Virwox is the safest site I know that allows you to use PayPal/Skrill to buy Bitcoin or to convert Bitcoin to USD and withdraw. When I first got into crypto in 2013 I was using them all the time, these days however, can't beat Circle  Cool They do have some hefty fees when you first join but the more you use them, the less you pay.

I think you cant use Paypal in Circle.
Correct me if I'm wrong

No, can't use PayPal, only credit/debit cards and bank accounts. But seriously they're the best site for buying Bitcoin, their service fee is small and you get your Bitcoin instantly. I got in on invite right at the beginning and I find absolutely no reason to go anywhere else for BTC. The only thing that might bother some is the $500 weekly limit when using cards but I personally don't buy that much  Smiley

No one will you sell Bitcoins using Paypal pornluver. You've logged into the forum since April 23, 2013, you've never seen someone ask about using Paypal?. Anyway there are several websites where to buy them, but not with Paypal. You can use localbitcoins, or any user with reputation using escrow. Depending on the country in which you live you can also buy them at ATMs.

What about if you use expendable paypal and withdraw money right away? Also you see I've been here for a long time. I wouldn't destroy my account for $100-$200
How about this solution. Create a new paypal account, hook it up to your bank or atm or something, have the btc escrowed UNTIL its in your bank or in cash, then remove the bank account/card from the paypal account and the btc is released. Therefore if the money is chargebacked there is no money to take it from and you can't lose money in paypal.

The only problem with that is the buyer is still able to reverse the transaction. Once the buyer reverses the transaction, PayPal charges you a negative balance. If you don't pay it, it goes into collections which unfortunately messes up your identity.

It doesn't have to be paypal. I need something I can spend quickly and probably sell again. Anything. Gold?

I know what it sounds like. The paypal account is expendable though verified. Yea it shall go to reliable escrow first. I don't mind.

Price fluctuations could be an issue. So basically we agree to buy say 1 btc. Then we use the price at 24:00 on some website?

Can that be accomplished?

Basically I know people with so much paypal balance and I know people that have so many bitcoins.

If I want to accomplish that, what would be the escrow?

How much I should buy first without escrow?

You can buy bitcoin by Paypal at alfacahsier, com .

not true, I can only sell BTC for paypal. You said it backwards

Thanks to all for your comments. I can see buying using paypal balance is kinda complicated...
I am not a US citizen so I cant upload the money to my US bank account and buy form Coinbase or Circle.. I guess my hands are tied.

Virwox has very high fees..

I looked into it. Even if sent as a gift it can be charged back. Someone can say their account or credit card was stolen. That being said, you don't need to worry about that if your the buyer. Just make sure you use escrow to insure you get your coins.

What about if they sent as a gift. I have never really bought bitcoin with paypal so I don't know what different ways you can send it. I have heard of gift sending, if you force them to send as a gift, is all chargeback possibility removed? Couldn't they still say it was unauthorized transation because even if they used gift it could still be someone unauthorized logging onto their account.

I would second that.

If there is a way to send money in paypal in ways that is not returnable then its' great.

Or, instead of buying bitcoin, I am thinking of buying bitcoin mining shares? Hmmmm... From butterfly labs?

Or anything I can buy with paypal that will become bitcoins eventually? I just need to move paypal balance quickly

since chargebacks can be requested through paypal AND your bank card....i would say its still risky.
You could donate through paypal, to increase chance paypal wont chargeback - but that dont stop the user from calling say, wells fargo, and saying "i accidently donated through paypal, and this is the debit card tied to it - i need to cancel that transaction i made a mistake" usually bank will side with cardholder.

just a heads up it could be possible to do that. if ppl are using paypal, only do it with people you have rapports with and know well.

I'm pretty sure if you buy bitcoin direct through Paypal using friend / family / gift option it can't be reversed.

Exactly. The risk is all on the buyer however. If the other party doesn't send the coins then your out of luck.

This actually isn't as problematic as some are making it out to be. I'd be way more worried if you were selling your coins for paypal and suffering the chargeback risk. Though now with Neteller accepting coin, it would be odd if paypal wasn't kicking things up to high gear to beat their competitors.

its not safe using paypal to buy bitcoins. It will be very hard to find someone accepting paypal. But goodluck finding some1.

Its not too hard actually. Its already been said in this thread. People will accept it with a mark up, and also, the buyer is required to send payment as a gift so there cannot be a charge back. Look on localbitcoins and refine by paypal as payment method. You will see a ton of people willing to do this.

paypal is the worst way to buy bitcoin.

I think you can use it as a method of payment in some circumstances with LocalBitcoins (if I'm not mistaken).

Yes, a lot of people accept it there. They mark it up quite a bit though.
