You are misunderstanding the problem that we are facing, as long as the people behind all those projects are still the same then it doesn't matter what kind of method they use to try to gather money they are going to become scammers and will steal all the money of the people that put their trust in them, we have come to the point in which scammers are the majority of the people behind new projects and the only way to protect yourself completely from them is to not invest in any new project.

Yeah ICO are now dead and STO and IEO has taking the cryptocurrency sphere. IEO to me as been seen to be the only available and good choice compared to STO and ICO. Though most IEO also have some setbacks but yet still reasonable beacuse theres tendency the project will be listed immediately after completing the IEO in that exchange.

IEO has indeed become a good choice, compared to STO or ICO. But behind it all, not all IEO is always good and profitable. Because most IEOs have low exchange rates, they always suffer a loss in value. That means we have a loss. And a good suggestion to choose IEO in a large exchange.
Choosing a Large exchange for an IEO is not a problem but paying the massive fees charged. Secondly, IEO favors the developers on the long run (they get development funds from IEO proceeds and they have the opportunity to still release team tokens in the market), admist all these, I don't think the investors are protected enough.
In the end, most crypto projects are profit oriented and thus takes its profits from the pockets of investors. I want the next fund raising model to focus on protecting investors more. Not exchanges. Not developers but Investors

Not only ICO is only scam. These days many IEO projects too have started scamming investors and also bounty participants. They don't keep to promises from after bounty is ended and distribution of reward becomes annoying to them. When it is mentioned, you are blocked so that you never get the opportunity to expose their scam.

investors are not getting smarter ... they just start to be afraid to invest and then lose their money. they very skillfully hold them; they do not want to send them to projects unknown to them. if before they understood what they could invest in any project and it would bring them profit, now they are simply not sure about it. and all this does not mean that they have become smarter Binance brought a new story to the market. after the ICO project died, the crypto investors switched to investing in another fundraiser called the IEO (Initial Exchange Offering). STOs are more better than the other two however scammers, fraudulent projects are also making their way more creative. What I mean is that, they are as well adopting to what is new and seems to be more persuading to people. As what was been said here, although there are seems to be more secured investing with we still need to look on what is real, half real, and worthy of investing with.

I see the same thing. if there is an ICO project, and IEO in the future, I will certainly check, and do research on IEO first. Well, I feel that IEO has a better edge, and I feel that it's easier to choose IEO over ICO in a scam problem. 
ICOs & IEOs are same in my opinion so we can say ICO are not dead but it got upgraded to IEO with only difference is IEO offers confirmed listing on the exchange on which project held fundraising. If you want to invest in IEOs still you have to do research like we used to do for ICOs like team background, Concept of the project, revenue generation, token matrix, advisers, partnership, working product, user base etc.

We all are aware that cryptocurrency market is full of risks and ICOs are riskier. That there are lots of scammers out there doesn’t automatically make the market bad, there are still good ICOs that you can invest your money in and make good profit and not lose your money. I’m not going to start repeating to you how to spot the good ones because that has been discussed several times in this forum. Don’t automatically assume that IEO and STOs are a better option, they might be safe but there is no guarantee you’re going to make money, investors might not invest in it and it will fail.

No doubt gone are the days of ICO and IEO, but u can check IMO (initial Model Offering) the model is quite unique and safe for investors due to buy back policy and token lock policy. Now ICO market is completely gone because of 90% projects fallen into scam category.
