Nope! I will disagree with you. Prices will drastically increase after August 1st and that would be a good to time to get profit in bitcoins while the price will go higher. When the prices will be higher in the end of August, it would be not easy to buy bitcoins. Right now, it’s the good time for investment.

If you think now is the lowest bitcoin price before 1 August you can buy it you have to sharpen your instincts, I think there will be another drop maybe 29 or 30 july is the right time to buy bitcoin.

Of course current situation and dumping of exchange rate is not the time when we all need to invest in BTC so of course we have to wait for next stage of market growth before investing.

So its better to wait for it as its not that far now.

Well by this time the prices of btc has gone down quite considerably, and i wouldn't wait if i were you. Possible that after aug1 the prices may plunge again but what if it doesn't? What if the corrections made actually pumped btc up once again and you may very well have lost the opportunity to profit more? Waiting is for selling btcs not for buying. You already have the opportunity now so don't waste it.

Just wait after August 1, as as pointed out by a few of the other users, many people will panic and the price of bitcoin will drop. This will enable you to buy at a much cheaper price and then wait until it rises back again. The good thing about this is that this is more likely going to be a temporary event that shouldnt really effect bitcoin in the long run. Maybe try to invest in ethereum in the time being. Maybe have 5k go towards ethereum and have the rest invested in Bitcoin after the August 1 'crisis'. It will surely help you to spread your funds available and minimise the risk of loosing your money,

There would be lot chaos after implementation of UASF if it gets implemented without SegWit2x and there would be a price dip (could be slightly long term) which can even go to 30-40%. If Segwit2x gets implemented before the implementation of UASF. Dip would still be there but would be for short term. In both the cases you will have a good opportunity to buy bitcoin.

To be safe, I would suggest to have parts of your money. You'll use one part to buy bitcoin right now and the other part after August 1. That way, you are sure that you have secured a bitcoin. Then another part to buy after August one when most people are in panic about the outcome of the event. I am predicting that most people will sell there bitcoin out of fear so the price will go down and another best time to buy.

I think that the bitcoin price is now obviously overestimated and there will be a correction to the level of 1300 (if not lower). It is better to wait with investments.
But if you look at a global scale, then bitcoins expect growth, you can buy now, put in a hard wallet and wait for a couple of years, then you will get a good profit.

After August the price of bitcoin will increase faster because hen people will start to use it so it is better that you invest in bitcoin now as now the price of bitcoin is not much higher and after 1st august I know that the price of bitcoin will double up from which it is now.

I see that the opinions are quite divided on one side are those who think that after that day the price will go up and on the other side others think that the price will go down,but almost no one mentions that the price could remain the same,there is also that possibility,if so, he should not rush too much,rather I think that the decision depends entirely on him since he is the one who will assume the risk after all.

So if you have funds buy Bitcoins, if you need funds sell the coins and don't bother what will happen on August 1.

The latest prediction i found said "bitcoin goes to 5000 USD a piece within this year." Take that with a grain of salt!

And for heavens sake. Don't spend it all on altcoins. Same goes for ethereum etc. unless you want to waste a lot of money and time on a basicly worthless token.

PS: I see if if can get some Honda shares or whatever. Their cars can be driven. And their robot walks. That should bring some value to that asset.

I think you should wait after August 1st. I think that investing in at this moment is really too dangerous. Maybe btc price will decline then and of course you will lose money. But, if the btc price increase? I am guessing that anytime is still good now.
Red bloody days are not predictable but the trend is like slightly downward,
If you compare this week end to last year then you may think current trend is still better.

But to me I think if you buy bitcoin don't wait to its price will drop more and then you buy it. So if you invest money in bitcoin don't wait to low price, buy it soon now because the price of bitcoin is now stable and I can't believe it that the bitcoin price will goes to high drop after the segwit, so believe its price and buy now because its price will be goes to increase in coming future.

I eould have to agree with both of you there dude. If you wait longer, there's a chance you're going to miss out on the opportunity of earning in the near future. Btc's price has been quite stable at it's current rate for more than a month or two and would've given people opportunity to buy at that rate. There are a lot of speculations about btc price skyrocketing in a month so why wait?

Basically, the thing is whether the worth of bitcoin will increase in the future or not. Somehow its worth is almost stable during the recent months, but no one knows when it will start increasing. It will increase, for sure because of the growing users of Bitcoin around the globe.

So, wait for august does make no sense I think. I believe on immediate investment, as it will yield quite rapidly, in future.
