the problem is that no one can predict bitcoin in the future, so we also don't blame ourselves because our crypto currency won't know that going forward will go up or down

I already feel bad about taking that profit.
 
To OP: To be honest nobody could have known when to dump because it looked like it could easily go to several hundred thousand. And psychology had us all with everyone saying "To the moon!" when we already reached the top, so we all waited for more. Except for some lucky people who got out at that point.
 
To make you feel better: I dumped my major holdings (not disclosing how much) already at around $2-3k just because one person wrote something.. Could have easily made a really stupid amount of money with those BTC I held for so long. But I didn't, only made some "small stupid amount of money" lol. That was stupid. Bought them way below $1000 But I still had X BTC left which I held because I did not care anymore until I was recommended to sell by a close person. After a long discussion I then sold.
 
Yes I am not a smart person but who cares. Took profit for Bitcoins which I bought way below for what I sold so I still made some money. Not the smart way to make money (relying on other people lol) but it somehow got the job done.
 
Just take care for your next investment. Maybe only invest what you can afford to risk. Because investing is risky as hell, it can turn out nice or you can lose a huge percentage of the original investment amount you put in, especially with these markets. Stressy as fuck, always making people sell bottoms.

I agree with what you said because the best thing to do is learning from ones mistake and never regret making one cause regretting usually lead to depression. With that been said, in crypto market you should always expect bottom price of the market once the market clinch a new ATH and the right thing to do during the ATH season is selling some part of your holding which you can use to buy at the bottom price which we're currently in.

Almost all of us suffered from big losses I should have started a new business last year If I sold all my coins and tokens last 2017 or early in 2018 a very big mistake in my whole life I will not forget the thousands of dollars that I have earned just vanished in some months and left me a very few bucks cant even a buy a piece of cake!

We cant go back in time and whats done is done already, forget the past and move on and even myself do still have the regrets with those times on where BTC is bull running and almost alts in the market.
If i did able to sell out those times then im not the same person as of now when it comes to financial status which maybe ive been living with my mansion with beautiful sports car on my garage but those dreams
are gone because i do decide to hold up a little further which in results those dreams is gradually vanishing but still im holding as of this moment.

You are right but my thinking is if things has passed us should not be regretted as they will not bring us back to the past if we will keep on regretting it will only increase our depression and will make us disappointed which leads to lose, just be brave accept your mistake and get new opportunities to use and to invest for long term so your life will be happy being an investor.

I 'm so sorry for your lost but there's is no need over flogging yourself for that.
Many of us made that same mistake .
You can still recover your loss by doing swing trading with the bitcoin you are holding.

They actually don't regret on what happen to the market since it's out of their control, what they regretted is their lack
of will to sell during the bull run, and now their suppose to be precious coins are now looking like shit coins.

Failing to initiate a sell shows greediness and they are learning the hard way now.



Well, you can make it a positive thing if you can wait until the time the bullish will start, if not, then it showed you haven't learned anything.
No one know when it will rise again, even satoshi, so being patient is a necessary action to do.

Next time you must aware by putting your money in different ways of earning because trading is so risky too. Day by day it will dumped that you don't expect and will loss for your money.

not many investors can benefit from the fall in the price of bitcoin should you be able to find out who is the buyer of bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is at $ 19k and what gets when prices fall like this? it's the same as you get, only a loss.

There are many traders who regretted what happen to the market. I think it serves as a lesson that not all times the market is good. I have now many lessons that I learned from my experiences and I will use it to regain my losses.

The use of bitcoin is just beginning to gain momentum and will show more value, it's a matter of time, it's a great payment system and exchange of values on the Internet!

maybe at that moment investors feels greedy looking bitcoin price rise sharply only in few months.they did not sell their bitcoin or altcoin stock in hope its price will make new high.but unfortunately its price down and trend chages to bearish for long time , more than one year.and now most of them maybe sell their bitcoin in low price.

Only investor or trader who can handle their emotional been sell all their crypto in late december  2017. They know the price overbought and the trend will changed to bearish.  We have to learn more about the Price action and the trend of crypto market so we can make alot profit with less risk, and avoid greedy, FOMO  and not patient because all that natural emotional  will bring you loss alot of money.

People kept on holding bitcoin because at that time price was moving so fast that people were thinking it will reach 50K or more and this greed stop them from selling at 20K.



Many people wished they could have dumped at that time but not everyone was wise enough to do it. Only the whales knew which is the peak point to sell and many few people sell at the right time.

Good strategy to dumo all your bitcoin in last 2017 but we can't back to the past and to do it. In this days many people complaining that bitcoin almost dropping it's price right now.

i think this year Bitcoin can drop to 1900-2200 $ and Eth to 40-60 $

In January 2017 many of us that has been investing wish that bitcoin should goes as high as $3000 but it went to $20,000 and now many think that bitcoin is death.  Every body wish that they could have sold their bitcoin in 2017  December but the market has it own mind.  If you want to invest and make profits you must buy at the right time and sell at the right time.
