there are many scam ICO at the moment that make investors unwilling to invest, that's is which makes the ICO decrease this year. this seems to be influenced by market prices, if market price movements increase later this year, then there will be many large projects in the coming year.
The current market is not just many fraudulent ICOs, but poor ICO projects, inexperienced ICO projects are still taking place in the market, capital mobilization for the purpose of appropriating assets of investors, Ending the value of the tokens is always much lower than the sale price during the ICO period, thus making investors fear and they are abandoning the ICO.

I do not think that there is a decline in ICO now. Yes, many projects are increasingly supported by venture investors, but public ICO is still very much and we have the opportunity to invest.

Unfortunately, you're right.I also note the emergence of this trend and it is bad for us as investors. Now we have to buy coins from the market if we want to invest.

I'm sorry to say that the golden age for ordinary people entering the ICO is over. This value will shift more to venture capital funds for the simple reason that many large vc funds offer significant upside. Neither propaganda nor their support networks, and most of the projects are mindless. Most vc funds are usually 100 percent.

We are seeing this now, because if you look at most big ICOs that apply the SAFT then you see this is a way most developers would even preffered, reason being that most of them don't look for quick flip like most retail investors and also it take time before the tokens get listed on exchange so there is no pressure on them to get listed on exchanges also and if they do mostly go for the top exchanges which do help the price alot and generate interest
The main problem is the ico traders. They don't care about the price of token after it being listed on the exchange site. They are accumulating their profit from the pre-sale price. Some developers offer non sense interest to buy their tokens. that made the situation even worst. They must prove their identity and in other reason KYC is a mandatory for the team.

It is now time for the ICO to shift its focus to capital from large investment funds and institutions. So the ICO must be really strong and clear to attract capital from these investment institutions.

It is happening, because people are tired of red market. Everyone who invested their money wanted to make profits, but no ICO in August or September, benefited investors. EVERY project has dropped their price, after listing. It is very sad, because with such movement we will lose even more investors.
Well I guess everything is still usual, maybe we just used on having a quick profit that with the current situation can't guarantee.
The percentage of icos that abandoned their projects were increasing and the effect turned out this year which is substantially affect the investor's position. The difficulty isn't the market itself thus the lack of regulation in performing the crowdsale is.

it's time to go down for all the icons, because of the many projects that failed to find investors and the number of bounties that were spam, so many people didn't trust ico.

There had been scams even during 2016 and 2017 but the price were just staggering, one reason why people are not investing today is because price isn't going nowhere but down. And we know this isn't just because there are scam ICO that investors don't invest. Its because we are waiting for the price to go up and unfortunately its not happening til regulations are finalized in each country. Governments are messing us all again.

Almost all of the newly emerging ICOs are making a great loss to their investors. But this is will not continue in the future. First, projects that have a really good project will rise. Then FOMO will come. And about 90% of the projects in the market will begin to be valued. This will attract investors again.

I don't agree with that at all there are virtually no scam ICO around now as regulations and awareness have made it way more difficult for them to try and get a fake project off the ground. What we are seeing is a reaction to the Bear market conditions with investors reluctant to throw money into projects that launch on exchanges cheaper than they were sold.

I think it is too early to call an end to the ICO investment opportunities for regular investors. The Bear market of 2018 has proven to be a poison chalice for those trying to launch projects and I don't think any have approached anywhere close t0 their Hardcap targets. The conditions are not supportive of ICO right now but that could all change in a Heartbeat when the market turns around.

The thing to understand this is a waiting game and you can't expect things to change overnight. If you're serious about investing in the crypto world you'll have to be patient as well as cautious. Good things take time.

I do not think that. There are still some good ICO projects being current and we need to capture it. Because now good ICO projects are very rare. This is a sign of the ICO downturn but I believe that as the market grows, there will be a lot of great projects going on like in 2017.

It is unfortunate to see most of the ICO dropping their price. There are some good projects in the market too. And there are investors who believe in a project and not just looking for a quick profit.

The ICO downturn will deter the quickbuck artists who are only interested in investing in the project until it is listed on an exchange and then taking a quick profit. Fortunately there are also more patient investors who believe the rise of the blockchain is a multi decade story and that you really can't expect an exit when you are investing in start ups for a couple years. I am still investing money in ICO's and also good projects that ICO'ed in the last couple years that are trading at bargain prices.
