I don't like investing in ICOs because i dont agree with the way they are being carried out currently. I would rather invest in stable coins already out on the market with promising tech and good developers.

ICO is not the best way for investment. Very few projects have faced. Basically, the project failed!

I think is one of the best way. At least if you have a mixed portfolio you should be just fine.

Joining ıco at first may be profitable given the bonuses. Even the smallest amount of money to join is the best way to support the ıco project.
I invest a deposit in an Ico i like.

Ico were one among the trusted way of profiting. Some gets profited and some doesn't, it all happens based on the growth happening with the concern project based on the scheduling. When someone has the plan to invest into altcoins, it's good to invest it by the time of ICO itself.

This is a very broad question. The crypto-currency market is still very young and unpredictable. Many people make their fortunes very quickly here and lose them as quickly. The question is, how well do you understand the IKO and the crypto currency in order to invest in them. If so, it's a good idea to make a fortune.

It pretty much depends how confident you are about the project/team. If it's a solid idea and you think it has good chance to flourish - the ICO will always be the best time to buy .

An ico can be a great opportunity but only if you invest in the right ico and with the current climate it can be really difficult to know which ico is a good one to invest and with the current ban on china then things are very slow in the ico market, to me it is better to wait a little and see if the project makes any progress.

Do you think ICO is the best way to invest in?
If you have the money to invest in a coin that is already in an exchange then do that because the money that is used in an ICO can vanish without a trace and your coins will be worth zilch.

I think that it is necessary to have a mechanism that does not explode when using it in actual demand

I thought it is the best way, cause bitcoin higher now so it is not possible for buying and holding,
but Ico is the best way for buying and holding for long term,
but before buying you have to research which ico is best for holding.

No its better to wait till the ICO finishes and wait for the market to dictate the price cause most of the time ICO tends to hit below ICO price when its listed to exchanges
That's right. I even saw the situation when it was possible to buy tokens on EtherDelta cheaper than ICO price right at the time of ICO, lol.

It's not the best way, clearly because some of the projects couldn't manage to develop their platforms regarding to their roadmap and this is bad for the investors. You can find mining or trading instead of this.

"Best" is a strong word. It's definetly a new form of investing that's worth keeping an eye on and participating... who would not want to participate in the future?

Actually it varies from ICO to ICO. Investments in ICO are long term investments and it can be profitable if the coin supplied in ICO are listed in coin market or it has a  chances to be listed. So we can say it also depends upon luck.We can earn a lot by investing in it or maybe we will get nothing from it .

Well maybe from there we should really choose a very good ICO to invest, because if we do not see first, maybe you will be very risky in investment, so get used to read before you invest.

no. before you buy ico, would be good to own some "Stable" coins - BTC, ETH, XMR, LTC

I partially agree with you Prabakharras. I am doing both from beginning, I invest in buying bitcoins
first, after I save some of that in bitcoins some I invest in ICO`s.
For now I am very satisfied, and that is encouraging me to try to invest more in bitcoins and in
upcoming ICO`s.
I hold my tokens safe, for sending them I need to have ethereum. I did not know about that until
recently, I still have a lot to learn. Ethereum instantly attracted my attention, and like bitcoin ethereum
will have rich future.
I have limited funds. I can not invest in every alt-coin. Choose couple stable and ICO`s that are
promising. Little here, little there, how much I can afford, that is my motto.
