You must be very careful when you plan to invest in ICOs.
As you must have already read from many replies, 90% + ICOs are nothing but SCAM, this is what most of us have learned the hard way, however, real potential ICOs are also the most prominent investment.

You have to research a lot.

look into the team, the white paper and the concept, this forum allows you to ask questions so take advantage of that.

ICO is best project and ICO is best way earn more money. If You should due diligence the team background and the right project when will invest in ICO make sure we have know information and understand about the ICO before making invest in them.

These are quite reasonable comments I think. All new ICO that you meet must be wholly verified. If you choose the right ICO it will bring hundreds percent of profits. You’ll be lucky man, believe me.

If people have a definite answer they do not loose their money.
One decide by himself what points make him sure that this ICO is good.
Working product, team members, White Paper are thing you should pay attention at the very beginning.

ICO is good concept. But not all ICO are good. Study the project and core team before investing your ethereum on that project.

always consider what the coin is for.  If you feel it is useful, then go for it.  never send more than you can afford.  there are get rich quick ICO, but very few/far between.  NEO was one of them though.

You could determine if the ICO is good or bad through gathering information about its application, the team around it, the investors, and how many are willing to pay for their service. Also separafing facts from opinion is also a must because when not, the hype of buying might make you loose profit.

I am new to Crypto market. There are too many ICOs out there. How do one decide if an ICO is good or bad?

it's all based on your opinion. do some research before you invest and you shall be good. only invest in something that you think will be useful

read white paper, decide if it is something YOU would use.  make sure it has a solid dev team who have worked other projects. I've been in on 6 ICO's, only skunked on one (still trying to get my ETH back).  If the coin solves a problem, cool. if it seems useless, move on

I agree to the one who said in participating ICO, like investing but I don't think its the best idea. Some ICOs maybe going to success. Some are not so you should be really careful where you put your money.

ICO it would be good if ICO is successful, because if successful then we will get a lot of profit. but ICO it would be bad if the ICO fails or scammers.

Participating in an ICO is a good move if you conduct an intensive review of the project because surely there are scam. And invest only what you can afford to lose. Good luck!

I recommend you to not investing in an ICO until you feel confident that you understand some of the fundamental aspects of profiting from them.
Many ico project was a scam, and many ico project that really successfull. You should research about the project or find some review about it on the internet first.

To find out a good project I think you should read project whitepaper carefully and check their team to see about the exprience of each member in project develop team. Beside you can see the result of the token pre-sale. If the pre-sale ended in just a day or more, it's a really good project and you should invest in. Beside you can check out a lot of good project on icoscanner

I think ICO is good. This depends entirely on the team of the project and on the technological improvements that the project brings. If the team is bad, projects that originate from a very good idea will soon disappear. I think the formula is a good team+a good idea.

It was said a lot already in this topic, and in others, about the choice of ICO. But really the problem of choosing a worthy project that will honor its promises and follow its plan is still relevant. Therefore, we hope that further measures will be taken in the fight against fraudsters.
