Yes ico is really a good investment depending on the platform if it was successful, one of the ico that i see who has a coin that really increase a huge amount of value in the market is credits, their coin runs up from $0.43 to $0.69 and i think that it was really profitable.
i still believe its still one of the best way to gain profit in cryptoworld. for example coin lately been raised so much is datum. it rise so high around 15% profit you gain from datum coin just in few days (3-5 days). i would say investing in ico is much profitable. go search datum coin if you not believe me and see how the value grow.
