be he will be investing again, who knows what his intentions are either way it is not good for the market.

I speculate that they may be also buying them back slowly at discounted price.
And if they started a pump and dump game, they'll be doing it again, and again, as long as the (lack of) laws and the weak hands allows them profit from this.

That's most probably their game plan.
I'm not gonna be surprised If Tesla and Elon would be announcing another gimmick in the social media to further pull Btc's price down.
He even teases on selling his remaining holdings, which will most likely be announced on the latter.

He better be honest with his statement this time, because If he lies, this would be a ground for market manipulations.

It's not far from happening, we don't know what they are thinking but we know for sure that businessman does not invest to loss. They might sell their BTC because they already make a profit on it, and then they can continue with the reputation of the business. I read somewhere that it could be a law or taxation matter which gives them a hard time, so selling their bitcoin will make it less complicated for them.

Actually they admit selling 10% of their coins so that means they already did.

It would actually be very bullish if Tesla decides to sell ALL their Bitcoins. Go ahead, crash the market. That would make Elon Musk shut up, and stop trolling the community. Good riddance.
and a chance for us to buy much more in the lowest it can be before finally breaking the 100,000$ value.

Elon might be a troll but he is not stupid.
He knows that lying again about his companies activities will get him in trouble for real this time, he took the time to mention even the last time that they haven't sold any bitcoin and has made again the same statement. He knows that unlike when you're just trolling about doge going to the moon or bitcoin pollution those are just personal opinions and the SEC will not care about them directly posting misleading information about a company could be seen as market manipulation.

How much money does he have? What's 1 billion for Tesla?
People should stop projecting their own lifestyle and choices and think Elon is doing the same, carrying about a 10% drop in his fortune.

You have $20k in life savings in a bank, you lose $5000, that a tremendous hit for the average Joe, Elon could lose not 25% but 99% he would still have enough money to buy a brand new Ferrari each day for the rest of his life. Besides, it's not like Tesla is his only company, he has Spacex with Starlink and Neuralink as toys, and besides he has sold his shares in the company previously, he is not chained by a single company as Tesla as Bezos or Gates are.

Elon Musk is a great player he has a great influence on the community. Once he says I am selling people panic and sell all the coins they have to stay safe on the other hand I am sure that he bought at a lower rate once he has enough he will make another tweet (Positive for Bitcoins).

It's all manipulation.

Dumping coins at high, then creating FUD and buys back low. Such a great strategy, I speculate Tesla didn't sold entire their portfolio but a portion. Elon will keep winning and we will be losing our position. Don't following like a sheep, don't give any value to this guy. I'm done with him, people need to stop talking Elon Musk and Tesla.
Well that's not how some of the crypto addicts on Twitter does their work, they follow what's trending and bullshit themselves into thinking that following the flow without thinking is the best strategy. My advice is that we just hodl and wait for it to go back up, and if you have spare money, buy at this red times since it is basically a sale for bitcoin.

He has done what he wants including selling some of his coins, behaving like this, and does Elon Musk want to destroy bitcoin investment completely, or does he just want to be part of the dump so he can trawl from a low price?
His influence is huge but I am sure he will definitely buy back bitcoin at a low price then make more statements about bitcoin. It is not strange for him to all want to know how Elon Musk wants to increase his popularity in the bitcoin market. This means that the real whale is him.
