I feel regret and hurt because I was still holding my BTC at $15k, and later on decided to sell it at $13k. Congrats to your 900% profit dude. Only real traders with amazing Technical analysis can identify this crash. I am expecting Bitcoin to touch $2k or $3k.

what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..

Say you really only make us regret. I used to have the opportunity to buy bitcoin for a few tens of $ in 2012. If I knew then I used all my assets at that time to buy the bitcoin then hoard and wait until December 2017 I sell $ 20k then. But that's just our wish

My point is there is no need regretting a moment you obviously cannot change but rather find ways to make amendments; which to me, would make sense buying at the dip when you feel there is enough room for the market to move upward later on, so you do not end up regretting not buying the dips later on.

Not everyone can be a trader, you could have sold, and the market kept moving up. This is real market and not knowing how to trade makes you a gambler if you make attempts on the market, so for me, it is either you learn how to do well as an investor or you learn how to do well as a trader than regretting moments you cannot change.
Well thought indeed. The thing is that we cannot know how things would happen how events will unfold and even as traders, we try to find possibilities and probabilities based on what we see and then trade it while taking huge risks.

This is a market, nothing is certain but there is so much goodies that awaits with future development and rather than focusing so much on what one did not do in the past, we should be focusing on what we should do now to enjoy the future benefits which I hope most people should have learned now and which you also have pointed out.

Thinking back when I saw the market collapse again I wished I'd cashed out back in late 2017 but one thing I tell myself is that with time BTC has the potential to become even bigger. So this is only a small sacrifice

Really a good decision when you dumped your crypto back in December 2017. Many in crypto community regret not to sell bitcoin back then. And now bitcoin is barely pumping. Hope it will go like it was again this end of the year.

I know some good traders that did that and cashed out in Dec last year. Since then I've been learning how to trade, TA is the real stuff.

It's alright you can buy it again you know that that we can't predict what will happen to the price of bitcoin even your regretting now I know that you earn a good profit before the price go down.

Yeah it could've gone either way and went on a rampage until january. The thing is we wouldn't know whwt would happen but we have to stand by our decision. I believe we can still get back to that point but you have to wait for a longer time.

Many people also think that today because you do not expect that the price of bitcoin will increase in the past year.If it's so big and it's bigger and bigger it's bigger than I think so many people will regret it because of it's sudden crash.

I guess December’s price was in a bubble! It was really too high and not correct. Right now, I think the price is real value of Bitcoin. Though, nobody could have predicted the price dropped so much in January so it’s useless male this kind of thoughts! Let’s hope for a more capitalization.

It's a cool idea to do that, you can trash a piece in a short time and not sit waiting while it grows 2 times again. But here we have to be careful not to be discouraged by the choice of time and price tomorrow.
There will be no dump in the price anymore. I think today’s price is normal and little bit correction is good for bitcoin. In the previous year the price grew against the market cap and that is the reason that just a few months the price fell down again and most people lost their money. Now the situation is normal and the steady growth is according to market capital.

Oh come on.
What if I bought BTC when it was under 10$ and sold it when it reached $20k?
You didn't know what will happen, made the wrong decision and that's that.

Exactly, no one knows when we were going to see a reversal in the price of bitcoin, we knew it was close but that was it, besides as long as you bought your bitcoin before October of that year you made good profits, I have been holding for longer than that and even with the crash I am sitting in some good profits but with the price this low it is obvious I'm not going to sell now.

Yeah don't sell your bitcoin now because it's obviously that you will lose your money, for me I will hold my bitcoin for five months or 6 months because I will wait for the recover of bitcoin .

Funny thoughts from you guys. I'm quite sure not even one here would have hold through the up and downs. If you would have bought Bitcoin @1$ and it came to $100 then drop to $20 again and then suddenly reaches 100$ again you would have sold everything out  Grin

Maybe in a few years you will write "Shit i should have hold my Bitcoins @~$15k and sold it now for (~2020) for 200k."

It`s easy to be wise after the event, but only mediums can predict the future.
We cannot control and predict the market all the time. We can only control our emotions, entries , trading size and exits. No sense to regret what could we do in the past as it will hurt us. Better to focus towards future investments and trades.

You are still on good shape yet you have able to sell into those times might not be on overall but somehow you are on profits and not only you is hoping to dump into those times.Even me neither to really regret to miss out that opportunity to sell. The important thing is that you do able to purchase or buyback once again with 100% of the capital and start all over again. Hoping for price increase once again.

Most of the times being or getting greedy wont really give any positive effects into a certain investor but sometimes these things cant really be avoided.

By the end of 2017, marking the price hike of the anonymous bitcoin was extremely cheap, but nobody wanted to buy it, but by the time it peaked at $ 20,000 in December of 1977, more sensitive to this currency,

Sorry mate. That is life! Most times, we all wish we had made certain decisions in our life and be thankful for making such decisions now. You could have dumped and the market could have moved further, (not like it was not guaranteed to pop anyway since nothing was moving it), but the point I want to make here is that we learn from our mistakes and dumping would have done you no good, if you actually ended up gambling it.

Best it to get yourself vast in trading knowledge and since stuffs like this always repeat themselves most times, try to learn how you can utilize that knowledge later on in the future.
