Both, spend some and hodl some. I have needs that cannot wait for bitcoin to reach above 10K so I have to spend or convert to fiat. But those I can save, I hodl for long term.
I Still Have to Buy Anything Using Bitcoin because  I  want to hold on to the Bitcoin we have as much as possible because even if there are times when Bitcoin can dip in value the overall trend is going up. Just now, there is a retreat in the value of Bitcoin but it is just gathering some inertia before jumping into a higher wall. It is essential for e to buy anything using bitcoin.

For me i can say both. Especially during my early days of earning btc. I probably spent around more than 2 full bitcoins already when it wasn't as expensive as today. Though right now i've realized that mistake and am holding on as much as possible without spending.

Are you a speculator or a spender?
I am both speculator and spender. The most things that i want using Bitcoin is a gaming rig or computer gaming rig so i can play anything that i want in computer also i want to saves money or invest money in bitcoin for my future. Spending and speculating is the best thing to do with your Bitcoin. That was your money so its ok to spend it to things you need and want to buy but save some money for your future.
My suggestion are speculation is risk and harmful to Bitcoin. Because this is almost gambling. Most traders are not involved in gambling. But investing is the best choice in traders. I prefer also investment is the much good. This have only small profit for traders and it will continuous gain in Bitcoin. So investment is the knowledge and constant benefit for traders. But speculation is only luck for traders.

I do not think that now it makes sense to buy products and things for bitcoins. I see the most profitable prospects in its storage in the long term, or at least sell and buy it during the growth and fall of the price. Although, if you have many bitcoins, you have nothing to worry about. But still, I think bitcoin is able to give you a lot more if you keep it for future time.

I prefer to keep my very small number of bitcoins in peace. There is every reason to believe that bitcoin is a very profitable investment in the long run. In addition, in order to sell and buy a crypto currency, you need to have an analytical mind and skills to make it profitable. I'm new to this sphere, and I do not want to risk it. Meanwhile, the bikoin slowly but surely grows. So I think I'm doing it right.

I have a confession to make: I still have to buy anything online using my Bitcoin. Of course, I am not including the coins/tokens I bought during their ICOs. Except for that, I have not used my Bitcoin for anything because I am actually treating Bitcoin as a way for me to save rather than a currency to spend.

In other words, I am also a speculator just like most of us here. We want to hold on to the Bitcoin we have as much as possible because even if there are times when Bitcoin can dip in value the overall trend is going up. Right now, there is a retreat in the value of Bitcoin but it is just gathering some inertia before jumping into a higher wall.

Don't feel bad, I haven't purchased anything besides other alt coins with Bitcoins. I'm mostly a speculator and will probably be for the foreseeable future unless its for a hardware wallet. As some have mentioned there are issues with large fees, which probably holds a lot of people such as myself back from spending. However I think the price will go up to new heights, and when I accumulate more and when Bitcoin becomes more adopted by the general public then maybe I'll use it to buy items.

Right now I'm more of a holder but I do like to gamble on casino and sports bets, so although that is not the same as buying things on a store, it still counts as spending bitcoins I guess. I confess I don't really like to spend bitcoin, because of what you said, but we think that maybe we must spend a little from time to time, because if we don't, then bitcoin will never be a real alternative to fiat.

I use bitcoin all the time for both buying and selling. I don't plan on selling BTCs for fiats, though I hope that the buying power of a single bitcoin rises. I think of bitcoin as independent of fiat, not as "I am going to save these bitcoins so I can sell them for dollars later!" Seeing BTC as a mere speculative stock type of deal really undermines its power.

I see money as energy. I see money as a tool. I donate BTC to organizations I support without jeopardizing myself by association, and I pay for subscriptions and services (like email) with bitcoin. I've convinced a few friends from other countries about BTC so I can send them money without most of the cash being eaten up by fees. Even if the value of BTC will skyrocket in the future, I am okay with other companies or people having the BTC I pay them because I believe in whatever product or cause they are selling. I see the BTC I give them as energy that replicates itself, and the BTC I get from others, I see it as energy that replicates itself.

I don't see the point in holding bitcoin just for the sake of it. You don't save and invest money just for the sake of having a lot, you do it with a purpose in mind, to spend it. You might've arrived to bitcoins with the purpose to pump n dump and make your money, but hopefully you'll get to harness its real power. Save your money, but go ahead and spend SOME of it to keep the economy running, and don't forget to get paid in BTC as well. That's where the real value of BTC lies anyway.

Don't feel bad about it, for starters.

I have bought one thing, about 4 years ago now, online, using Bitcoin. Nowadays I am being more of a speculator and doing the same kinds of things most people are probably doing with their Bitcoin on exchanges, and I am relatively comfortable with that kind of style and performance within the marketplace and community. There isn't really anything that I really want to buy these days, so why not make the most out of what I have available to me?
I suggest the same to everyone. If a person is not in a deadly need of money, he must not waste bitcoins on buying regular stuff that he can buy using fiat also. Bitcoin price will definitely double in a month or two so it is better to hold on this coin for as long as possible. This way, we can get really huge profits and make a luxurious future. However, if someone has no other income source, he must use his bitcoins.
You're correct senior and the dump in price which happened to bitcoin was because of the situation which happened in China. Once the situation is under control bitcoin will pump back so I don't see any reason in spending bitcoin as if it was fiat.

I am a SPENDER  Grin actually every earnings I get from signature campaign were spent and use to my monthly expenses but I won't regret that because the reason why I do bitcoin is to have additional income to support my finances and that is happening now, bitcoin helps me a lot. maybe in future time if I became financially independent I would to keep my bitcoin as a sort of investment for my future.

I used to spend any Bitcoin I got in my hands, back in the days where the price was at $400. Didn't know much then and spent it like it was free money (I used to make quite a large amount of BTC with faucets and similar sites back then). I don't need to tell you how much I regret doing that. Not to mention that I kept exchanging the rest BTC I didn't spend into fiat currency with Paypal.

Well, I got my lesson, I'm not going to spend even the slightest bit again.

I also treat Bitcoin as my savings and never did I spent it to buy something other than trading. Also, it is a good way to save Bitcoin since we know that in the long run that it will value more than what it is now. If what you call with us is a speculator then I am. I don't spend it as long as it is badly needed.
Me also, my earning in bitcoin was always saved in my trusted online wallet because i know that bitcoin value will be increase in the future, but when my salary was not enough for our expenses then that is the time i spend some of my bitcoin.
Also for now i cant used bitcoin to buy directly the thing i need because bitcoin is not yet fully adopted in my country that is why for now i just keep on collecting for the family of my future.

I am speculator due to invested my money in bitcoin and other digital coins, actually there are no off line stores which accept bitcoin for payment method daily on my local area, except online store. But slow or fast in my speculation the off line stores will accept the bitcoin for my transaction, although it will needs long time until happen based on the internet users starting growth on here, it is just about the time to spend my bitcoin.

Ofcourse yes you can buy anything by using this but for me first i will  convert it into real money to buy anything like my friend he buys anything that he want becase he have a lot of bitcoin as far as now.

Isn't that how its suppose to be? After earning i tend to spend the profited amount leaving my original money still in a wallet while converting others to fiat cash. I would say i am spender but the money i invested would not be touched until there had been enough earnings. I do agree that most of us here are speculators waiting and hording until its the right time to sell.

i must say that im a spender but not totally because i speculate for what can be next that would be happen. spender because this is where my family needs came from and also im doing too like yours exchange it to cash but not all for what left i always add some here for someday it will grow more. because after spending it after i got my needs do i say that im a speculator too.

Many people use bitcoin for various purposes.
They are buying bitcoin to online work of the investment and trading site.
Again they use bitcoin for online Shopping.
But I'm bitcoin buying only for trading work.
