As far as I understand you want to create exchange for trading between stock trading and crypto? So users will be able to buy stock for BTC. ETH and other crypto? Or Im wrong?
Hi Magisterr,  Yes, you are correct, Jarvis will help make existing traditional asset classes such as FX, CFD's, equities inter-operable with a wide range of digital currencies and other digital solutions such as tokenized assets.

Which type of shares you want to combine with crypto? And which coin will be trading on your exchange only most popular like BTC, ETH or not so popular as well?

About the shares, we will start with european one; depending on our liquidity providers.

As for crypto, we need to deliver value, so our token can be very attractive as soon as possible. So we will first list popular cryptocurrencies, the one which are liquid, and where there is a demand.

Over the time, we will gradually extend our offering.

Correct! We are digitalalizing real world assets. So what is cool is that they will become blockchain assets, so it becomes as usable as any other blockchain assets; it can then be collateralized, lent, exchanged for any asset, etc.

To be honest we are not the first one : LAToken, Proof, etc.

LAToken is not ready yet for doing this.
For the moment I cant find an exchange who tokenized real asset. More exchanges are trying...

From the perspective of an outsider it seems such an obvious thing: just let users exchange cryptocurrencies for financial products on the stock market, just like purchasing a product.  I can imagine a large exchange like Coinbase has enough money to acquire a professional stock trading license for that purpose.

Why is it so hard to achieve that?

I honestly don't know. But let me tell you something. Our project started with "Jarvis Trader' (you can google it). It is a platform made with the heart! With passion! With features that are really helping traders; and with my partners, we have wondered for years: WHY brokers, or others platforms, didn't think about what we have done? We have just created useful tool (a concept named mouse trading), so with their money, why they didn't do it before? Well, the answer is that: they do not care about it, they are not using their own product!

If the Coinbase founders, or management team, were coming from the trading world, if they would have faced what we are facing, they would have probably set adding stocks as a priority.

But Coinbase is not for that: they aim to be the leading entry point in the crypto space, and to acquire market shares there; this is why they launched Paradax or Toshi wallet. And more recently their own stablecoin.

And I think this is our strengh: we are passionate, and we are the users of our own products. And, I personnaly spent he last 7 years, teaching everyday to thousands of traders; so I do know perfectly what matters for them, what they want, what they need.

And then, to conclude, it is not because it is doable that everybody will do it: you should see that there is market for that; or it has to match your value proposition; the value proposition of Jarvis is to give freedom, by being able to access any resources. To compete siloed centralized ecosystem, with an open world. That is not the value proposition of other exchanges.

Do you guys already got partnerships with stock exchanges or brokers are could you explain how you will make this bridge?
I'm a big supporter so I really hope this will work Smiley

Thanks for your responds.

Here is the thing, as explained in the WP; tokenization is not yet scalable; for tokenizing an asset you need first a third party to hold the real asset, and to create a token on the top of it. Another solution is the mirroring; you are mirroring real position taken on the market; so actually when you buy stocks using Jarvis, you are taking a position on the market, and this position is mirrored in your wallet.

For that, you only need a brokerage license.

And you have access to a larger liquidity since you connect to the market.

As the position is mirrored, it becomes a digital asset (the position, not the stock); but for the end user it is the same: they hold the digital image of the stock, or of the gold, or of any contract.

This is also why we do need the centralized part of the exchange, to access these markets legally.

Fiat pairs are going to be available directly at launch next uear or will be added later on? What will be the benefit of using Jusd if there are already fiat pairs?

Very interesting question but also must be available already or answered FAQ question if you scroll up

I'm wondering this too since they will have 3 fiat pairs. It will be useful only if other exchanges add JUSD but there are many stable coins already. Another utilty would be giving rewards trough JUSD tokens, it makes sense

To be honest, we plan on making our stablecoin for a while; since the summer 2017 when the project really started; by this time there were nothing but USDT and some project backed by baskets of currency. Then, a lot a very interesting stable coin (backed by currency, or by crypto) have appeared and are very awesome! DAI as example; but also the concept of synthetic currency introduced by Abra is fantastic!

So, if we do not find the perfect match with what currently exist, we will need to create our own stablecoin.

Will you register with the SEC to operate in the US?

Hello Token Williams

It is not our short term goal to address to US ; but in the future it will. But in order to that you need quite big capital; we will start focusing to deliver our value proposition in Europe and probably Asia.

If you are not going to focus on registering with the SEC, will users from the US be blocked from using your exchange?

Yes! We will not accept any US citizen until we got fully covered. Our plan is to start with partnership: you can benefit from the regulation of your partner if you meet certain conditions; it is a very good short term strategy, you only focus on acquiring and managing clients, while all the compliance/regulation is taking care of by another entity.

But on the long term, we will do our best to acquire our own license; however, mind that our main target at the moment is the european market.

yeah, do we get early access? some kind of incentive to be beta-testers? Wink

We will think about something for early access; as example only token holders. Or through a bounty program to receive feedbacks as example.

So the FX prototype can be used with the broker FXCM and is already available for Demo account (https://jarvistrader.blob.core.windows.net/builds/official/installers/jarvis-trader-setup-x64-1.0.7.exe), and the crypto prototype with HitBTC; but for crypto it is not available as the prototype is not stable enough.

when you are talking about the "Fiat and payment gateway" Are you guys talking about the FIAT currencies from around the globe or only a handful ones lie USD and EURO?

Hello pynetx ,

Initially it will be USD, EUR and GBP. Over the time we will be adding more currencies to have a multi-currency and multi-asset offering.

To support the FIAT currencies I guess you have to comply with the Regulation of those particular countries. How are you planning to do that?

Hello pynetx,

No, only one regulation is enough to support fiat; so our current one is ok Smiley

Having three big fiat currencies certainly comes with some regulations. I guess it will be the usual AML/KYC process.
