Indeed, the stock market is dumping now but people are not buying it instead, they keep selling their shares at low. Maybe you are right that a blood bath will come sooner in crypto as per you see, then let it happens because investors will take that shares.

It is to understand the hard situation causes for the stock market to dump but not in crypto. And I don't see that COVID-19 will have a huge declining impact on the market price instead of seeing it having an uptrend motion which we never think at first ( that is what we have now). The crisis will over soon and the economic growth will recover then, if we are impatient enough to wait for it, that is a big regret on our ends.

Since the beginning of this decade, the economy from every point to look at it has always been on a thin thread and every year after that, it has been surviving because it cannot afford to collapse as so many lives depend on it. 1929 cannot repeat itself for one reason that if there is anything the world learns, is that we are always evolving.

With the advent of COVID seems everything will come crashing but it won't because we will always find a way to survive.

Absolutely right! We, people are always looking for some alternative ways to survive in this crisis. And I strongly believe that we are more wiser now than the past decades. We have more knowledge about the internet and smart gadgets, that is why we can still continue our studies, work, businesses and other transactions online. So, maybe because of this things, I believe as well that the world's economy will never totally collapse. It may shaken I guess, but never collapse.
The world's economy will never totally collapse, even we face a lot of problems besides the pandemic of COVID-19,  that is why everyone is working together to stop and prevent the virus from spreading. Humanity have face a lot of problems in the past decades, so this pandemic can still be resolved by us and will not take long for sure. As long we follow every rules that are being told by the government and medical experts that we should always wear are face mask, social distancing, wash our hands, etc.
Since the world keeps on evolving and create changes all the time, people also keeps on learning from all the challenges that the world has given. And with this current economic crisis we are experiencing due to corona virus, we will face this as one and together we will stop this pandemic. Our country's economy is really as its worst today but i believe it will not reach to the point that it will collapse because everybody is working hard for it for the country's survival.

Okay the last sentence the OP made was very funny, to be sincere I was laughing really hard Grin. I am not really sure about people dumping cryptocurrency, unless you were referring to altcoins, because a lot of people right now will start to dump altcoins to buy Bitcoin as the price keeps on increasing

This has never been the case

Moreover, as past Bitcoin rallies indisputably prove, when Bitcoin becomes too expensive, people start to fix profits and sell it in order to invest in altcoins instead. This is what many experienced traders have noticed, For example, Michael van de Poppe, who is a full-time daytrader at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, says that people should look into altcoins as Bitcoin moves to sideways action:

Quote
The most likely case is that we’ll have volatility on $BTC & $ETH as they determine their range. But over time (one week-two weeks) this will start to drop. What do you have to do? Yes, buy dips on altcoins. While everyone is focused on $BTC, your focus should be on alts

If you were following the markets for at least a couple of years, you would know that even without de Poppe telling you so. People start to dump altcoins when Bitcoin plummets, to buy it cheap while they can. And it plays out in reverse as well

Altcoins are the ones that are going to suffer it now as their price will start to depreciate. Then as for stocks, some of them are starting to recover. The reason some of them are still down is because some sectors of the economy has not yet resumed, and people are still scared of the coronavirus and its impacts on day to day life. But, we can’t continue this way. Everything will get restored once vaccine will be available for public use. Hopefully the September month will be complete different from what we had seen since March month of this year.

If you are into crypto, it would be okay to take some profits if you hit a personal target price. Risk vs Reward still remains true. Yet, even after an economic disaster, the better companies, better stocks and bitcoin WILL rebound.

We just need to keep that positive point of views towards our economy, we should not only think of those possibilities, economic crisis will soon end.

As an investor, I only keep my eye on the goal as I don't want those downfall in the economy to affect my crypto assets. Although I'm not sure about the fate of my investments, I still took the risk and wait for a good thing to happen. It really takes a lot of courage for us to grow our assets or money.

Just look for many opportunities to invest just to secure your future, even those lot, house for rent, gold, and etc. will help you as time passes by.

I think i am going to start a cheap booze/liquor biz   as 1929 is back

Today's situation has nothing in common with 1929

If we were back in 1929 but with a current financial system based on fiat money, the Great Depression wouldn't even start. The government would simply pour as much money as needed into the economy as it did in 2008 and is doing right now. Understandably, you don't like it (rather, you don't like the situation that is being resolved in this way). However, you don't know how bad things might be if the events of 1929 and later were really back for real

That’s good for you and with the situation we are in right now, its better to hold cash for now. The stocks are fallen but I think cryptocurrency will go on a different situation since the up trend begin and we are able to reach new highs after a year of dump. It doesn’t matter if you’re right or wrong, what matter here is that we should keep on making strategies.
Hold cash is not good because have inflation value at the future and better holding in cryptocurrency, gold or invest on property. Many people lost their money value after holding with cash money and every year increase little and looks down value.

Certainly the economic effects are only just starting to be felt. A lot of the public seem to think that the economic impact comes at the same time as the CV19 lockdowns... and that once the economy is back running at 1005, then everything is fine again. Clearly this will not be the case; the economic effects are felt further down the line. Unfortunately, a lot of countries have hard times ahead.

I would say economy could get lower as much as it wants and the numbers could be as low as it gets but the humanity has improved a century and that is why I think we could never go back to 1920 type of crisis ever again.

Agriculture is better, technology is better, communication is better, even business are better because you can talk with other nations and get a deal done very easily. Hence, I feel like the worst thing that could happen would be poverty in an improved world, sure it is still poverty, but we are talking about bad cheap burgers in unhealthy places and not boiling potatoes for a month straight, they are very different stuff.

Finally that is what we can do to make it work, just try to minimize your life as much as you can for a while and hope for the future to be better.

All i want to say is this to people that lost their job or have financial problems now :

DO NOT ! I REPEAT DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THE STOCK MARKET OR CRYPTO CURRENCIES ....

Buy land or start a small business or do something else with your money ,invest in your education, kids etc ... stay away from stock market and crypto currencies ... the rich f...kers and govs are playing a game called "Pump and Dump"

the way you have been painting your imaginary doomsday scenario you are also unknowingly contradicting yourself here because if such scenarios took place then everything is going to turn into shit. your "business" will also go under, specially when it is new and small. and your "land" is also useless unless it is huge  you plan on planting potatoes in it and take the food market with it during the "doomsday" Cheesy

If doomsday comes who the f....k gives a shi..t about business, economy and land ...  Grin

Here is new news : https://www.cbsnews.com/news/warmest-year-on-record-2020-likely/

Scientists warned everybody this shi..t will happened ... even Bill Gates tried ..

Mother Nature is trying to save Earth by eliminating the problem ... guess who is the problem and tried to play God ?

Yes, you are right!   I believe you are expecting someone who will actually say you are right and we are not right.

Sadly all businesses will drop including your web development business and the Chinese and Indians will accept a $300 job that will take 3 months for you. Wherever we are in the world we are going to be affected when the world war 3 comes.

I agree I think shit is going to hit the fan here in the next few months but I am surprised so far by the Q2 earnings that we've seen so far from big business.  Seemingly doing much better than most thought.  However unemployment continues to rise and I know myself I'm very worried about my job and I work for a Fortune 100 company.

All i want to say is this to people that lost their job or have financial problems now :

In the crypto currencies market they are using trading bots to manipulate the markets to make it look like the markets are healthy ... when the price of a crypto reaches a point were they can make profit they start dumping and after they buy back again cheap ... and they repeat the same thing over and over ...same thing kind happens on the stock market.

So be careful ...
Maybe you are right for what you have said, so I think it much better to start your own small business while investing in crypto. We can see that cryptocurrency market is still healthy but of course always need to be careful, anytime it will dump.

Maybe you are right about the economy, right now it is risky to invest in stocks and cryptocurrency. For the stock market it
really is destroyed, but cryptocurrency still shows a healthy market. But I agree with you, soon crypto is likely to follow
stock market. The cryptocurrency price has now gone too high, so it is likely to go down for correction. So be careful,
if it's already a profit, it's better to sell the cryptocurrency we have.

Now wait till people start dumping cryptos and stocks ...then the blood bath starts ...

I think i am going to start a cheap booze/liquor biz   as 1929 is back ...

To be honest I am more interested in blokchain technology, its application (product) is cryptocurrency. so if cryptocurrency like BTC, Eth, BCH or something else is gone, then I'm sure Blokchain technology can still be used, with different products

Beside fintech and cryptocurrency i can't find uses for blockchains ... it's to specialized ... it's a database / list of records that users are not allowed to modify to put it simple

What I have heard is that the economy in China is the country that will be better off after Covid19. We should not be alarmed by this uncertain future, what we should do is take advantage of all the resources we have and with hard work we can all get ahead.
You can still be happy with your profession. Try Upwork.
https://www.upwork.com/hire/web-developers/

Are you kidding with freelancing websites like upwork, toptal etc ?

Had account on upwork  ...high fees + people on freelancing sites think we are all indians and that we accept to work cheap and we  do bad quality

For example: if you want a logo design and contact me direct via telegram i will ask 5 usd per sample ,minimum you should order is 3 samples so you can choose and get quality ,total around 15 usd

Now if i use upwork or freelancer.com , or toptal i have to charge you 15 usd per sample that would be 45 usd ... and indians charge like 2 usd per logo on freelancing websites ...logical client will go to indian ... but he will get bad quality... not my problem

The only freelancing website that i accept to work on is fiverr you can find me here https://www.fiverr.com/webdesigner2010 ,reopened account a few weeks ago ,same prices like i got on bitcointalk if you want to use fiverr ... fiverr i will use for simple projects

From freelancing you don't make money ...as people can't afford big projects they don't have the capital ...from freelancing you make a extra buck for survival ...
