if the paypal account is legit there is no reason to not withdraw to bank account and buy at an exchange
In canada we have something called interac e-transfer (I don't know if you have the same thing in the US) but there are many exchanges allowing instant purchases (btc sent to your wallet within 10 minutes) with this e-transfer and its pretty great. I never buy btc tho, only sell it

Absolutely no one will do paypal to btc, so easy to scam ( I have been scammed myself.). Try some people you actually know in real life, or personally
I know what it sounds like. The paypal account is expendable though verified. Yea it shall go to reliable escrow first. I don't mind.
Price fluctuations could be an issue. So basically we agree to buy say 1 btc. Then we use the price at 24:00 on some website?

I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum is aware of paypal chargeback scams and won't deal with you except if you're extremely trusted.
But, you could try virwox.com or bitcoininsanity.com(both overcharges), if you're real urgent.
Buying BTC through PayPal would be mighty convenient...but they don't offer any currency conversion services yet, do they?
Well couple days ago Paypal allowed to reverse transaction up to 180 days.
