The ICO from Japan that I know is synchrolife (syc), and this is legalized in japan, I want them to maintain the momentum of the effects happening in China, the Japan claim now holds the best volume market but will soon disappear if they can not keep it up with innovation , from 2 ICO that OP mentioned current means i only know about 3 ICO come from japan.

Comsa platform for creating ICOs is coming in October. As we know it is fully developed by Japan Tech Buro. As Neo was developed by China team.

I do not think that Japan could ban ICOs as in China when NEO launched as platform to create new ICOs.

But regulation could come. We will see. I am definetly in.

That's only a month away... but why a platform for creating ICOs? That seems like a terribly bad idea. I mean, there are enough copy and paste ICOs out there. Do we really want to make it even easier for scammers to create ICOs?

Japan will never take such draconian moves. How can they, when their government keeps shifting policy? Regulation, yes. Hopefully, sooner than we think.

although the crypto currency has been legalized in Japan but their citizens know little so will not globally affect the regulation in japan but for ico project made in japan can be as good as their regulations support it.

There are so many ICO's these days, its enough to make your head spin.
LOL make our head spin, correct, CHina ban ICOs but ICos are still growing. Japan Ban ICOs , Korea Ban ICOs and what country want to ban ICOs again, look at the ann page there are more than one ICO announced everyday. Who can ban ICOs. If there is still bitcointalk site ICOs will move on to new way from banning. Sure ICos make my head spin.

I think i'll participate especially in a country that has already accepted and legalized bitcoin im sure if someone there actually starts an ICO the chances of it's success is very high with all the crypto enthusiast there as long as that the devs dont run away with and prove that they are trustworthy that would increase the reputation of ICO's and more investors will start to get attracted by it.

Most likely Japan ICO would be only for Japan. Japanese mindset arent targeting for global scale they tend to seclude it only for their country.

Comsa is related to NEM. If I am right it is a ICO platform created by TechBureau Inc. which also builds the private blockchain tech Catapult based on NEM blockchain. All information I have gathered so far sounds very promising. ICOs will survice and they have a special standing in Asia. Most ICOs have been conducted in Asian region so far. It is a multi billion dollar business and Comsa is a serious project to professionalize ICOs.

I also like Comsa. The only thing I don't like their ICO is that it's uncapped, which means they can technically raised unlimited money and be overvalued. Plus the ICO campaign is over 1 month. I'm not going to rush to buy Comsa. I will wait and see if it's overvalued. Just my 2 cents.

Japan's approach to bitcoin is clearly quite different. They've already almost legalized crypto so they won't just ban ICOs suddenly as what happened in China.

I'm sure they won't let them run openly as they want as well. Since Japanese like to innovate and are always interested in finding the best solutions, I guess they'd apply certain regulations on any ICO that's going to run and if an ICO doesn't follow it'd be shut down.

Yeah of course why not ? Man we've invested in tons of ICOs, this won't be bad at all (considering that it will be under some laws.)

I am sure that in the near future Japan will launch ICO in its country. Given the hard work of the Japanese and their honesty and decency in business, I am also confident that all their coins will be useful to people and successful. Given that now Japan is taking the leading position on the use of crypto currency instead of self-excised China, this will happen quite soon. If I see the Japanese ICO, I will definitely participate in them.

I remember earlier in the year cryptos all got a massive boost on the back of news that Japan was recognising bitcoin as a legal currency, seems like one of the safest bets for investments in the crypto world, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on interesting projects coming out of Japan.

japan are gonna have to do something regulation wise about icos. they've permitted regular cryptos but this is a whole different ball game.

it would be stupid of them to regulate bitcoin and permit icos to run riot.

You are right, Bitcoin in japan has been recognized and legalized. I think it's great to have ICO there. I am equal to you to appreciate and enthusiastic if the Project is held.
Also Japan might never ban ICOs just like how Chinese have banned it overnight. Don't have any deep knowledge on political situation in Japan but I believe they love innovation and technology rather than financial gain.

Are you talking about ICO for NEO (chinese ethereum) like token ? Yes I will participate...are there any out there right now?
