At least those few years when it emerged seems to be perfect and good timing for those people who invested.

I don't regret that I never came to it but I'm good as always and just watching this drama for ICOs. The downturn would likely because of the number of scams doesn't really intended to pursue what they are offering to their investors. And its easy to create their tokens and just run an ICO and collect millions of $$ after that, rinse and repeat.

Its all because of the current market conditions. But even in bear market so many ICOs had success in collecting enough to continue with project. It all depends from idea, mpv, team, future usecase and backings. I believe market will recover and more and more ICOs will come back again

We can look at this ICO downturn as a postive way. But we have to keep in mind that everything has both merits and demerits. It will be a good thing to see loss of funds due to lack og proper business structure.

It is only natural that there is a decline because many projects fail and are also based on investors who are less serious in participating so the project stops. we must believe everything will be okay to think positively because many new ICO projects are convincing so that the ICO returns to normal. as you say the lack of a good business structure so that the project becomes meaningless.
today, the investment attractiveness of the ico market of companies has declined significantly, and this is not only due to the large number of scammers, but also to the poor state of the market. Investor profitable to buy coins on the stock exchange.
They are thinking the market trend was giving a lot of impact to the price of token after it has already listed on the exchange site. They are thiking doin' a trade it's much better compared to the ico, but remember hyped ico can give a huge profit instantly dude.

The main reason for this, may be due to the lack of trust that exists in investors, which makes them lazy to invest and often does not succeed in making a profit. Then they move to another place or another way. ICO  Cry

The amount of money being raised by ICOs is still roughly the same as it was a few months ago, it's just that there are massively more ICOs now as everybody seems to think it's a quick get rich quick system, boy are they wrong.

Every man and his wife has an ICO now, almost all of them are going to completely fail miserably as they don't understand what it takes to be successful in a bear market.

no, I'm sure that cryptocurrency startups will still catch a wave of growth and when the bulls return to the market on new projects it will be possible to make good money again

I'm sorry to say that the golden age for ordinary people entering the ICO is over. This value will shift more to venture capital funds for the simple reason that many large vc funds offer significant upside. Neither propaganda nor their support networks, and most of the projects are mindless. Most vc funds are usually 100 percent.
No, of course, after the recovery of the cryptocurrency market, the ICO projects will again find their second life. Many ICO projects are not starting up right now and are waiting for the market to rise, current ICO projects are extending the deadline for ICO since they really have difficulty raising funds. It is very difficult now for the bounty hunters, since the ICO generosity campaigns now last for half a year or more. Nothing can be done, this is a difficult time to wait and endure.

The downturn is so common, because we now have so many amateurish ICOs with nothing to offer. A project with something worthwhile to offer, will easily gasin wide adoption.

ICOs can still be profitable once people realize hard caps must be much lower than dozens of millions of dollars!

Better buy ICO coins after they listed on exchange cause the price dropping from exchange -80%. But it won't help the project much since you didn't buy it at ICO whitelist but to those Airdrop or Bounty dumpers. Still you can give the coins a volume.

ICO has grown to a very dangerous level. If the ICO rules are not standardized and effectively changed, the development of ICO will become very difficult and will even be replaced by a new model.

I think that you are right. Today, the majority of projects collect soft caps from various financial funds, who are offered to invest with special more favorable conditions.

Generally, investors don't get equity shares, but rather betting that tokens, which often open services on the product to be launched, will increase in value if the startup succeeds. And their surge this year comes despite strict supervision from regulators, fraud and a well-publicized scam and broad selling on the cryptocurrency market.

Yes, this is a very sad truth. Hopefully, bear market will be over soon and the ICO goes back to it's normal state. Also, should ICOs be regulated, to remove 95% of the ICOs that were actually scam goes goner then maybe then investors would come back.

for this year is indeed becoming less exhilarating time for the ICO. the decline in abundance of crypto and maybe a scam there is enough existing ICO influence be seen getting down compared to the previous year. some ICO may still be promising but found it of course also quite difficult because there is not the least of the ICO.

Yes. Many ICO can't raise funds now. Because once their coins is on the exchange. It will be dumped immediately. So many ICO projects fall below the issue price. For the latest STO. I also think ordinary people can't participate in it.

The fund raising landscape is starting to change but there will always be opportunities for retail investors as this increases the chances of adoption and real world use

VC funding will contribute to more legitimate projects which is good for the industry
