This is the biggest problem of the whole industry and community has been divided into several parts. Some participants do not care about their privacy and want to reduce the number of scams by integrating regulations of any type. But others would likely stay anonymous rather than have any regulations going on.
So, what will you do personally? If all people are afraid of losing, the volatility or crypto, and scam, they will be better not to enter the crypto world. We are aware that the crypto world is full of risks. But, we can also find the gold chance in this cryto world. That is why it will depend on how we analyze, take the decision, and make a strategy.

What security are you referring to? Keeping your investment on centralized exchanges? Well if that's what suits you then go ahead. Majority of people aren't going to use blockchains as they are meant to be used anyway

We need a real decentralized solutions. IDEX has not been hacked yet! Bitcoin, Etheruem private keys never been hacked (I am not talking about stolen private keys).The problem is always with the intermediary! Such as hacked browser, computer, CEX and so on.

There are more robust and secured option such as decentralized exchange and hardware wallet and people still didn't want to use them anyway. Wonder why? people want a more convenient way of dealing with their problem instead of finding the mroe secured although harder way. People just don't feel like trading on decentralized platform and because of that the liquidity is low then many people will become less interested because of that reason aswell.

Nothing on this world is unhackable which anything can be possibly exploited yet any platforms being coded by programmers itself so there would always be a way on punching a hole with it.It depends on a certain skill of such hacker where security can be possibly bypassed if they wanted to.

There is no proof that if you choose centralized exchanges rather than decentralized one, you are not prone to any of the hacks. Those exchanges that has been hacked is coincidentally with a centralized system.
There are two types or risks in crypto investment thatbyou should handle.
1. Internal risks where your investment may go higher or lower depending on the market and
2. External risks which all the hacks and frauds is.
You are already prone to these two and even you go from one exchange to another, its always there. The best thing to do is to get cautious at all times.

No industry is really safe even the banking sectors suffer from hacks and robbery, Binance have insured people's coins in their platform, so it's better to transact your coins to a more secure and those that will guaranty your coins, in case there is a hack, Cryptocurrency is here to stay and the industry is doing everything to make things safe and easier.

Hackers will act on weak security or have gaps, to guarantee investors, a good quality of security is needed by continually updating the security level of a system and managing valid data so that investors trust a project.
Hackers will always be hackers, they will find a way to steal money whether it is from the banks or innocent crypto users.How to update security level system? this is more of technical terms you are using and normal investors doesn't really care about this.

it all depends on how we can secure our assets or choose a trusted investment platform. Hackers will choose targets that have low security. Investment will remain safe from hacker attacks if we remain vigilant on the investment platform we will use.
